I had the most amazing experience at Hampshire Dentists. Very helpful reception staff making you feel very welcome. As for Dr Rob, well, I am truly stuck for words, Dr Rob played my favourite music prior to start my implant surgery. I haven't felt any pain at all. Asking me how I feel during the process. The assistant ( I can't remember her name), was great too as she took that stress away before the surgery. I can't thank you enough for how I have been treated at the your practice and I will most definitely recommend to all my friends and people I know. Having been looked after by Harley Street dentists for years I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of care and equipment at Hampshire Dentists, which frankly matched and exceeded what I was used to. Robin has a relaxed approach and really really knows his stuff. It is worth saying the investment in mouth scanning equipment makes it so much better for patients. First class dental practice.

I am thrilled with my stunning new smile courtesy of Dr Robin Hanna and his amazing team. Dr Hanna fitted 8 crowns and two veneers to correct the sub-standard upper-teeth veneer job done elsewhere. He first showed me the various smile options that I could go for and once I explained my preferences he meticulously stuck to my choices and did everything to create my dream smile. He took photos and scans to assist his lab team and did amazing pain-free prep job for my new teeth. Once I had the temporaries fitted, he patiently made the tiniest adjustments and tweaks needed to enhance my smile. Dr Hanna is a very patient, caring and dedicated professional with an unparalleled work ethic. He gave me his full attention and by clearly explaining every stage of the process as we went along, dispelled my fears of undertaking such a major cosmetic job, especially after my previous negative experience. He was truly supportive and dedicated to create the shape of the teeth and the smile-line that I asked for. I'm impressed with how natural and beautiful my teeth now look. Dr Robin has been my dentist for years now. He’s the best dentist I’ve been to. Always listens, and has a kind and gentle approach to dentistry. Been to some butchers in the past! My son knocked part of his front tooth off and was a bit worried about having it stuck back on - Rob explained the process to him and what each instrument did before he got in the chair so he was so much more relaxed when it was being done. Fantastic patient care delivered by true professionals! I have just finished a course of treatment for the worst tooth ache I ever experienced; it was literally tear inducing. I moved to the UK from overseas in 2017. My then 14 year old daughter had braces and I needed to find a dental surgery that used the same brand. How lucky was I to find Hampshire Dentists. Rob has been amazing throughout for both my daughter and myself. My daughter's smile is perfect and she has felt so at ease with Rob and all the very friendly staff. The girls on reception are always happy and welcoming. For myself Rob has helped with a troublesome implant that I have had for many many years which became loose. He's gone out of his way to help, contacting my previous dentists so we could get the the write screw and fix my problem. I love that the receptionist work with you to find appointments that fit in with your schedule, going from check-up to Hygienist in one easy visit. The reminder system of texts and emails make certain that you never miss an appointment. Can highly recommend Rob and the whole team at Hampshire Dentists.

Cannot recommend this amazing dentist enough! Super friendly and when they say pain free they mean pain free. I have wanted to get my teeth straightened for over 10 years but I always felt I was too old as I’m no longer at school age and and was worried about the cost. I had a consultation about all the different options and went for the white fixed brace had it on for just under two years and am so happy with the results also had some composite bonding and was able to spread the cost. The whole team at hampshire dentists are lovely and very welcoming always friendly and make you feel at ease every visit. Very clean and professional I definitely recommend to anyone if you are thinking of getting anything done to your teeth I have recommended a few people now which are also so happy with their progress with braces! Needing an emergency appointment whilst 100 miles from home and caring for a very poorly child in intensive care I phoned up and explained my situation. What a fantastic, friendly practise. I've had the joy of going to NHS dentists for many years, but after being called in every 3 months for something irrelevant every time, I had finally had enough, and gave up on going to a dentist. So when I needed a dentist again, I decided to give Hampshire Dentists a go. From start to finish, they have been friendly, polite and very professional. All my questions have been answered. Not in your typical dentists fashion, but in a friendly, informative way. There is no pressure to do anything if you don't want to. Yes, they are a private practise, and the cost of treatment shows that - however, with that cost you get the care and quality that the NHS simply do not have the resources to offer. I would highly recommend them.

As usual, Dr Rob Hanna & his team at Hampshire Dentists did a great job. Another surgery told me that I would have to wait 5 weeks for a broken tooth that had an old metal filling in it which was classed as an emergency. I was seen within a couple of days of calling and although the filling was very old and tricky to get out Rob did it with care making sure that I could not feel anything at all. I used to really hate going to the dentist (even age 40-something) but the whole team put you quickly at ease.

