I visited Dentalessence on the 10/08/22 for my dental care. I was given a warm welcome at the reception and the reception area was very immaculate. All the staff I got in contact with were very cheerful and helpful. Above all, the dentist and the nurse attended to me were very gentle, caring and provided me with loads of assurance to over come my anxiety. Best place to be, will always refer my family and friends .

Like everyone I am not a fan of the dentist however Dentalessence in Worthing are great. I often chat with the reception staff both before and after appointments and they are all really friendly and helpful. I regularly see the Hygienist Claire who makes it feel like your seeing a friend you haven't seen for a while and she helps to relax you during the appointment. Lastly I saw the Dentist Mary for my checkup just last week for the first time and she is hands down the best Dentist I have ever seen. She was amazing from start to finish and i will be happy to see her for all my upcoming visits.

I managed to get a same day appointment with the hygienist due to a cancellation. They were easy to find with good access to parking. The staff were polite and welcoming. The hygienist was great, she was friendly, professional and thorough about my medical history. The cleaning was very good and I walked away satisfied. Overall an excellent experience....

Called with an emergency. Spoke with Robyn whom found same day availability. Adrian was the dentist with whom I consulted. Resulted in a tooth extraction. Adrian explained the process, was very reassuring and gentle. All aftercare materials were supplied and instructions given verbally and included with materials. I found all staff to be polite, courteous, efficient and professional (A rarity these days). Registration was simple with a link sent via email. Price list included with registration documents. In my experience I was happy with the service received and on that basis would have no hesitation in recommending them.

I'm a very nervous patient, but as soon as you walk in the door at Dental Essence you are put at ease. Dr George and his nurse Jessica were fantastic and for anyone as nervous of dentists as me, I would definitely recommend asking for them. They just make your visit as easy as they can, with warmth and compassion.

Dental Essence are great! I had two teeth extracted… which is pretty scary and Adrian was super cool about the whole process. Always checking I was comfortable and could stop at anytime. Not that I’d recommend you have teeth removed but if you do have to, Dental Essence will take care of business.

Registered with Dental Essence as my old dentist was going to start charging for my childrens check ups. This one closer and more convenient opening hours (open some evenings and Saturdays which my old dentist wasn't). All the staff really lovely and friendly, excellent dental service. I need some work done, the dentist showed me my X rays and photos of my teeth, explained what had happened and my treatment options. No pressure, lots of smiles. Excellent 👌

I never looked after my teeth as a kid, or in my 20s, and on into my 30s. By the time I had money and the will to think about it, they were messed up. My 40s and 50s contained many sorrowful and painful moments at various dentists having 'work' done. Since I moved over to Dentalessence, they've fixed up my mouth. They are kind, patient, generous in spirit (they never make me feel ashamed or bad about the horrors in my gob). I've been treated with extreme gentleness and as much bloody anaesthetic as I want - which is generally a lot. Bring on those injections and numb my whole head up, please! (Each to their own - I know some people hate the needle more than the drill.) Honestly, the dentists here are lovely people and genuinely committed to patient, slow, pain-free dentistry. And the desk staff are great too.

This is the first dentist I have been to, where the reception team are so helpful and don’t make you feel that your call is an inconvenience! They are lovely. As someone who is anxious at the dentist, the dentist and dental assistant did their absolute best to make me feel at ease and didn’t become impatient or ignore my anxieties. To top it off, he managed to do what was a complicated, almost too far gone filling at the front that looks so natural, you wouldn’t know it’s there. I've been coming to Dentalessence for sometime now and as someone who has a real fear of dentists (due to really bad experiences when I was younger) I now won't go anywhere else. I always see Izzy when I have an appointment and that guy is absolutely awesome!! My last 2 appointments have been short notice, as I've had tooth pain due to a dental condition, and I've been able to see Izzy at short notice (both involved tooth removal), although I was really worried about the visits, Izzy made the whole thing very bearable.

