I have seen the dentist once in ten years and was traumatised, finally but the bullet to go to another practice and came here! I’ve seen the dentist once who talked me through everything and made me feel at ease. I then booked two appointments with the hygienist and to say I was nervous is an understatement, she was brilliant, I’ve not seen a hygienist who I’m not scared to go back to. She made sure I was comfortable, only did things I was okay with and has given me the information and tools I need. I’ve come out of my second appointment on 31.08 feeling soooo confident, I feel like I can smile again. I’m actually excited to go back and see her in two month. 100% recommend for people who are nervous/anxious. Everyone is brilliant. From the receptionists to the nurses, the dentist and the hygienist. 10 out of 10.

I recently broke the corner off one of my back teeth and so went to see my normal NHS dentist who told me I needed a crown. This was going to involve about 1.5mm being drilled off the top of the whole tooth, a mouth full of putty to take an impression followed by a temporary crown fitted that may or may not last the two weeks it would take for a metal crown to be made. I would then come back for a second visit to have the crown fitted. That's a lot of drama for someone who is a wimp in the dentist's chair. I had read about Cerec treatments that are a same day fix alternative to crowns and asked my NHS dentist whether he could do this. Sadly not. He didn't have the necessary machine and stuck by his advice. Faced with this impending course of action, I decided to visit Bridge Dental Smiles to ask Dr Simon Bromley whether there was an alternative. Having examined the broken tooth, Simon was very respectful of my former dentist but was concerned they were proposing to cut away lots of healthy tooth just to fix one corner. It was just unnecessary. Simon explained that the best course of action was to have a Cerec fitted so we made a single appointment to have done in one visit. In the chair I warned Simon I had always been a bit nervous of dentists and was a wimp when it came to pain. I need not have worried. Simon explained exactly was he was going to do every step of the way. On the other side of the chair was his dental nurse Hope. She was great too and is obviously a mind reader of Simon because she always seemed to have just what was needed when it was needed. I don't know anyone who is a fan of injections but Simon used a small swab of local anaesthetic on the area before injecting me. It was probably the least traumatic injection I've ever had in my mouth and at my age, I've had quite a few. After that, it was a breeze. No white knuckles, no arched back in the chair, no eyes wide open like saucers. This was different. After preparing the tooth Simon used a special camera linked to a computer that plotted the typography of gap where the break had happened. Pointing to the screen, Simon then explained how the computer was now generating an image of a perfectly fitting Cerec to fill the broken area. Having matched the colour of a cube of porcelain to the rest of the tooth, the cube was then put in a computer driven milling machine. Some minutes later, a small piece of perfectly formed porcelain was ready to be fixed in place. Incredible! The whole process was pain free. How good is that! What's more it was all completed in a single visit. I'd post a picture of the fixed tooth but you wouldn't be able to tell it from the others so there's no point. The whole team at Bridge Dental Smiles is friendly and caring. They seem to get on so well with each other too - a really good atmosphere. So thank you Simon and Hope for using a Cerec to fix my broken tooth and saving me from having to have a crown. If only all dentists were like you.

Really friendly team, do their absolute best help out even in emergency situations at short notice. Definite improvement in my teeth in the two years I’ve been with the practice - and generally a bit of a laugh and joke with the gang every time I visit. Reckon they’d be very, very hard to beat!

I hadn't been to a dentist in years and they reassured me through my anxieties and gave me loads of advice. I would like to say a big thank you to Dr Sabah for the kindness and understanding that she has shown to me over the last couple of years . I had decided that I wanted to keep the ageing process at bay for as long as possible so with much trepidation I went along for a consultation . I say this as I have a fear of needles and I didn’t want to end up looking silly at my age with over filled lips etc , I need not have worried as from the first time I met Sabah she listened to exactly what I wanted , which was to maintain a natural look , and look the best I can for my age . This I feel we are achieving on our journey together and after this last lot of treatment I feel I shall be looking the best I can for my next Birthday (70) It is not a quick fix , and not for everyone as I have said it’s a journey with carefully planned treatments tailored to the individual . I can only say that for me it’s been very worth while . Going to someone who you can talk to , and who puts you at ease , with excellent follow up checks is a must for me . So Dr Sabah thank you once again , look forward to seeing you next time x😊

I would highly recommend this dentist, I've been with the bridge for quite a few years had different sorts of treatment and they have been great 👍, but this last procedure has been especially nervous for me, as I have had to have a implant done, i was absolutely terrified in having this and Jorge has been absolutely fantastic he's been so careful and understanding with my journey, and over the months I've had the best possible care in every step of the way, and today I've finally had the last procedure the implant being fitted, which i am so pleased with it. So I would like to say a huge thank you to Jorge and all the staff for their kind support in helping me with my treatment.

As a family, we change to this dentist about 8 years ago from a dentist Newport and the difference between the two is quite apparent. All the staff are extremely friendly, efficient and polite. The two ladies on reception do their utmost to accommodate you with the earliest and most convenient appointment possible. Simon Bromley the dentist is very dedicated and skilful. He never rushes any treatment and is always very particular. The Hygienist is brilliant as are the various dental nurses. If you are thinking of a change then don't hesitate to give this the dental practise. Edwards family.

I can honestly say that at bridge dental practise you will be greeted with a very warm welcome from a highly professional team. I have been a patient at this practise for many years and have always had a good experience when going for a check up with the dentist or for a clean with the hygienist.