I first went in and spoke to the team at Hampshire Dentists, which was a tough thing for me to do, after some awful experiences with other dentists, I just lost all faith, my teeth were something that was affecting me mentally and physically, stopping me doing so many things I wanted to. The team put me on to Rob Hanna, Rob couldn’t have been any more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and everything I asked for he made sure of it. On the 20th November I was in the chair for 9 hours nearly. I was put to sleep out of choice of my own, which was probably the best thing I did. I woke up feeling only a little sore, considering what I had done I thought I would have been in agony! Getting Rob to fix my teeth was the best thing I ever did. I cannot thank him enough, I’m currently having some more small treatments, but feeling so comfortable and trusting, I’m going to just be numbed rather than asleep, which for me is crazy as walking into a dentist before meeting Hampshire Dentists would have been a miracle let alone having work done whilst being awake. I really can’t thank the team enough. I smile now, which I never did before, lots of friends and family didn’t realise I even could smile! My confidence is sky high and I’m so over the moon. Hampshire Dentists are the by far the best dental practice that I have been to. After years putting up with sub-standard NHS treatment, I finally decided to find a new dentist. Luckily, I found Hampshire Dentists. I was originally put off private dental care due to the costs but I have been pleasantly surprised. On my first visit, Dr Hanna clearly explained what work I needed and which teeth I should keep an eye on. A full price plan was set out which has allowed me to budget for my treatment. The treatment I received was first class and all procedures were explained throughout. I was especially impressed that Dr Hanna took photos before, during and after the treatment to ensure that I fully understood why the work was needed, and how it was completed. All members of staff at Hampshire Dentist are extremely friendly and they make you feel welcome as soon you as you walk through the door. I have now visited Hampshire Dentists a few times, and I'll be going back. Like many people, I have been going to an NHS dentist my whole life because of the costs that are associated with private treatment. However, you pay for what you get. There has been a lot of "don't worry about it" or "we'll wait and see if it gets worse" which hasn't given me much encouragement in the past and made me terrified of going even for a single check-up. That wasn't the case when I visited Dr Robin Hanna. I felt calm and at ease for the whole process, and any small signs of issues are addressed from the moment they are spotted. Dr Hanna always said to me that it's better to address anything before it gets worse, which in the long term will end up saving me money. One of my filling on my front K9 has had some severe staining due to the time it's been there, and Dr Hanna has managed to fix it and make it look natural and new again. All done without numbing, and I have to say I didn't feel a thing. Reading this back I'm shocked myself, and I know that it sounds too good to be true, but as someone terrified of the dentist I want to make it known that this will change your attitude completely. I know that costs can be daunting; however, a white filling is cheaper than when I had to pay my NHS dentist for it. The care provided by Dr Hanna and his excellent staff is something else, it never feels rushed or focused on how much money they can make of you, the focus has always been on the best care that can be provided to you. If you're uncertain (like I was), you can book in a complimentary consultation which will make you realise that this review if very much genuine and you'll be walking out of the dentist chair smiling and confident.

