This practice has had a recent refurbishment creating a modern, light and airy space. The equipment seems up to date and the individual consultation rooms are hygienic but still comfortable. I especially liked the screen fixed to the ceiling which shows a fish tank of exotic fish - only seen when you are fully reclined in the dentist’s chair! The dentist team are friendly and give good feedback on the condition of your teeth and mouth. NHS care is offered, as well as private. I find the dental checks thorough and the hygienist services also good. I would recommend this dentist practice.

I have been with this dentist for many years and have witnessed the changes which are really impressive. It has always been a very friendly practice from the receptionist on arrival to the dentist, hygienist and nurses. My dentist Alex is excellent and carried out extensive bridge work a couple of years ago. My husband has just completed two consecutive appointment days of deep root channel work. Alex was particularly careful and attentive with him as he was suffering from quite a lot of pain in his neck so unable to recline fully. I would certainly recommend this practice with confidence.

My husband and I had appointments today our first visit to this dental surgery. As soon as we walked in we were welcomed by two friendly receptionists. We didn’t have to wait to see the dentist who gave us a thorough check up and a plan of what was needed. I would not hesitate in recommending this surgery. Very professional and helpful.

Had a great cleaning session with dental hygienist Stephanie. I usually dread dental appointments but she was just amazing, very light on her hands, and gave me a good proper clean. It was oddly satisfying but there were no unpleasantness or pain during my cleaning that I just had to leave a review. The receptionists are lovely as well and the environment is just lovely. Airconditioned which is a huge plus today,

I feel that I can trust the dentist here to tell me the truth and not do unnecessary work. They do not push private treatments like some dentists I have been to. They give clear and sensible advice and avoid causing discomfort while treating me. I also come to a hygienist here who does a good job too.

I had some staining on my teeth and was curious about the air flow polish so I decided to go privately and I am so happy I did. Lucy Baker was my hygienist and she was fabulous. Very welcoming, reassuring and a perfectionist who knows everything. Lucy gave me a full debrief on my teeth, was transparent about their pricing and did an incredible job. I will definitely be going back.

My son had a small accident in January, he fainted, fell on his face and broke his teeth. It was very painful. I contacted Bassett Dental Practice and they took him on straight away. All the way through the treatment, we always got an amazing service, help, information. Everything was explained to us in detail so we knew what and when was happening. Dr. Jinal is amazing. Dr Jinal Patel and her colleague Lauren were knowledgeable and reassuring and I felt like I wasn't being pushed to do unecessary dental work etc. Dr Jinal convinced me to consider cosmetic work one step at time to maximise healthy teeth (not shaving teeth away etc.) Lucy (hygienist) is really passionate about good oral care and provides great education too! Louise and the reception team are all really friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to ensure I could have my hygienist appointments before my invisilign treatment (despite staffing challenges because of Covid-19 sickness). To top it off the renovations look fantastic - very modern, warm, and inviting.

Jinal is always welcoming and knowledgeable, coming up with sensible suggestions for keeping my teeth in good condition and repairing them where necessary. I have been a patient at Bassett Dental for around a year now, I have returned for 6 month check up this week and I believe it is now under new management and I felt I needed to write a good review as it seems to have changed for the better. The reception team were really efficient at fitting me in around my busy schedule and my dentist Dr Patel who I believe is the new owner was very reassuring and knowledgeable in her field of work. So thank you to a great team, and I am looking forward to my Invisalign consultation in the new year!

Very happy with both dentist and hygienist treatment on my visit today. Excellent information and advice from the hygienist regarding different styles of interdental brushes - thank you. I’ve been with this practice for 15 years, and there was a two year period when it seemed I saw a ‘new’ dentist each time I turned up for my six-monthly check-up. That was a bit of a concern, but I get the impression things are now settling down under the new ownership. Administration/reception, hygienist, dentist all very professional. Communication from the practice to me - by email and telephone - are first class. I first registered with this practice when I worked in Southampton. Five years ago I retired, and the fact I’m still coming here when I live 24 miles away in Ringwood, will give an idea of the high esteem in which I hold these nice people. Thanks for what you’re doing to maintain a service during this awful Covid era.
