B. P.For anybody who is nervous of going to a dentist this is the place to go. I've had to have two teeth out because of a infection, the nurse Shannon really made me feel at ease very helpful and understanding how i felt. Usman the dentist was very good the best I've ever seen explaining everything he was doing, Christine on reception was very friendly and helpful, Karen who is the patient care co who looks after you after treatment is very helpful and friendly. Would definitely go back.

S.All of the staff at the clinic are extremely friendly and helpful! Molly has been very helpful getting my treatments booked in for me and I have just started having treatment with Phillip who is amazing! Not only is he a very highly skilled endodonist, he is very genuine and friendly. He takes the time to explain things to me and always puts me at ease. I feel very lucky to have Phillip as my dentist and I would highly recommend the practice to anyone wanting to receive dental care to the highest of standards
K. F.I would give 5* for Dr Iqbal and all of the fab ladies working there. I have always needed lots of treatment since I was in primary school. Having had a large payment to make for something else, the dental treatment I needed has been really hard to pay, but I suppose that's expected with private treatment. I worked out that the amount it has cost me to get 1 implant has been £4655. Breakdown below:

For those believing an implant will be £2500, be aware that there are many extra charges that can be included. The bone graft was due to my lack of bone for the Implant to fit. This won't be a requirement for everyone. Dr Iqbal did a great job in completing the Implant and bone graft in one appointment.
I don't recommend the intravenous sedation as they need to bring another dentist in for this. This was going to cost me £750 but the dentist couldn't inject into my vein, so this was scrapped. I chose this practice for the sedation alone. Without sedation, everyone there did a bloomin amazing job carrying out the work as I am the most nervous a person can get with dental treatment.
Dr Iqbal and the gang have given me a lot of confidence that perhaps I can have treatment without the need for sedation so I'd highly recommend them for nervous patients.
There have been crossed wires with the payments and I didn't expect the additional charges. These aren't really mentioned to you. I recommend you speak of the additional costs that could incur. I listed all of the extra charges I had.
Overall, if you can afford to, I'd recommend going there for nervous patients, and people wishing for implants.

F.I’ve been undergoing treatment at the Smile Clinic for 4 years and the work they have done has been exceptional from start to finish from the dentists, reception team and hygienists, I can’t speak highly enough of the work they have carried out. Very friendly, professional and the results for me personally have been a gamechanger!

A. A.This is "Grimsargh Smile Clinic", it is deceivingly named Emergency Dentist when during an emergency, the provided number isn't attended and when visiting in person an appointment is still needed and the patient needs to wait.
Otherwise, staff at the reception were kind and professional, however were unable to explain why several calls at the emergency number were not attended!
The appointments provided were reasonably spaced, however we were informed that a follow up appointment got cancelled without a near alternative to attend the temporary treatment provided during the emergency appointment.
I would recommend visiting this clinic on an elective basis for its kind staff and perhaps competent dentist, however look for an alternative when you need to be attended urgently.

J. P.After suffering with excruciating pain on and off for over 2 years I had to book an emergency appointment as my dentist could not see me for another few weeks and I came to the end of my tether. I went for a check up in the morning and was told I had a really bad infection. Mr Ratnasingham had no appointments available to get me booked in for the emergency extraction of my tooth, but after explaining my circumstances he offered to work late and got me in that evening. The procedure was a success, as I’m writing this review the morning after I feel amazing. No pain, soreness, swelling or bruising. He managed to extract the tooth quickly with no complications and he went above and beyond to help me out. All of the staff where lovely and I felt at ease the whole way through. I’d highly recommend this place, absolutely top class service 👍
H. B.I have been so pleased with the dental treatment I have received that I wrote a personal letter thanking the staff who work there. All the problems with my teeth and gums have been eradicated or lessened. I only wish that I had been in the care of this professional team many many years ago. The ambience of the clinic is calm quiet and relaxed which is bound to be beneficial for anyone who is anxious at all. I have now joined this practice because I found them to be competent, friendly, reasonably priced, well qualified and experienced. What more can you want?
K. T.I first attended Grimsargh Smile Clinic in December 2020 following problems with a filling. They offered me an emergency appointment the following day. The filling was sorted with great care and attention. I also discussed with Phillip Ratnasingham a course of treatment as there were a number of problems I was experiencing with my teeth. We agreed a plan which involved crowns and overlays to be completed over a number of months. Phillip was brilliant, he kept me detailed of everything he was doing and why. He advised a range of treatments, costs and time scale. His treatment was sensitive to my concerns about being nervous due to previous poor treatment with another practice. He has restored my confidence and willingness to have dental treatment. The Smile Clinic has also been cautious and supportive during the COVID-19 crisis adjusting practice to ensure both patient and staff safety. I have no hesitation in recommending Phillip Ratnasingham or the team of Supporting Dental Staff who were always attentive and friendly.

My dad William was made the most amazing set of teeth from scratch and he has not stopped smiling since. His case was complex and due to his dementia he could be confused but he was treated with the utmost respect, dignity and kindness at every single visit. His teeth are amazing and I cannot recommend Dr Uzman Zafar and his team enough thank you GSC .

