I can't recommend this practice highly enough. I recently moved to Swindon and wasn't sure where I could find a dentist. I was so glad I came across them. The whole team, administrative and clinical are professional and caring. Also, they really work as a team; everyone is valued and each helps the other. In my own case I had a crown /root canal work that had gone wrong from another dentist; they were so thorough in finding out what was needed and even shared the care when my own dentist felt that a colleague of hers had more expertise in a specific part of my treatment. All went brilliantly and I felt totally safe in their hands.

I highly recommend this clinic, I woke up on the Tuesday with a bad toothache. After reading the reassuring reviews I phoned them, and the lovely ladies on reception managed to get me a cancellation, which I was so grateful for ,as I had a wedding to attend on Saturday. Nish the dentist and his assistant were absolutely lovely and reassuring.problem sorted so very happy. Thank you.

I struggled with such fear & refused to go to a dentist due to horrendous treatment from a dentist when I was young. I couldn’t even stay in the room let alone stay in then chair! I was a nightmare patient I would be vile as I was absolutely terrified of the dentist. I was then thank goodness referred to Julie, Helen, and the fabulous team. It has taken a while for the trust to be built between us. But now I absolutely love them, their patients & kindness is incredible. I dread to think what my teeth ( if I still had any) would look like without them! I still have wobbles but they calm me down as they have taken the time to get to know me. They know what to talk about to keep me calm. I cannot recommend them enough. They truly deserve a medal for all the years of dealing with me. All I can say is if like me your a truly nervous patient you must go and like me you’ll never regret it and you’ll make such wonderful life long beautiful friends. I really hope one day I can repay their compassion & kindness especially the incredible Helen I’d be lost without her.

I had a tooth extracted here a few weeks before Christmas 2021. This was done under sedation. It was a brilliant service….a well thought out system in place, very well organised. To answer a few common questions. Under sedation, you will not… Feel the extraction. Hear any noise. See anything. You fall asleep for around 10mins and when you wake up, it’s all done. You can go and sit down in the comfy seats until you feel able to leave. Having sedation, means you must not drive. You need someone to bring you & take you home, and someone (doesn’t have to be the same person) to stay with you for 24h. You are not allowed to operate machinery etc during that time…so book the day off work. It is expensive….but the experience is far better than having the tooth removed at your regular dentist with an injection into the gum. Once the life comes back, you will still have post operative pain…and how long that lasts depends on how big a job your dentistry work was and also how quickly it takes you to heal (everyone is different). So you still need painkillers, salt water mouth wash, etc for the following few days.

The treatment and care delivered by the dentists and entire dental team can only be described as first class. My wife (who always has sedation) has attended the SDAC for over 13 years and in that time has received outstanding care and treatment from Dr Helen Mannion Jones and her team., always aiming to save teeth wherever possible. I switched to SDAC three years ago and have received first class treatment on every visit. Brilliant team.

A huge thank you to SDAC. I've had dental phobia for many years and from the moment I rang and spoke to Julie you were kind and understanding. James put me at my ease immediately and his calm, quiet manner was such that I decided to have treatment without sedation, something I never thought I would be able to do. The treatment was painless - I had numbing cream before the injection and didn't feel it at all. The dental nurse was wonderful - caring and reassuring throughout. I cannot thank you all enough for your patience and understanding - I am so grateful to have found you! I felt very reassured by the professionalism and care I received on my first visit and when I returned for two fillings James and Penny were outstanding during my treatment. I'm super anxious when it comes to dentistry and had to have two molars removed. I was referred to here by MyDentist in Swindon for the anaesthetic as I wouldn't have coped with the extractions under local anaesthetic. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout my visit and the whole process was completed in just under an hour. The anaesthetist whose name I did not get was an absolute pro. Normally when I have IV drips/injections on my arm, I come out in lots of bruising but from here, it's the tiniest patch of yellow with no pain. Excellent work, very fast, painless and actually made this one of the first dentist visits I didn't have to worry about. If you've been referred here, relax! You are in good hands.

The ladies at Swindon dental clinic are by far the best! I had a wisdom tooth extraction yestersay and was extremely nervous and anxious, i was crying before i even got into the chair and really worked myself up. The dentist Katherine and her assistant Maria were who was dealing with me and made me feel like i was one of thier own, I was so comfortable and relaxed. I was sedated and did NOT feel or know a thing! I was in and out within 45 minutes and I have hardly no after pain atall! I would defiantly go back anytime I need dental treatment now and wont be scared or anxious! Thank you swinson dental clinic to you all!

In my recent visit I had an impacted wisdom tooth removed with sedation. The entire team of girls were extremely accomodating, making sure the entire ordeal was more than comfortable. Well worth the money when you're in pain. The phone was answered immediately and I was booked in to be seen the very next day. The X ray machinery is of high quality and showed an important issue my regular NHS surgeon missed. The dentist and the assistant were very good as I felt nervous, and extracted the tooth without any issues. I was even given a bag with after care instructions and a couple of items to aid healing. Highly recommended.