My family and I have recently made the change from another local Dental practise to Dentalessence as our previous dentist refused to refer our 14 yr old for a brace. We are all without exception so pleased that we changed to the Dentalessance Broadwater practise . Our Dentist Shal is amazing - she is totally professional, very caring and gentle and explains everything concisely and clearly. Cannot recommend the practise enough....... from the greeting as you walk in from the reception team to the dental assistants that assist the dentists - everyone is happy and welcoming and the practise exudes positivity. The hygienist is lovely as well :) if you are dissatisfied with your current dentist and they are not meeting expectation (and you live within range of this practise) then we could not recommend this practise enough. I had my first wisdom tooth extraction on Tuesday at Dental Essence, I was a little nervous when I was waiting but as soon as I entered the dental room the lovely dentist made me feel so at ease and relaxed! She took the time to talk me through what she was going to do and how it would feel. The procedure was very professional and quick! I was in and out within the hour and I didn’t feel a thing! I was eating normally that same evening and still have no pain from where the tooth was. Thank you to all the staff and the lovely dentist for making my experience so easy!

The clinic is very covid friendly and I felt safe at all times. The hygienist and dental assistant were friendly and professional, although I feel more attention to removing calculus build up from the backs and gaps of my front teeth as I can still feel some there. My teeth don’t feel as clean as previous times I have visited a hygienist.

Every aspect of the practise is geared to making their patients comfortable and relaxed even when undergoing complex treatment. I recently joined Dental Essence in Worthing. This was after several bad experiences with my previous dentist in Rustington who were rude, unhelpful and also questionable in their ethics and advice as well. From calling and registering to check-up, advice given and treatments received, the service has been fantastic, friendly and professional. Would 100% recommend Dental Essence, who could have imagined friendly reception staff and dentists who speak and chat with customers rather than grunt and make you feel like you are inconveniencing them (that's before they leave you an hour plus past your appointment time in a waiting room with no explanation or recognition that its bad service.

Dr Mina Messiah and the dental nurse were fantastic. I am a very nervous patient and they were both lovely, explaining everything they were doing and ensuring that I was OK. I still don't like dentists as a result of childhood experiences but I can now tolerate them due to their patience and kindness. I definitely wouldn't change my dentist.

From the moment we walked in we felt "safe"! ALL the staff were lovely and remembered us from our last (our first) appointment. Everything was explained clearly and we did not feel pressured into having any treatment we did not want. Izi was AMAZING with our younger children, aged 3 and 4, and they LOVED their visit. Equally my more shy and nervous 17 and 23 year olds love it too, as I did. We spent our last appointments just laughing- is that a normal reaction to a dentist visit!?!?! Hahahha! It has taken us a long time to find a dentist we really trust, literally years, but we have finally done it! It was my 1st time here and I was very impressed. Debbie the receptionist was really friendly and welcoming and the whole place felt very covid safe, with screens up, sanitiser available and everyone wearing masks. My dentist Izzy, was really kind and calming, and checked in with me throughout the treatment to make sure I was okay. The nurse Charity was also really friendly and reassuring, making me feel very comfortable. Deniesse and Meena who also assisted with my treatment were great too. Overall, the whole team were really lovely and I left feeling very confident about my smile. Will definitely be coming back, really enjoyed the experience (which can’t normally be said about a trip to the dentist)!

I had a double abscess on a previously root filled upper premolar, which split vertically. After a course antibiotics the tooth was to be pulled out. However, the extraction failed; the crown of the tooth crumbled and fragments were levered off, and the root remained in situ just below the gum line. It was not completely pain free, so I called a halt because I wasn't able to tolerate any more. Another tooth got broken in the process. I found the procedure very traumatic. But, I next had to return to an oral surgeon to take over and have the root surgically removed and I was given an appointment 2 days later. I was terrified and almost chickened out in the waiting room but I knew the root had to be removed so I braved it out. I needn't have worried! The surgeon put me at my ease straight away and talked me through what was going to happen. We had a good discussion about anaesthetic and he ensured I had exactly what was appropriate for me in terms of ingredients and quantity. The procedure went like a dream, was completely painess and was completely successful with no complications. I was very impressed and immensely relieved. This surgeon is top class 👏👌🙌 and and I am very grateful for all his care and support that I received during something very stressful for me, and I'm thankful for excellent dental surgery. Also the nurse reassured and encouraged me sensitively and that was very helpful. Thank you.

