I made an emergency appointment with ferry dental after another private dentist failed to get me out of pain. What can I say, Dr Harris is fantastic, within that first appointment he managed to get me out of pain and go through options. I cant recommend this dentist enough, they are reasonably priced considering that they are a private practise and I won't be going anywhere else in the future. Great customer service from a very satisfied customer 🙂🙂🙂

Amazing service. Highly recommend. Lovely receptionist. Dr. Charalampos Papantonis is friendly and kind. He did excellent job. Always warm and welcoming and not satisfied until their patient is happy with whatever work may have been needed. He is a great doctor who listens to the patient and takes care of him/her with great attention. Especially does not try to take as much money as possible like many dentists who only want money. I've been using Ferry Dental since lockdown and my dentist is luri coev... The dental surgery always remind me of my appointments via email, safety has been great during my experience in the lockdown with questionnaires, temperature checks... Always asked how i am following day after appointment via email again. Really great service and luri has been really great doing the extensive work I needed on my teeth always informed me of my choices as I went along. I am very satisfied with my first appointment at the Ferry Dental Centre Southampton. I was politely welcomed by Alisha in reception and made to feel comfortable while I completed a brief form. I had complex work done such as root canal treatments at this Practice and I would highly recommend the place to everyone. Dr Harris and Lillie work as a Team, they are true professionals who listened to my issues and recommended the best solution possible. I found the Practice is very accommodating when urgent appointments are needed. This is the best dental practice I have ever visited! Harris and the team are amazing professionals in terms of quality of work, efficiency, and overall experience. Really nice dentist with amazing customer service. They’re private so of course a bit more expensive than going to an nhs dentist. However, I had such a bad experience with my last nhs dentist I basically left crying and instead came to Ferry Dental. I saw Dr Iuri Coev and it turned out I didn’t need as much as what my nhs dentist had said. They’re amazing at communication and making you feel comfortable, letting you know what they’re doing etc. They even checked on me in between appointments. Would definitely recommend to anybody who is perhaps feeling a bit nervous about going to the dentist as they make you feel so comfortable you won’t put off coming again in the future.

After seeing the great reviews I decided to choose Ferry Dental after moving to Southampton. Since then I have had the initial check up, clean and polish as well as a few fillings. I can say that on each occasion the work carried out was 10/10 and at all times Dr Harris explained what he was going to do so no sudden nasty surprises! Between himself and the dental nurse Alesia they form a great team working well together. After any appointment they send me a email following up to make sure I was satisfied with the work done which is a great touch.

I am so grateful to Luri and the team at Ferry Dental for their fantastic and very much appreciated work that they put in, to sort out a very painful and nasty root canal infection. I was seen within three hours of my first contact and they diagnosed exactly what the problem was - quickly and efficiently. A course of treatment was drawn up along with a full explanation of what was needed to put my tooth right. I cannot stop thinking how I was treated so brilliantly by Ferry Dental compared to my very poor NHS dentist. I couldn't fault the experience I've had, but the key to such a good dentist for me has been the clear communication prior to treatment, then constantly updates throughout treatment. Absolutely FANTASTIC in such difficult times! I had to go here today for an emergency because I had something embedded in my gum and Dr Harris was fantastic! So too was Aida the receptionist and dental assistant. I am always incredibly anxious about visiting the dentist after a horrific experience as a child, when a dentist drilled and filled all four of my back teeth at once, without any anaesthetic injection or gas, when I was just 4 years old! Dr Harris is humorous, confident, and reassuring and he explains everything very clearly. I had a root canal treatment here and I couldn't be happier with the results or the treatment. Not only were Ferry Dental cheaper than many of the other dentists I enquired with, you wouldn't know that from the quality of the treatment. They always responded very quickly to my emails, the surgery is very well kept, very clean and they play relaxing music while sorting your teeth out - this might sound insignificant, but it does help when you're sat their with your mouth jammed open for 45 minutes staring at the ceiling! Professional reception/nursing staff and a highly skilled dentist (Dr Iuri Coev in my case) - I'm very happy with the results. You can't even tell the difference between the tooth I had the work on and the others in my gob. Great service, highly recommended if you need to see a private dentist.

