Z. E.I have been with The Avenue Surgery for 14 Years, the Doctors are fantastic, and some of the receptionist are helpful. But, there one receptionist that refused to give me the service i needed, after she was gasping at me, intimidated and lied about my tone because i explain her behaviour and she hang up on me while i was left in pain on my leg, i had to call 111 for support. The fact that i work in A&E, and PICU, I wondered how many people have silently cry the way i did on that...May God help BME community.
L. V.I have been with this doctors practice for 27 years. The doctors are fantastic, compassionate and caring. You can always see a doctor the same day, and the addition of the online booking service ensures this. My advice to older patients who may not be able to access online or maybe have got an old style (old technology) phone, is to ask a family member or friend to help them. For anyone unhappy about this practice, I suggest they change to another, and I guarantee that they will be begging to go back and re register. I wish people would appreciate how kind and well run this practice is, well done to all involved.
J. G.Never had a problem obtaining an appointment. Reception staff always very helpful. Great support from GPs, although I nearly always see Dr Hacking. Have been with the surgery for years. Long may it continue
J. N.Best surgery ever been with my son needed an appointment when he was a few weeks old the surgery i was with at the time refused to see him because he didn't have a birth Certificate phoned up the avenue surgery and they saw him the same day
L. B.Despite all the negative reviews, I still went in to sign up as a new patient, since it is by far the closest surgery to my flat.
The receptionist I spoke to was lovely, and I didn't have any problems at all signing up.
So far no complaints from me, but I'll see how it goes.
K. B.Probably the best surgery in Brighton! The receptionists are friendly, appointments are available quickly (most of the times) and the GPs are very caring and provide an excellent service. Oh, and there's free parking nearby too! :)
L. J. P.A few years ago I left this surgery when Park Crescent had its massive revamp. Stupidest thing ever. Regretted it pretty soon after. Have been back with The Avenue since last year and they have been fantastic. Receptionists included.
