Dr Serabi has been my family dentist for over 10 years, always calm and friendly and so professional and thorough. He's so very gentle with my son too, which is really important, kids need to like going to see their dentist. It is such a great practice, with lovely friendly reception staff and a hygienist who is gentle but very thorough. My teeth look amazing after she's cleaned them. I wouldn't trust my, or my family's teeth, to anyone else! Thank you, you guys work so hard. We really appreciate all your efforts.

Have been regular patient of Dr. Sarabi for three years. Had several treatments, including an implant which was tricky to do but successful. I fully trust his opinion and work. He has a lot experience in complex treatments, he is cautious and explains everything very well. The process is clear and makes me feel confident. What I am happier with is that he has changed my dental routines to avoid problems, so has prevented new problems and issues emerging. The clinic is very well managed and staff helpful and friendly. I am extreme dentophobe… how my dentist experiences tend to go is floods of tears, shaking, unable to talk properly and that’s just stepping in the door.. But I came to St Johns after a lengthy search for a NHS dentist. The waiting room is very calming and welcoming and doesn’t feel like a dentist waiting room. And then Patricia tops it off as my dentist! She was so kind and listened to my worries and fears.. she took her time with me and I managed to have her examine me WITHOUT tears!! She somehow kept me calm and collected and has made me gain faith in a dentist! She also laid out a plan to slowly go at my pace to get through the various dental work needed due to years of dentist avoidance by me! Thank you for helping me begin my journey in getting rid of my phobia!

Managed to get a short notice appointment after an accident resulting in a damaged tooth (wear a mouth guard whilst doing jiu-jitsu, all I'm saying). Couldn't have been happier with the service, From the reception staff to the dentist and dental nurse, all of whom were polite, friendly and professional. Saw the dentist who took xrays, showed me the problem and explained what would need to be done along with potential other options if this course of treatment didn't work. Very highly recommended. Most certainly going to be my regular dentist from now on.

As someone who is at best, apprehensive, at visiting Dentists, and have avoided going over a good few years - having been recommended this place by a friend of mine, I just want to say what a great team they have here at St John's. I always find I get a very personable experience whenever I visit for any of the work i've had done over the last few months. Ella on reception is always a welcome sight on arriving, especially when she's reassuring me I'll be fine... even though i'm nearly 30.. Whether you deal with Ella, or Maisey on reception I believe you get a very professional and accommodating approach. I have all my treatment with Reema, she takes every care to ensure i'm comfortable and feel at ease, talks me through any and all issues and gladly discusses all options available. And as a result I shall continue to use this practice for any future work I require.

I cannot rate this dental practice highly enough. The level of professionalism and friendliness is second to none! I am not great at going to the dentist (not afraid just lazy), it has always felt like something I could put off until I couldn’t. I lost a sizeable filling, no chance of refilling, amber you need to have a crown. The staff put my mind at ease every step of the way. All of my options were clearly presented to me and the pricing matrix was crystal clear. In the past I have felt in other practices that the staff try and steer you to the more expensive treatment options but this was not the case here. It was completely my choice to make but thanks to Patrica I fully understood my options. I opted for the private treatment rather than NHS as the tooth in question could be seen when I smile and I want my smile to remain as natural as possible, however I do believe I would have received the same level of care and treatment had I have opted for the NHS crown. Patrica not only the ultimate professional, was personable and always seemed pleased to see me. She talked me through the procedure at all stages as well as maintained conversations with me throughout. It really did take the stress out of visiting the dentist. Her team we also brilliant, friendly and professional. I now have a smile I am happy to share with the world again. I cannot stress enough how fantastic this practice and all of the team who work there are but a special thanks to Patricia … see you in 6 months!

Dr Sita Madaan is the best dentist anyone could hope for. In the past year I have changed eight very old fillings. Dr Madaan did such a fantastic job that not even I can remember now which teeth are which! Zero pain, absolute perfection. I was also impressed with the professional behaviour of Dr Madaan and her colleagues- always responsive, always willing to respond to my questions. Our children have also been attending St John's practice for five years now and we are always more than delighted with their service. Over the last three years this dental practice has provided services to meet the needs of our entire family. Because of the warm and non-intimidating approach of the dentist, our little ones love their 6-monthly check-ups! I have had three very tricky fillings replaced by Dr Madaan, which look and feel fantastic. What is important to me is that Dr Madaan carefully reviewed the situation, took the time to explain to me my options, responded to questions with clarity and did the work efficiently but without rushing herself. I never felt that I was just another number in a queue. The individualised attention in this dental practice is a reason why the quality of the work is so high, and why we will continue using them for our entire family. I highly recommend them.

