Had a new dentist was very friendly and so fast and efficient. Managed to have a small filling and was offered the choice of no injection, which was my preference. Was a bit concerned not having my old dentist but needn’t have worried. My only gripe is having to wait a long time before my next treatment, but other than that great service.

Lovely receptionist and nurse. New dentist to me who was polite if just a tad condescending who only performed some of the check up routines. Also didn't ask if there had been any changes to my medical history etc. Not that there was anything important to report, but there could have been. I was out in less than 5 minutes! With my old dentist you would have received 5 stars plus.

Got the the dentist at 11:15 and wasn’t seen until 11:45, got told that there was a shortage of dentists and there was only 1 dentist on the premises. In my opinion if they couldn’t cope with the amount of people that had booked in they should’ve let their customers know in advance that there would be a long wait!

The practice has changed considerably in the last year under new management therefore turnover of dentists high and unsettling. I'm disabled and have a disabled badge but the disabled space outside the practice is used by management therefore my daughter has to drop me off, settle me in and go park. She's my carer and I can't walk unaided. We have spoken to management but they just say ask and we will move but they don't and it's caused a problem. The old practice was better.

I drive out from East London to this small village in Hertfordshire, in order to sort my dental care as I find this practice outstanding. The dentists have always been kind, sensitive and efficient with my upkeep. The hygienist, Natalie is absolutely brilliant, provides really useful / practical advice for resolving any issues arisen and updates you step by step when carrying out the hygiene process on my teeth which is comforting. The reception staff are always helpful on the phone for appointments and most warm and welcoming the moment you walk through the door. I will be continuing my out of London journey to this great Dentist! 5 STARS *****

From the welcoming receptionists to the professional dentists and nurses, this is a lovely practice and I have had enough work from various dentists over the years to feel qualified to comment. I have always had an irrational fear of the dentist, and was pleasantly surprised at how Dr Anishka Gunawardene spoke to me and treated me. Anishka was so patient and understanding, talking me through the entire check up/filling process, knowing I was nervous. She was very kind and reassuring, really putting me at ease, being such a nervous patient. She seems like a really lovely dentist, and has made me feel a bit less worried/scared about the dentist! I also had an appointment with the hygeinest, Natalie, who was also really lovely! She spoke me through the entire cleaning process and gave me tips and advice on brushing correctly, etc. She was very chatty and bubbly, which really put me at ease. I am extremely happy with my experience so far!🦷😊

The four dentists we have had over that time have always been caring and gentle, and particularly good with the children. The Reception staff are always pleasant and welcoming. The introduction of new technology such as on line booking and text reminders has been very useful too.

On Tuesday I had an appointment with the hygienist. She was a lovely,friendly young lady and made me feel extremely at ease. I was offered for the first time, local anastetic as I was having a deep clean and I didn't feel a thing, she even gave me something before the injections to numb the area, again I did not feel a thing. She explained everything she was doing and what areas I needed to be aware of and how to clean my teeth properly. I always hated visiting the hygienist, as I found it so painful as my teeth are very sensitive, but not this time and I look forward to seeing her again. Her "bedside manner" so as to speak, was impeccable and I would highly recommend her. I also saw Carys, as Erika was away and she was lovely too and did a thorough examination and took X-rays so that the hygienist knew exactly where to concentrate. I cannot praise her highly enough and I must mention both their assistants were very professional and friendly too. From me they both get 5 stars. Thank you girls.

I travel from our home in Cheshunt to the practise as they are so wonderful All the staff are amazing, they are patient and take time to explain everything. Just started my course of treatment for Invisalign. Erika has been brilliant any questions or worries you have are answered very well which make you feel at ease. I was very surprised at how quick it all happened from going in for a consatation to having my first tray fitted. They’ve been on for two day and I’m very surprised at how comfortable they are. I can’t speak for long term as yet but very happy so far. If you’re looking into Invisalign I would highly recommend Erika.

I have been having Invisalign treatment with Erika since April 17. I have found everyone at Much Hadham to be very helpful with any questions. Erika is always on hand to help and regular check ups are made throughout the process. I am so happy with the progress made so far and can't wait to see the finished results in June 18 (51 aligners required!!!!). Highly recommend Erika and the team if you're thinking of having Invisalign treatment cannot fault them.

I cannot recommend Much Hadham Dental Practice, and in particular Erika, hughly venough. I and my children, and now grandchildren, have been patients for years. Erika is kind, understanding, professional, experienced and very knowledgeable. I have just completed a course of Invisalign invisible braces and I am delighted with the results. I am a particularly difficult patient as I am a very nervous patient who at times can be a challenge! Erika and her staff have always been nothing but patient and understanding.

I'm not entirely certain I should be describing a visit to the dentist as 5-star but as visits to the dentist go it's ummm, 5-star. Having had a couple of emergencies lately (you know the ones, excritiating toothache over the weekend with painkillers not working) Erika has always seen me as soon as possible and prevented me from banging my head on the wall. Very thorough and great care. I had always had trouble free flawless teeth but 8 years of bare minimum check ups and only interested in the money treatment at oasis dental in stortford left me with a root canal fillings and an unfinished cap. Much hadham have taken us all on as NHS patients when oasis kicked us out claiming it was a government contract thing that meant we HAD to go private and we are now thoroughly and carefully cared for by the group of hardworking ladies on much hadham high street. A couple of the receptionists scare me a bit sometimes but the most important thing is the high standard of the dentists.

Now then, this is a dentist - and the experience is always going to be a bit dentisty. So ignoring the sharp things, and the x-rays and stuff, it's not bad. Nice place, in a nice village with nice people and wi-fi. So it's 5 stars and way better than a Manhattan dentist I went once. Carys might even be my favourite ever dentist, especially since she likes F1. Highly recommended if you're looking for a dentist. For a day out however, Brighton's probably a better bet.
