I have known Mr Govind for over 30 years, we left for a few years when he went private but soooooooooo happy we returned, his care, manners and staff are 5 star. He must be the best dentist around... My children who are now adults still remain filling free thanks to his care. I would recommend to even the most nervous patient

I have been attending Mr Govind’s dental surgery since I was a teenager with a hiatus when I moved away from the area. I was so glad to be able to register with him for myself and my young girls. He explains everything, is kind and patient and genuinely makes a visit to the dentist a pleasure. I cannot recommend him highly enough, particularly for anyone who has had a previous negative experience or is perhaps scared. Elaine on reception is welcoming and lovely to talk to as well as Mr Govind’s lovely dental assistant. My youngest even put her best party dress on for the occasion, no fear because of the great experience received. How all dentists should be!

From point of reception through to and during dental practice you feel welcome and know you are going to receive expert attention. A narrative is provided by Suresh prior to and during treatment so you are aware of what will take place and at what point you are in the procedure. I cannot think of one person who does not get at least a little apprehensive about going to the dentist but I assure you with Gedling Road Dental you will be received by a wonderful team who do their best to make you as comfortable as possible. Suresh is amazing at what he does and unlike most dentists, is great with making his clients feel at ease. I am so happy that I've found this dental practice having had some pretty hideous experiences prior. A friend of mine recommended Mr Govind and his team and I must admit I was very nervous. However my expectations have been exceeded and I am now telling anyone who will listen how amazing they are! I felt listened to and I understood exactly what was going to happen with the treatment. Everything was explained to me and I feel I've had such a thorough job done. Nothing was rushed and I really felt like I could trust that I wasn't going to be unnecessarily traumatised. What a wonderful dental practice. Receptionist Elaine, is so friendly and superb at her job. She’s always great for a good chin wag before going through to Suresh who is just an absolute wonder. Everything is explained thoroughly and I’ve been put at ease for every procedure I’ve had. It’s says a lot when you’re looking forward to your next check up. The whole practice has a family feel to it. My teeth have never looked so good. The aftercare is great too. I recently had an extraction which involved stitches. By following their aftercare plan, I haven’t had any issues and all is healing well. Thanks guys!

I am so nervous of most dental procedures but Mr. Govind and Kim are just the kindest, most patient, most supportive professionals I have ever met! Whether it's booking more time for me so I can air my worries to them or just holding my hand, I know they are always there for me. The practice itself has such reassuring and comforting vibes and the newer staff such as Elaine and Lisa are also extremely nice. I have been very fortunate to be a patient of Mr Govind for ten years. Yesterday I need two fillings and I didn’t feel any pain at all. I was given a topical anaesthetic so I didn’t feel the injection and it was so relaxing having the procedure ( yes really ! ) Mr Govind explained each step from the photos of my cavities, to the X-ray, then the fillings. He was so quick I thought he’d only done one and he’d finished both ! I had no pain after the anaesthetic wore off either. I drive all the way from London every 6 months as I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my teeth and oral health. He’s also a very kind and genuine person who cares about the wellbeing of not only his patients but also for his his lovely staff many of whom have been there for years. A wonderful testament to the way he looks after them. If your looking for a new dentist I could recommend anyone more highly. Thank you Mr Govind and to all your staff for keeping me healthy and smiling fabulously ! 😁

The whole team have been absolutely fantastic. I've had some cosmetic work done recently and I'm thrilled with the results. I feel really confident now with my smile now! Dr Govind and Kim are lovely and make you feel calm and at ease and they talk you through everything they're doing: a real comfort for both confident and nervous patients I think! Gedling Road Dental Surgery follows covid regulations scrupulously. Elaine is always cheerful and reassuring. An asset as a dental receptionist. I must thank Suresh for his meticulous hard work; each step he explained calmly and patiently. He has a kind, caring and empathetic manner. He is ably assisted by calm, quiet Lisa. When fitting the new crown Suresh was painstaking in ensuring the fit and finish was flawless. My tooth has been saved and looks and feels great. I really appreciate all you did. I have suffered a severe phobia of the dentist since my childhood, even going for just a 6 monthly check up was a severe battle , that's until my sister recommended Gedling Dental . I must admit at first I was a little dubious as it's a 30 mile round trip from my hometown ( that now is totally irrelevant, I would happily travel double that now if I needed to ). At the beginning of lock down I broke a tooth , I emailed Suresh asking what he could suggest and he gave me fantastic advice and also posted out to to me a temporary filling kit ( along with his personal mobile number so that we could face time / video the correct way to use it ). When lock down restrictions eased slightly Suresh wanted to see me to check the extent of damage etc , everything thoroughly explained to me about my upcoming treatment ( once lock down restrictions had eased further). I have just arrived home after my treatment a large filling , I have never felt so calm & relaxed after a trip to the dentist in my life . Everything was explained to me in great detail throughout every step , constant reassurance from both Suresh and Lisa his wonderful dental nurse , and checking I was feeling ok ( also not forgetting Elaine the lovely receptionist who greets you with a warm smile & welcome . ) I honestly can not thank you enough , thanks to you amazing people I feel that I might have finally won my battle against my phobia . What a lovely dentist. I rang them in agony after being told I couldn't be seen by almost every dental surgery in Nottingham for emergency work. The team were BRILLIANT from reception to dentist. I have never been so welcomed and comforted, Mr Govind even worked through his lunch to see to me. My girlfriend was even offered lunch by the dental team whilst she waited. This is not just a brilliant dentist but a brilliant team. I have since booked in and I will be moving dentist! Oh, he even rang me at 7pm just to make sure I wasn't in pain before he shut shop, a genuine nice person who has a heart of gold!

Mr Govind is extremely kind and has an excellent manner, if you are scared of going to the dentist - you won't be visiting Mr Govind.
