I'm an NHS patient who hasn't been to the dentist in over 10 years. I finally got back in the system after needing some help with a painful abscess. I was very anxious but the staff at Portland are extremely friendly and my dentist Dr. Khan was very professional. He took the appointment at a speed comfortable to me and talked me through the whole process. Can't recommend them enough. Great practice.

I've just joined after struggling to find an NHS dentist to take me on to complete root canal treatment. I can't fault the service, the office staff were friendly and helpful, booking me in for an immediate evaluation with Dr Eitharhuni. This went well and I came away reassured after he explained what would happen next. A treatment plan is now sorted and appointments already booked in. Very clean and spacious waiting areas. Glad I've joined this practice.

This dental practice is superb !!!!! Sundas and Lauren are so sweet, courteous and professional looking after you all the way whilst you have treatment. The reception staff are polite and organised and the surgery and reception area is spotless and comfy. Cannot fault the practice in anyway well done to you all and Thankyou for how you look after me.

I have never liked the dentist and when I moved to Hucknall a few years back I transferred here. I can honestly say they make me feel so comfortable and calm. I haven't felt any pain during the work I've had done. Really friendly staff and always on time!

Not registered with the practice , got a 111 emergency appointment with chronic toothache. Had a very difficult extractor which took some getting out but the dentist and staff were excellent. The dentist stopped and gave me more pain relief when I asked and the dental nurse was there to give reassurance when I got a bit weak the knees . Well done , well recommended

I have been bringing my family to this dentist for years and they have always been really good. Today my son got a medal stuck somehow in between his teeth. Its new years eve the dentist appointments were all booked up. I explained the situation and they really went out of the way to help me. Dr Ahmed Al - Shammary managed to get the mental out of my sons teeth, he was really kind and friendly to my distressed son. This dentist went above and beyond would highly recommend.

Front facing staff were quick to deal with me, although a slightly more friendly approach would be welcomed. The Dental staff were impeccable. The dentist and the nurse were friendly, informative, attentive to my many questions and did a great job putting me at ease. They were clearly, very well drilled. Thank goodness those drills don't sound as scary as they use to!

Went for the first time last week. Nervous because it was my first check up in over 5 years. All the receptionists were very nice, including both blonde ones! I saw the male dentist (Ziad) and he was great. He doubled checked when I said I thought I had a cavity in a particular area and took an x-ray which showed a wisdom tooth underneath. It hasn't moved in years so we agreed that it just needs monitoring for the moment. Despite not going to the dentist for 5 years all I needed was the usual scrape and polish, so very pleased! Excellent dentist.

Had no problem with the service last i visited 6 months ago- my experience was fine, polite front desk and lady dentist....straightforward and quick, teeth done well with a short wait. Would go again no problem. I used to go to 7 dental in Hyson Green, Nottingham...but this one I found better.