I have been visiting this dental practice ever since moving to the UK three years ago. Previously I was fortunate enough to enjoy first class service and treatment in Germany but Dr Hanna and his team have set new standards and made dental check ups/treatments incredibly easy and successful. Every team member at Hampshire Dentist is very helpful, accommodating and understanding. I have my regular check-ups/hygiene treatment and some more major work completed here. Dr Hanna is fantastic with simple explanations in the consultation phase and he has put a great treatment plan together for me and over the last months restored my smile with dental crowns. As a working mum, spinning numerous plates I often find it difficult to find time to make an apt to see a dentist, thankfully I found Hampshire dentists who have extended hours & clever reminder text service to alert patients of their apt. More importantly and the key factor is the quality of dentistry by Dr Hanna and his team is outstanding. Dr Hanna has a great deal of patience and understanding, taking time to explain in detail to me of the procedure I was having done & ensuring I was both comfortable and content with my treatment. I have used Hampshire Dentists to have braces fitted as I was unhappy with how my teeth looked and felt. I initialy visitied Hampshire Dentists in August 2017 and went ahead with the treatment plan shortly after. I was given various payment options and all costs were explained to me before going ahead, there have been no additional costs whatsoever. I have now had my braces off just over a year and extremely happy with the results, and I often receive comments in regards to how my teeth look now. I was super nervous when I moved to Southampton and had to find a new dentist in a city where there are so many to choose from. I was really happy with the one that I had and had a few bad experiences in the past that made me very nervous every time I went for a check up and even more nervous if I had to have any work done. My first appointment with Dr Hanna I sat in the reception shaking a little as I was so nervous. As soon as I walked into his treatment room I was instantly put at ease by his huge smile and calming nature. He talked me through the whole examination and asked me so many more questions than the usual “how are your teeth” and also checked my jaw which I’ve never had at another check up. I’ve had one or two treatments with Dr Hanna and I can honestly say he goes ABOVE and BEYOND any other dentist to make sure you are comfortable and looked after (I think he genuinely cares that his patients are happy, pain free and gives them the best/suitable advice) instead of offering treatments to make money. It’s not only Dr Hanna that makes the practice what it is though as you are well looked after from the moment you step in thanks to the reception team and friendly dental nurses. I would highly recommend Dr Hanna but my husband is also a patient of the surgery with another dentist and is also super happy with the treatment he receives. In 24 years I've never had any issues with my teeth until now which I have had to have 2 wisdom teeth removed at once. The whole experience was absolutely amazing, especially compared to other places I have been and the NHS. All the staff here made me feel ever so welcome, offered me coffee and generally made me feel as comfortable as can be. Can't fault them at all and definately considering changing permantly to this dentist! I contacted Hampshire Dentists to enquire about orthodontic treatment to give me a perfect smile. Initially my query was via email and the response time was fabulous. Morgan (Practice Host) emailed me quickly with all the information I needed to know to make an informed decision of whether I wanted a consultation..... so I did.... Like most of us our hectics are crazy and a trip to the dentist is not a priority unless there is something wrong however a time was booked that was convenient to me. On my first visit I was greeted by an enthusiastic warm hearted Cassie (Reception Manager) who immediately put me at ease in a very welcoming environment. I was very impressed by the cleanliness of the practice and the smart professional staff who I came into contact with. When you know that someone is on the same page as you and is so enthusiastic about getting you the results you want I would have been silly to look anywhere else. I explained time was of the essence and taking that into account I was booked in to see the very friendly Rob (Dentist and owner of the practice) I had to admit I had not seen a dentist for a while but I was not judged one bit! The technology in the Practice is second to none. I had a full check up including X-rays and could see the damage I had created by not visiting the dentist regularly..... the same day ( good time management by the staff to avoid repeated visits and uncessary delay to myself) I saw the fantastic Andrea (specialist Orthodonist) where we discussed various brace options. There was no stopping me now!! So I booked in to have both sets of teeth fitted with the unique Damon Brace system. The practice offers various finance options and so I sat down with Beccy (practice manager) who explained the process and finance options. At no point did I feel pressured or rushed. Once again another member of staff who cared so much about helping me get what I wanted. She went above and beyond staying late to help me.... Today I had my braces fitted (the whole process in under a week because they listened to my work commitments) Caroline (Nurse) was so caring and Andrea (specialist orthodonist)... well it’s easy to see why she is a specialist! I am so picky with great service but I truly can say that I cannot find anything negative to say about my experience so far. The care patience and great attitude of all the members of staff is second to none. Is this review long....yes! But isn’t that just evidence of quite simply an amazing amazing service? Of course it is :) xxx

