I’ve been with Fresh Dental for about a year now and I can’t recommend them highly enough. In that time, I’ve had my teeth straightened with Invisalign, teeth whitening and two check ups and two hygienist visits. The team are great - experienced, knowledgeable and professional. They provide great advice and I’m delighted with the results. I always feel they have my best interests at heart and they’ve earned my trust in a short period of time. It’s a really friendly team too and I can imagine they would be great at putting anyone at ease, who is nervous about a trip to the dentists. A particular shout out to Jenny and Elaine. I’ve lived in the UK and overseas and this is the best dental practice I’ve been to and I’m not prone to exaggeration!

I was very nervous about receiving the treatment as I always am however the lovely calm environment of this practice and the patience and reassurance from the staff really put my nerves at ease. It's clean and everyone is super friendly, and there's ample parking too. Back in April I started to get pain in my jaw due to an impacted wisdom tooth that had unfortunately caused an infection. After an extremely painful 3 weeks and being let down by my (now previous) Dental Practice on a number of occasions I decided to look elsewhere for some emergency treatment. I called up Fresh Dental after a Bank Holiday weekend and they fitted me in for an emergency appointment that same day!! The whole team were very sympathetic, kind and supportive and offered me an emergency surgical extraction that same night alongside a course of treatment to help stop the infection. The team all stayed late to get me sorted and I am very grateful! I am so thankful for the support I received from the team, so much so that I have now left my previous Practice and have become a DenPlan member with Fresh Dental! As far as treatment goes I have so far only had the surgical extraction but from just this experience I 100% would definitely recommend to others if they are experiencing the same problems and are after a supportive Dental Practice! 5/5

I'm always a bit apprehensive about going to the dentist because I always know what the response will be: "You need to floss your teeth" but I never end up doing it because I don't know HOW or WHY. Just returned from a hygienist appointment with Jenny and she fully informed me and demonstrated on me how to floss my teeth properly and what to expect whilst using different types of flossing equipment. I left the appointment feeling so positive about my teeth, which is such a weird sentence to say but wow. As soon as I got home, I told my partner to also make an appointment with her! I'm usually afraid of dentists but after going to Fresh Dental Smile Clinic I gained more confidence and was very comfortable during my visit. They had to numb me up but I honestly did not even feel the needle. The doctor was such a lovely person and the receptionist was also very sweet and helped me book my appointment at an appropriate time as it was an emergency and I was in pain. I initially was booked in just for an emergency appointment and for a check up only, but the doctor refused to let me go before treating my tooth despite the busy day they were having! They were very cautious about coronavirus as they were literally sanitising everything appropriately and social distancing was properly maintained.

Amazing service! We had a dental emergency when a 7 year old in our care had an accident and knocked their adult front tooth out. Despite being a loyal patient elsewhere they refused to treat this until the following day when in these cases time is of the essence to ensure that their adult tooth is retained. We ended up here who made this their priority - offering fantastic emergency treatment to ensure that the front tooth was reinserted and splinted within an hour of the accident happening, maximising the chance of success. They were also incredibly reassuring and gentle with the little girl, she hadnt even known she had got an injection! Within 30 minutes she was out, smiling with a splinted front tooth and happy as can be. Absolutely wonderful place and we will be recommending these far and wide.

I had one row of 6 month smile braces fitted in January, and just had them removed this week. Due to Covid they took longer than 6 months but the practise was very understanding with the issues that arose from the COVID situation. I am under the care of Dr Sharma and I cannot recommend her enough she is AMAZING. The care she provides is fantastic as she is caring, kind, considerate, highly knowlegeable and genuinely cares about customer satisfaction. I do a 2 hour round trip to visit this York dentist. Like most people I do have anxiety around dental work so you will be put at complete ease by Dr Sharma's kind and caring approach. Denplan is great as it's preventative so I know regular visits, cleans and check ups will alleviate future problems as much as I can. Do use or try this dentist if you are looking for one to use as they are the best (before I had tried many and will never use the NHS again after many horrendous experiences). I 100% recommend Fresh Dental Smile Clinic to anyone with a dental phobia. 2 months ago, I was absolutely terrified of going to the dentist. Even the word "dentist" would make me feel panic-stricken and dizzy. I had never been to the dentist before in my life and had neglected some of my teeth resulting in a large build up of tartar. Finally I decided that enough was enough - I no longer wanted to be controlled by my phobia and wanted to improve my oral health. I chose Fresh Dental Smile Clinic after searching online for dentist practices in York that had experience in treating phobic/anxious patients. With trembling fingers, I typed out an email requesting an initial consultation, explaining that I had a dental phobia, and pressed send. Believe me, that was the most difficult part of this entire experience! From the moment I got in touch, the treatment I have received has been fantastic and I have been treated with warmth, kindness and respect. I received a warm, friendly and sympathetic reply from the receptionist Elaine, who immediately made me feel at ease with her professional and kind attitude. I then had my initial consultation with Dr. Jenny Kabir, who was very kind and listened as I explained exactly what my fears were. She explained the next steps and I was then booked in for my next appointment. My actual treatment was done with Dr. Shafaq Hussain, who specialises in phobic patients and has been absolutely incredible. She has always explained exactly what each treatment session will involve and has been exceptionally kind, gentle and friendly. She has made me feel fully in-control and relaxed, and each time I went to see her, my anxiety levels reduced more and more. I have just finished my treatment and am over the moon with the results. This Dental practice is amazing and in my opinion the best practice at making you feel at ease, listening and taking on board the treatment you want, with realistic timescales and costs which are generally lower and far more in line with patient expectations. I came across this practice following extensive research to reduce the gaps in my front four teeth. I visited numerous dental practices in Manchester and York, however I wasn't entirely comfortable with the treatments or costs involved, with what appeared to me to be a fairly straightforward problem to resolve. Freshsmiles dental clinic is different from the minute you walk in the door. The receptionists and dental nurses are friendly, very welcoming to me and my children. They were very good at entertaining my son whilst I had discussions with the dentist. Jenny Kabir is a fantastic dentist, approachable, warm, friendly and most importantly excels at what she does. Following a thorough assessment, she gave me a range of options to consider. Aasim was also present during my appointment and was very helpful with ideas, as well as having the same friendly approachable outlook as Jenny. I would highly recommend treatment with either of these dentists. Following my consultation, I chose the option that suited me. Because of the level of care, attention to detail and regular appointments, my teeth were 'corrected' within 3 months. After being told it would take approximately 12-18 months by other dentists, I was absolutely amazed at the quick and fantastic results. I'm from Bradford but I was staying in York for a couple of days and developed really bad pain in my tooth. I tried everything from paracetamol to clove oil but nothing worked. I found a dentists in the centre of York but they were unable to see me as I just walked in off the street but I was advised to go see fresh dental smile clinic. I got there and the previous dentist had rung ahead which was really helpful and when I got there the receptionist was really helpful and polite and I was asked to fill in the medical questionnaire which was very standard and straight forward as others sometimes require your whole life history. I was seen very quickly by the dentist (Jenny) who was really friendly and made me feel at ease as I was in a lot of pain. I had an infection and needed an upper wisdom tooth removed as it was impacted. I'm not a fan of going to the dentist but if I lived local and needed treatment Id be calling here first. Lovely staff, clean and to say id walked in off the street to be seen and have treatment in under and hour and be pain free I couldn't put a price on it. I could not thank the all the staff enough.
