I’ve been to the dentist today and am in middle of a course of treatment. I am a very nervous patient but the dentist, Beth, and nurse, Leah, have been so calm and reassuring on every visit. They have really gone above and beyond, especially with working throughout the pandemic. If I could nominate them for a national award for caring and professionalism I would gladly to so. Sarah on reception also deserves a special mention but I find them all really helpful and responsive. I think dental practices like this have been under appreciated during the pandemic but I am really grateful they have been there. Thank you.

Thank you to the lovely practice manager at the Smile centre . After my blood pressure dropped after teeth extraction, she was so kind , understanding and empathetic whilst sitting with me during what felt like a scary time . Am sure she helped to normalise the blood pressure. The dental nurse was also lovely and oral surgeon very efficient . Lovely receptionist gave me a chair to sit outside while taxi came . You do get the impression that they are very busy .. but kind of expect that in most dental practices.

Honestly couldn't ask for a better dental practice. I am always greeted by the friendly receptionists which really helps if your a little nervous about going. When I'm in the waiting room staff always say hello when walking through and the dentist explains things clearly to me when I'm in the chair. The dental nurses always make sure I'm comfortable prior to and during dental work and my dentist always gives me opportunity to ask questions about procedures; giving me great advice on looking after my teeth in between visits.

I received the most considerate and heart felt care today to relieve me from pain I had been experiencing for weeks. Sarah on reception had shown such kindness to listen what I had to say and Elizabeth demonstrated exceptional skill in keeping me pain free through the operation. Was terrified of the dentist after an awful experience as a child After learning I had to have a moler extraction my anxiety went through the roof My appointment was 10 and I was awake since 4 worrying After the excellent receptionist calmed me I decided to go ahead The dentist was excellent explained my options and out comes The injections weren't so bad and the extraction was painless and quick Highly impressed and greatful to a brilliant staff and team I won't be so afraid next time I have anything done that's for sure!

I can’t praise the team, and especially my dentist enough. She fitted me in for an emergency extraction today( 26/2/21) and I believe that because the procedure was so good, I now have practically no pain at all, having taken a couple of paracetamols 😊. I’m a very nervous patient and my dentist, and the staff answering my calls, have all been amazing- reassuring me and always returning calls. Brilliant care and customer service. Thank you, Lesley

Great service from my regular dental facility. COVID has shaken things up a bit and I am really grateful I still managed to get in, have an xray, my tooth repaired and my checkup done all in 1 go - with minimal fuss and 'almost' zero contact. These guys are pulling the stops around patient safety and I am really grateful that they did it with a smile on their face!

I have had some let's say really rather unpleasant experiences at dentists. I am not the easiest person to treat at the best of times. And yet from the start the while staff have been amazing. All the staff. Several speak in the street which I think is amazing and they are all very chilled and friendly. My original dentist left and I have been moved to an other in the practice, both are very patient and amazing I can not recommend them more highly. Top of the line service and staff.

Firstly I'd like to thank the Smile center. I was in unbearable pain and no dentist were open. These took me on for an emergency, and they were fantastic. Very kind people who won't see you suffer. I had a tooth out yesterday and i feel so much better now. Id recommend the smile center to anybody even if you have a fear of the dentist, you will feel so much at ease with these. Such nice People. Well, I've just been on the receiving end of some fantastic, highly skilled dentistry from my new dentist Lizzie Betts. Cannot rate her work highly enough after attending for 2 very difficult extractions. Lizzie is extremely welcoming, reassuring and professional. Couldn't ask for more and would recommend her and her staff to anyone. Thank you Lizzie.

Excellent service today for tooth extraction. Everything explained fully and throughout asked if I was ok. Very nice people. Some advice though....when you send out appointment letters you might want to add more details about where to park. The letter mentions 2 hours outside which is fine but it was full. I went down the embankment and was about to leave the car when noticed you have to register to park for free. Spent a stressful 10 minutes trying to register online and ended up paying 20p for what is supposed to be free 2 hours. Allow extra time is my advice and be aware.

Have just read the reviews (whilst in the waiting room before my appointment). Everyone here works hard to look after you. I do not understand the criticisms of the reception staff. I have always found them to be friendly, courteous and helpful, both face to face and on the telephone. As a nervous patient this is a great help in that five minutes between arrival and being called for my appointment. As far as I'm concerned this is a 5* practice where I've had a range of treatments over the years.

Hi I just want to say on behalf of my partner who had a tooth extraction this morning at the smile centre nottingham the surgeon was very professional and understanding he carried out a swift and successful procedure I would like to say that I would highly recommend this practice.

I have been using the Smile Centre since 2000 or so and cannot fault them. Despite moving as far away as Eastwood, I still come back. Mr Tribble not only keeps me up to speed on what he's doing, but he was fantastic with my partner, who had not been to a dentist in eight years when we met. She needed a great deal of work. He and all the staff flagged her up immediately as a "nervous patient" and treated her with kid gloves. They let me hold her hand the entire time as everything was explained to her in detail. A few years later she now visits Mr Tribble on her own and has no problem with dentists any longer. I have not been asked to write a review; I simply came online to find the phone number because my phone contacts have disappeared, and saw all the criticism. What a shame that the other reviewers do not like old buildings. A surgery does not have to be a recent build in order to be clean. My only criticism is that the desk staff can sometimes be a little brusque with me, but if I worked on a reception desk all day, I'm sure I'd sometimes be funny with people too.

Very professional and sympathetic staff. Parking along the river bank is straightforward and cheap. Just check the route first as roadworks often cause an issue in the embankment area.