Wonderful service. Having put up with a missing filling for over month. I called dentalessence literally last minute on Friday evening, I was booked in for 9am on Saturday. I have been using Dental Essence for many years for hygienist treatment snd found it to be excellent (see previous review) Today I was fortunate enough to see Lith one of the dentists. Lith was very friendly, confident and professional and put me at ease. One doesn’t enjoy having a filling replaced but I was amazed - no pain at all afterwards. During the procedure I was well numbed and completely comfortable. I now have a smooth, white filling, much better than my previous one. The nurse (sorry I didn’t catch her name) was also excellent and I must also say that the reception team are also consistently wonderful. Recently, I've had to make several visits to the dentist. I hadn't been in a while as I have a phobia about dental treatment. Someone suggested I try Dentalessence. So I did. From my initial consultation to the planned works discussion and commencement of treatment, it has been absolutely brilliant. I always receive great treatment at Dentalessence. I have always been happy with my visits. Usually, the dentist cleans along my tooth line for me, as there is always a little plaque, despite my cleaning them regularly. I saw a new dentist, who didn't do that, and told me I had to pay £58 to see the hygienist. Now that I've retired, I can't really afford to do that often. Apart from that, I have no complaints at all. I have just been for a further check-up, and was concerned to see that they had closed their toilet facilities for patients due to Covid! Sorry, but we still have to go to the toilet during the pandemic, and we are paying a lot of money to visit this dentist. I think it is appalling to treat patients like this, and will not be visiting them again until the Covid restrictions are over, if at all. After all, if I go into Costa to get a £3 coffee, I can use their loo!

I don't know if i managed to hide how nervous i actually was that well. But after 10 years of not seeing a dentist, the thought of any kind of surgery was very unpleasant and i was certainly not looking forward to the ordeal to begin with. I had bad memories of painful braces in my teens that i used to dread going to get tightened each time. Although i have not had anything drastic today i was pleasantly surprised at how smooth, quick and relatively pain free today's minor work was. In my mind i was imagining all sorts and at each point bracing for new sensations only to be surprised by the fact that there was nothing new to actually fear. Even if today's treatment needs a return visit for the problem and a more drastic option taken i am not feeling anywhere near as anxious about returning as i first was. I had to book an emergency appointment at Dental Essence Worthing, as I couldn't get back home to see my regular dentist. I hate going to the dentist, and I'm a worrier, luckily I saw Vas (or Dr Vasilis Charalampidis). Once I had bombarded him with my incorrect self-diagnosis, he very calmly asked if he could have a look himself. After a thorough examination and an x-ray, he explained what he thought was going on. He was very understanding of my nerves and seemed genuinely interested in my dental history. The examination and X-ray's cost £22, which is brilliant value; I had called a few other dentists in the area to get an emergency appointment and they all cost around £50. I'm so relieved I saw him; he has put my mind at rest. He was professional and helpful, suggesting that I arrange a root canal when I get back home, but that there was no immediate issue with my teeth or gums. I'd have no reservations in going back there again, all the other staff were friendly and very helpful.

Within half an hour the dentist had called me and again apologised for the mix up, she arranged for me to collect antibiotics , thank goodness as it was a Friday eve and the pain was getting worse. I am happy to say I am now without so much pain due to having the antibiotics. thank you to both the dentist and the manager and will be back soon for the bridge that I now need. Debra Archer I had a broken tooth for a while which hadn't caused any problems until a slight chip came away which caused toothache. I had an emergency appointment costing nearly £50 and was told the tooth was unable to be saved and it needed to come out which was another £210, I felt I had no choice as I was unable to register with an Nhs dentist. 3 days later my mouth is throbbing and I am concerned an infection has set in, I called the dentist only to be told it will cost me nearly £50 for the dentist just to look at it, I refuse to go there again as I feel £260 already is enough to pay for 10mins work of extracting the tooth. I am now looking for another dentist who will just look to see if I have an infection. I will also need to find a dentist to do a bridge at a later date. Debra Archer