Firstly, what a lovely lady cassy my consultant is, she couldn’t have made me feel anymore welcome and it was a pleasure meeting her and also her assistant, they were so helpful but also fun to talk to and even managed to get me seen for an impromptu checkup there and then as in her own words “I know you have travelled quite a long way today” I had travelled straight from work in Kent that day and I have recently re located to west London and a re-visit would have been a 3hr long round trip so the unexpected check up was a real bonus! Secondly, the checkup I had was very thorough (unlike some other dentists I have had in the past) I can’t recall the name of my dentist (sorry!) which is shame as he deserves a mention but he and his assistant were brilliant with me and by the end of it I was left in no doubt that this was an excellent dental practice that obviously look after their patients, I left feeling that I was in safe hands moving forwards and the prices are more than fair for the service you are getting as a customer. I located Hampshire Dentists online and sent an email. I received a prompt response inviting me to call and make an appointment time. My original concern was that some of my front teeth had degraded (due to age and a historic eating disorder) and I thought I might need invasive treatment such as crowns/veneers – a treatment course recommended by a previous dentist. I was really pleasantly surprised when I met Dr Hanna that he didn’t think crowns/veneers were necessary, and suggested a contemporary approach which I wasn’t aware of, that was cheaper and less invasive. He also suggested I might be grinding my teeth – an issue I was vaguely aware of because of incidents where I’d wake myself up in the night because I’d been grinding so aggressively, and because my partner informed me of the strange clicking noises I made in my sleep. I also had a history of thoracic outlet syndrome/T4 syndrome (neck and upper vertebrae pain) and very regular headaches – all potentially related to bruxism (teeth grinding when asleep). Once the issue was pointed out to me - it was very obvious. I had flat canines and the incises were degrading. I therefore had two issues – pretty chronic teeth grinding, and ugly looking front teeth (to me, anyway). Dr Hanna put together a comprehensive report for me with my treatment options – procedures, costs, outcomes. The report was personalised, easy to understand and provided an example of a patient (de-identified) with a similar dental problem, details of treatment and before and after photos. Dr Hanna proposed a plan to address the two issues – cosmetic in terms of changing the look of my teeth, and the longer term dental health issue of teeth grinding, and how to manage this to ensure no further degradation of my teeth. I ended up having cosmetic resin to repair both incisors and canines, I also had a hard plastic splint known as a Michigan Splint, made to wear at night – probably for the rest of my life. Bruxism isn’t something that can be ‘fixed’ or ‘stopped’ and therefore it is about finding a means of protecting the teeth during sleep. The Splint was originally really tight and uncomfortable, Dr Hanna corrected it by loosening it off until it fit well. I don’t notice the split at all when I sleep. On the rare occasion I forget to put it in, I generally wake myself through a grinding – which I am now critically aware of. At one point between the cosmetic resin treatment and the splint being finalised, I managed to chip some cosmetic resin off through grinding in my sleep. Dr Hanna very kindly fixed this free of charge. Dr Hanna doesn’t really come across as a typical dentist. He is very friendly, relatable and able to explain sophisticated clinical concepts clearly and thoroughly. The dental nurses and reception staff are all delightful – friendly, warm, accommodating and professional. Getting dental work is usually a huge pain but I found the experience really easy and not as expensive as I anticipated. I felt like I received holistic care because rather than looking at a simple cosmetic concern, Dr Hanna diagnosed something long standing and (probably) permanent that I was otherwise unaware of. I am 100% happy with the appearance of my teeth and more so, pleased that I have addressed the issue of teeth grinding through which I was likely to damage my new teeth anyway. I would completely recommend Hampshire Dentists for high quality, thoughtful, professional and holistic dental work.

I think I just witnessed witchcraft. Magic, certainly. I chipped a front tooth over the weekend and was convinced I'd need a crown or cap or something similarly unpleasant, time-consuming and expensive. But the wizard I saw at Hampshire Dentists said he could fill it there and then. I was taken aback still further when he suggested I wouldn't need any painkillers or anaesthetic but he was spot on. While he went to work my mind raced. I convinced myself my front teeth would no longer match - that the chipped one would have to be cut short. Nope. The result is art. I'm astonished. My teeth have never been "Simon Cowell" white (thankfully). They're not yellow either but somewhere inbetween. Dr Marius (I think that's his name, although it may be Dumbledore) hasn't just matched the length of my teeth but the colour is identical too. I genuinely can't see a join. Best dentist in Southampton in my opinion. He explains clearly to the patient about the procedure. Dr. Rob is amazing at what he does. I would recommend this dentist to all my friends.

Traveling from Essex to Lulworth for a weekend away. On the journey lost a crown. Tried a couple of dentist on google who were unable to help. Found Hampshire. Recptionist on the phone was so helpful. Sympathetic and booked me in for the next 20 minutes. When I arrived the Dentist saw me straight away. I have just completed a series of treatments to bring me up to date with fillings and the hygienist - never particularly enjoyed going to the dentist as a kid and nothing really has changed until I went to Hampshire Dentists - great staff from the first contact with reception through to the treatments that Robin Hanna did for me - very considerate throughout and a first class job, especially putting right some old fillings that some NHS butcher had put in years ago - I have to say I really don't recognise the negative comments on here - they really don't ring true - I live in Southampton - both me and my partner have used this dentist and only have positive comments to make.
