Been going to the Hartley Dental for a while and I can't speak highly enough of them. Can't say enough great things about the entire team. I always receive a very warm welcome from all staff. They will ensure that you are as comfortable as possible during your time in the chair as well as while you wait. My actual dentist is extremely professional but also very friendly and so helpful it's a pleasure to see him, he makes me feel very relaxed and at ease with any treatment I have had. Thanks very much for always providing such a great service.

I recently attended Hartley Dental for a new patient appointment. From the moment that I called the practice to enquire about being seen I was very impressed with the excellent and professional service I received, the receptionist was friendly and informative. I was seen by Dr Simon Poyner. Both he and his nurse were fantastic and made me feel at ease. I am a nervous patient and all of my worries instantly went away when I knew that I was in good hands. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this practice to anyone who is looking for a dental practice. An easy 5 stars!

I've been to many dental practices over the decades California, Norway. North Carolina and so many others. I felt so well looked after from the moment I walked into Hartley Dental for my appointment with Dr. Simon Poyner. It was lovely entrance through a peaceful garden and then met with the smiling faces of Molly and Wednesday who offered my wife and I a coffee. I felt so comfortable and the waiting area was bright, cheery and relaxing. Dr Poyner met me and walked me through several options and I was extremely happy with that. I saw the sense in the insurance plan and am now insured. I was given a full oral exam which was very thorough. I have two teeth that I was certain would have to be removed and Dr Simon said no to that as he could work on them and save them! Dr Simon really does make you feel comfortable and relaxed. Very superb dentistry indeed ......and I've had a dentist in (smiley shiny teeth California) for years. I honestly know I have found my best and most caring Dentist ever. Been going to the Hartley Dental team this past year and I can't speak highly enough of them. Charlie is a great dentist cares about what he does and has taken great care of my teeth after me not going for a few years. Advised me of a treatment plan and results have been great. Dean does a great job on the hygiene front and nothing is to much trouble . Can honestly say my teeth have never looked so good. Special mention to the lovely girls on the front desk ringing me to remind me of my appointments and taking as much care of me as Charlie and Dean. Simply the best Dentist in Plymouth, absolutely no question! The girls on reception (Molly & Wednesday) are so helpful and make it super convenient for me to deal with the practice - this also coupled with the digital 'patient portal' makes life SO MUCH easier! I can book my own appointments, complete paperwork and view my account whenever I like. Charlie is fantastic, so experienced and knowledgeable. Dean & Janie (both of whom I've seen) are also fabulous and very gentle! Any treatment I have had has been pain free and I am somewhat anxious about visiting the dentist, but the Nurses also help me feel totally at ease. The whole team are superb as is the treatment and I would not hesitate in recommending Hartley Dental to anyone who is looking for (or not looking for!) a new Dentist! Thanks guys!

Back at the Hartley dental practice a few days ago . While waiting I was given a delicious cup of fresh coffee. And the option to read a wide selection of current popular magazines. While sitting on a comfortable settee in a top notch waiting room. If not for covid I would have arrived much earlier for my appointment. Here’s the kicker though a friendly team very professional you know you that all aspects of your dental health is going to be totally looked after. In the practice of mindfulness they say be kind to yourself I am certainly meeting that goal with Charlie and his team . Bravo Zulu to them.

Excellent service from beginning to end! We are visiting here and so are not registered with a dental practice. Hartley Dental was the only dental practice that responded (having tried many) and fitted me in for an emergency appointment which then resulted in two hours of treatment. Root canal work must be one of the scarier things a dentist can do to you and does have a bit of a reputation! Even as someone who has no fear of the dentist I was a little nervous. I need not have worried, as usual everyone was warm, welcoming and professional. Charlie made sure it was as smooth and painless as possible. He is, hands down, the most skilled dentist I've ever had. With top notch covid measures in place and a fab team I would thoroughly recommend this practice.

After attending many different dentist practices in the city who left me scared, in pain and usually crying I came across Hartley Dental, I booked an appointment very easily, the reception team are lovely, on the day the usual nerves kicked in, shakes, gippy tummy but I managed to get there, the team made me feel so comfortable it was unbelievable, they actually showed interest in me and my teeth. I have been with them since last year now, Charlie the dentist has done many different procedures on my teeth, always giving me time to relax and breath! The hygienist I go to is called Dean and he is also excellent, he is very gentle and explains everything so well. I cannot recommend this practice enough, I am no longer frightened, and my teeth no longer give me any trouble.

My teeth were a rag-tag, hodge-bodge, loose collection of nobodies; and now they are a tight, well drilled and proud unit, ready to take on the world. In addition to this, the staff are all friendly and informational. Yes they all have to wear masks now because of bloody covid, but their eyes smile and that's what matters. I am a nervous person when it comes to the Dentist and I was dreading visiting any type of Dental Practice. However, when I visited Hartley it was a really re-assuring experience. The team were welcoming, professional and nothing was too much trouble. I cannot praise the professionalism and competencies of all the staff at this practice. Charlie and his team were approached several years ago to give a second opinion after extensive cosmetic work carried out by another dentist started causing problems. They worked tirelessly liaising with other dentists to correct the work and I cannot express enough how satisfied I am with the results. The process has been long and painful but I was continually reassured during this time and the after care was and still is amazing. The smile is back on my face and this practice is the only one I trust with it. Thank you Charlie and Jainee in particular for your continued meticulous care to keep my smile.