I needed quite a lot of work done as it had been a few years since my last checkup. After a couple of horrible experiences previously I was worried about booking an appointment to say the least. I went for Ferry Dental by chance, as they were open after my work hours. The consultation was quick and easy but showed i had to have a few fillings done. I was sure I'd need local anaesthetics, but Harris said we'd try without first and i was amazed what difference a skilled dentist makes. I had all the fillings done (one was very large) and not for one of them did i feel like i needed anaesthetics, which i would have never thought possible. Harris will tell you what he's doing the whole way through and ask you if you're in pain, working around sensitive areas. April, the practice manager is great too. I honestly can't recommend this practice enough. If I had known how painless it all was going to be I wouldn't have waited for so long. I never write reviews, but I'll make an exception when I'm blown away like this. 5/5!

Harris is a great, kind and gentle dentist. My partner is extremely scared of dentists through previous experiences but she has now visited Harris three times both for cosmetic work and also for routine appointments. Today she had to have an extraction and Harris went out of his way to make her feel comfortable and at ease and the procedure went better than we had expected thanks to Harris and his assistants. They even called us when we got home an hour later to make sure she was ok. Dentist...what can I say? Depends on your needs. Like the car, for example... My wife wants a new car, It has to feel safe and have a cup holder. I want her car to be reliable (to avoid her calling me) and be efficient (I pay for her fuel). At the Dentist, you want to spend the least amount of time there as possible. You want it to be pain free, and you want to have the absolute minimum amount of treatment done. Someone from the office recommended Ferry Dental. I booked my appointment via email - very handy, as I was too busy at work to call them - I had a response within the hour! I was able to make my appointment in the evening, after work (which is good). I parked straight away outside the cinema. I had a thorough check up. Everything was explained. I needed 2 fillings. And I went back on Saturday. So i was able to have them done before work on Monday morning...Great! I was in and out quickly. No delays, No waiting and a happy dentist! After treatment I am always shown high resolution before and after photos with some info on the work carried out and during my first appointments I was given advice on how to optimally clean my teeth, as a result my dental hygiene has much improved.

I am new to the area and was looking for a dentist to give me a full assessment and a clean as I hadn't been to a dentist in a while. The service at Ferry Dental was absolutely brilliant, the full assessment was only £60 for everything from X-rays to photos and a cancer check. For the clean I was given a free upgrade to airbrasion which would have cost me an additional £45 so was very grateful for that! The staff are very friendly. A no-nonsense professional service.

The dentist (Dr. Papantonis) showed great professionalism and concern and prepared to answer all questions in some detail. I had the impression of being treated as an individual rather than just another client - a rare experience indeed. The overall sensation was of travelling first-class as opposed to economy - to use an analogy. The treatment - a replacement filling was required, as I had an exposed nerve due to a disintegrated old filling, bore no comparison with some previous traumatic visits to other dentists, I am delighted to say. Nothing less than perfect will do! I came to Harris to "rescue" a tooth from an ill-fitting NHS crown. When the metal crown was causing me problems my NHS dentist said that the only option was extraction. Harris assured me that the tooth could stay where it is and he could provide me with a perfect-fitting, white ceramic crown. When the new crown arrived from the labs, Harris wasn't happy with the colour or that it didn't fit exactly as he wanted it to. So he sent it back, took new impressions and made sure I got a crown that fitted perfectly and was the right shade to match my other teeth. Harris pays very great attention to detail and is not happy with "making do" - if it's not perfect then he's not happy. I would recommend him to anyone.

Just a quick note to say a big thank you to Harris and his team at Ferry Dental in Ocean Village. Years of coffee and red wine drinking and cigarette smoking had left my teeth looking decidedly yellow. With Ferry Dental's advice I started on the Enlighten teeth whitening programme After an initial thorough clean they make you some trays (like a rugby gum shield) which you fill with special fluid and wear at night for a couple of weeks. Then you go back and they give you one final clean and seal your brand new pearly whites. I just finished my programme this week and the results are outstanding, my teeth could not be whiter. Ferry Dental offer a great service, and this is money well spent in comparison to those home kits from the chemist.