When my only option was an implant, I was so dreading the procedure but I need not have worried, in fact I nearly fell asleep while it was being done! I had no pain afterwards and the temporary tooth was great, friends and family even thought it was my permanent tooth! S. N.I required an emergency appointment due to a filling rubbing against my nerve in my tooth which was causing severe pain in my tooth my whole left side of my face and my ear. After my own practice refused to provide me with an appointment I was so fortunate to come across Grimsargh Smile clinic. I can't express how grateful I was that they managed to sort an emergency appointment and treat me within a few hours of ringing them. The dentist was very thorough, knowledgeable and very compassionate towards my circumstances and provided me with the best treatment. A. H.After severe toothache for over 24 hours and the NHS emergency dentist not able to get me an appointment for another 24 hours I called the out of hours service and got an appointment within the hour at 11pm by 11:40 I was out and was pain free, very reasonable prices and very friendly.
b. m.Where do I start. I made a call at 08.30am for a emergency appointment and by 09.30am I was sat in the dentist chair after spending the night in complete agony.
It was quickly diagnosed the cause and after a quick x-ray I was having the anaesthetic to have the tooth extracted.
I was kept inclusive and involved throughout the process and was regularly asked about my welfare and pain management which was super reassuring.
After what felt like an e-on (30 mins) the stubborn tooth was out.
The aftercare provided was second to none and everything was explained thoroughly and accurately. I felt like nothing was too much bother and it is the reason that I remain a loyal customer to this practice.
Thank you so much for helping me through what felt like an ordeal and will always recommend you as the go to dentist in Preston and beyond.

I spoke to them about an impacting wisdom tooth which had me in agony.
I had been to many emergency appointments but they refused to extract it and told me i needed a referral which was not available on emergency appointments.
Smile clinic asked me to come in for an assessment and booked me in for an extraction the next day.
Very polite and friendly staff, even offered a hot drink whilst i was waiting.
10/10 definitely.

R.I have recently completed my Invisalign treatment at Grimsargh Smile Clinic and I could not be happier! I was nervous at the thought of the possibility of getting a brace before my first consultation, but as soon as I left after speaking with Dr Iqbal and the lovely staff, I felt excited and couldn’t wait to start with it and see my results!
The staff have been absolutely brilliant throughout the whole year of my treatment. A special thanks to Doctor Iqbal who is fantastic at what he does. I started my treatment in March 2020, the month we went into lockdown due to the pandemic, yet not once did this affect my treatment. Dr Iqbal made sure I was given enough of my Invisalign trays to be able to change myself at home in order to not delay and prolong my treatment. And with my Wedding Day just around the corner I could not have been more grateful! Thankyou for everything and to all the staff who are so welcoming. I’m so happy with my result, it was the best decision I have made in a long time!
p. w.I had reservations and fear of cosmetic dentistry due to my previous experience and the fact that it went terribly wrong.
I therefore attended a consultation with Arfan Iqbal at the Smile clinic with trepidation. He had been recommended to me by a friend, who had nothing but praise for his work.
From the very first contact I really had nothing to fear as he was nothing but pleasant and professional and put me at ease from the outset.
I underwent extensive gum surgery over several months and finally had a bridge replaced. I could not believe the transformation and that it was even possible to get the results that I did.
Dr Iqbal worked his magic and I have been absolutely delighted with the outcome of my treatment .

D. S.I have recently completed a course of treatment at the Grimsargh Smile clinic and cannot speak too highly of the quality of the care given by the dental team. I met Phillip Ratnasingham last September as a new patient when another practice I was with was closed for business due to Covid. The Grimsargh Smile Clinic has invested in the extraction and protection equipment to enable them to continue offering full dental services through the pandemic. This must have been an expensive investment and I am sure makes dental work much more difficult but I commend the team for their efforts in continuing to offer services.
The work done on my teeth was routine and preventative but involved 4 visits. Phillip is a very considerate and sensitive dentist inspiring confidence at all times. I would have no hesitation in recommending him and his support team for dental work. I am sure this young man has a long and successful career ahead of him and I wish him well.
D. W.I had some gum disease issues and my previous dentist couldn't even get me a hygienist appointment for 3 months despite being private, GSC saw me the very next day, and several more appointments followed quickly with Amanda the hygienist and we soon had that under control.
We then moved on to dealing with my crowns and bridges which were nearly 30 years old by this point, after discussing all the options available I decided on full implants top and bottom with Dr Arfan Iqbal. I chose the Smile in a Day method whereby the old teeth are extracted, the implants are fitted and then then a temporary bridge is placed, this is done under sedation and makes for a totally pain free experience. 6 months later the final set are fitted.
Covid came right between getting the top and bottom set done, so it took longer than originally planned, but all finished now and couldn't be happier with the final result.
All the staff at the clinic are amazing, and I have no hesitation is recommending this practice.

The quality of information and efficiency from Waris is superb, with my welfare always paramount in his thoughts.

P. H.I recently had a lengthy and invasive procedure to repair receding gums. I have a strong gag reflex and was therefore concerned about how I would cope with a lengthier treatment than normal. Dr Irfan has the patience of a saint and was so understanding every time he had to stop, even though it was mid stitch. Superb treatment with lovely staff and very good after care. Highly recommend this team.

O.A good experience overall, composite bonding was expensive for just bonding the edges and some disputes between prices, retainers was a hidden cost which I didn’t know I’d have to pay before, that could’ve been clearer. But overall, staff are lovely.

R. T.Brought my 14 year old daughter here as she needed 4 teeth removing ahead of getting braces. Her own dentist managed to get one out but said she needed the rest removing under sedation as had maxed out anaesthetic and she was still in pain. Came here for a consult and the dentist was very confident and said he would get her numb enough for the extractions without having to sedate her so booked in for extractions. Very nervous after her prior experience but the remaining 3 teeth were removed in less than half an hour and she didn’t have to raise her hand once. Completely pain free experience. Highly recommend.