What an amazing team. I've been well looked at this dental practice over the last 10 years! A great thank you to Sophia and Lyn both been the best receptionists (along with Rachel in the past) Such wonderful people to be with on the phone and in person! And luckily this new dentist from Iran Dr Ahadi has looked after me well since he started a few months ago. He is knowledgeable and given me great confidence with my teeth(out of all my fillings!) He's honest and reliable and trust-worthy! Just avoid Dr Madann at any circumstances. I am being honest with my bad experience. I will not forget the way she forced to glue my tooth crown back 2 years ago with her very limited skills and knowledge. Often took one bad experience to ruin the whole team. I'd rather lose my tooth than to be treated by her again.

Most of the staff is very helpful, I did have this bizarre experience with one dentist who kept insisting that there are no genetic factors predisposing a person to cavities, and that my daughter’s cavities were only caused by me feeding her a sugary diet (which in case you are wondering, I don’t, by any imaginable definition of the term - I mentioned this at the time, but he rather arrogantly replied that ‘all mothers say that’, as if I’d actually care what some dentist I meet once in my life thinks about my parenting skills) - I did email the practice, and they made him send a written apology, which was highly unsatisfactory as he clearly did not engage with any of my objections (such as his claim that grown-ups who have cavities despite not being known by their nearest and dearest to favour sweet foods are actually eating sweets in secret) and simply restated his opinions. on the plus side they did avoid scheduling me with this particular dentist afterwards

I have been with St Johns for over 2 years and every single person I have met at this practice is professional, and extremely caring, from the receptionist to the dentists, to the indomitable, smiling and extremely efficient and knowledgeable office manager, Sophia. I have visited many dental surgeries in my life (15 different dentists so far) but I have never had such a humane, caring-professional experience. I always feel as if I am visiting my family rather than a dental surgery, where one might be gripped with fear and dread and face possible unpleasantness from untrained staff. This is NOT the case at St Johns. This is a people centred surgery, where professionalism, skills and expertise are in abundance. Dr Sarabi is my dentist. His skills are beyond comparison. He is a genius in dental surgery and implants; The best dental surgeon I have I ever met. My experience at this practice is beyond professionalism; I know it is difficult to say someone is perfect, but Dr Sarabi is perfect beyond perfect. The dental skills he exhibits are unparalleled, from giving anaesthesia, performing complex and difficult surgical tooth extractions to dental surgery and implants. I had a number of complex dental problems and Dr Sarabi was more concerned about making sure whatever treatment I chose was the best one for me, both financially, medically and aesthetically. He went beyond the call of duty by investigating my health issues and making absolutely sure the treatment plan given was the most appropriate. Several times we had to cancel scheduled treatment because of my indecision and health issues but he was never angry or irritated. He wanted me to be completely satisfied with my treatment plan. He performed several difficult extractions and during one surgical teeth extractions procedure, thinking he had only removed the first tooth, I asked him if he was removing the rest and to my astonishment, he had finished 4 extractions like magic. There are people who have a natural knack and seemed CALLED to certain professions, Dr Sarabi is certainly one of them. He is called. His professionalism, compassion and care are beyond measure. These were his words when I marvelled at his relentless patience with me, the warmth shown throughout my treatment, he said: " I treat my patients as I would like to be treated." It was never about money with Dr Sarabi, it was about the human being. This practice also has a wonderful dentist who specializes in facial aesthetics, so one can be completely at home with all sought after skills under one roof. If you are looking for a skilled, professional, people centred practice, then St Johns should be your home. Do not make a mistake and go for cheap imitations, unprofessional and unskilled dentists who will promise you heaven but end up in hell. Choose St Johns and you will end up trying to find words that exceed mine to praise this fine dental practice.

Had the beginnings of an abscess/ infection manifest itself yesterday, (28/5/2020), called the practice, followed instructions on the ansa-phone message (as dental practices were closed during cv19 lockdown) , sent an email, shortly after which I received a call for a dentist, discussed my problem, and a prescription for a short course of antibiotics was electronically sent to my local pharmacy. I have had good quality care under this team for many years now. I saw the comments of some other users, and felt that it was important reflect my views here too. Please may I suggest that it is important when reviewing an NHS organisation, not to blur the distinction between the costs of dental care which has no funding from the Government, and the quality of care provided. Specifically I do not consider it fair to criticise the Practice for treatments which are not funded - any complaint about the expense of treatment should be levelled directly at the Department of Health and NOT targetted at the Practice. The Practice has no control over NHS funding.
