I have been in the care of Doctor Chen for many years now, I have initially been recommended this place by a fellow musician as we tend to have pains and aches due to the profession. Professional treatment, kind listening ear, talented hand, this clinic also complies with covid 19 regulations and the communal points like chairs etc are covered with plastic and temperature is taken upon entrance. The acupuncture is known for its benefits, but it very important, rather crucial, who is delivering it to you. I went to see Dr Chen after I had two failed pregnancies from two FET transfers from my ICIS (IVF) cycle. He advised Acupuncture and Chinese tablets for the first 3 months before my next FET Transfer. I was over the moon when I found out I was pregnant. I never thought it would work in a million years as the past two pregnancies were a failure and had this anxiety it, will be negative again, but no, it was POSITIVE. He also advises continuing the treatment for another 16 weeks to avoid miscarriage. I’m now 19 weeks pregnant and so happy. Everything is going well. I would highly recommend Dr Chen for all ladies; who are having problems conceiving and going through IVF (ICIS). He is very knowledgeable and; a very humble doctor and, there are no sales tactics of purchasing treatment in blocks. He will advise you what you need, and it is up to you to take it aboard.

I have severe depression and anxiety.Firstly, I was treated in another clinic in glasgow, but after 2 month my situation even became worse which I think even more aggressive and cannot sleep well. My mother has been seeing Dr Chen for over 20 years now, mostly for musculoskeletal pain and issues but also for general health. She has both acupuncture and chinese medicine treatment and find both of them highly effective in relieving her symptoms and pain that western medicine has unfortunately not been able to assist with. Recently I have suspected acute inflammation in my knee causing me unbearable pain leaving me unable to bend my knee and could barely walk. The GP was only able to suggest Ibuprofen & painkillers to relieve the symptoms temporarily and then I was on a phone appointment waiting list for 2 weeks so my mother suggested Acupuncture with Dr Chen. The first day of treatment was a bit painful and for 2 days after the treatment my leg was still uncomfortable. However the 3rd day onwards my knee had drastically improved and I was feeling much better than before. I have since received another 4 sessions of treatment from Dr Chen and find them highly effective in reducing my pain and discomfort symptoms in my knee. My knee is almost back to normal now, I believe it should fully heal with some time and I cannot thank Dr Chen enough for helping with this. Covid esp sore throat can benefit from herbal medicine. Got covid in the middle of February suffered a lot at the start of few days from sore throat. I was recommended to Dr Chen through my friend Laura. We had been trying for a baby for 8 years had 3 failed ivfs the best embryos and no success. We had one embryo left in the freezer so went to see Dr Chen in September 2020, I have severe stage 4 endometriosis, so he put me on a combination of herbal tablets and acupuncture once a week and I had to change my diet due to my endometriosis. After finding out that I had premature ovarian insufficiency (extremely low ovarian reserve) at age 33 I was genuinely devastated and shocked. We went to see 2 different fertility consultants who recommended IVF and said a natural conception was highly unlikely. My wife had suffered two failed pregnancies before attending Dr Chen's clinic, he is highly professional. We went for twelve visits over three months and got the herbal medicine too. I first went to see Dr Chen as I was having panic attacks and anxiety and not only was he able to help with this, he also gave me a course of treatment for a stomach problem that I have had for nearly 15 years. After the first few sessions my symptoms had completely gone. When I suffered from back pain (before and during my pregnancy) I didn't hesitate to go back to Dr Chen and I even went for a session of moxibustion to induce labour! To the ladies out there who are struggling to conceive I would highly recommend you visit Dr Chen at the Hui Chun Clinic. I first went to see Dr Chen a few years ago after numerous failed ICSI & IVF treatments. I was ready to give up hope of ever becoming a mum but after reading his article in the paper I thought anything was worth a shot. He was very professional and understanding and prescribed his wonderful tea (Chinese Medicine) along with acupuncture once each week. I'm not going to lie the medicine wasn't the best taste in the world but you do get used to it. After a few months of treatment Dr Chen told me I was ready to try another (final) cycle of IVF which I did and couldn't believe it when they told me I was pregnant. I became so used to getting negative results but now it had actually worked. Dr Chen advised me to continue with treatment until I was between 13 to 15 weeks to reduce the odds of miscarriage. I had a beautiful baby girl and went on to have a baby boy one year later. I am now back at the clinic 4 years on in the hope he can help me one more time. Dr Chen is a miracle worker and I cannot recommend him enough.

I've visited the Hui Chun Clinic over the past five years, for different reasons and I highly recommend it to anyone. Dr Chen is highly experienced and enjoys his work. I have visited Dr Chen for acupuncture and for herbal remedies when my immune system was low. I was very pleased with the results and recommended it to my friends and family. The clinic is very well equipped with various herbs and treatments. The shop is reasonably big and has a relaxing atmosphere. Also, if you are learning Mandarin, this is a good place to visit to practice during treatment :). I have visited Dr Chen twice recently for two, different legs, calf tear injuries and I am very pleased with the results. I am not a person easy to impress and I have been sceptical about Chinese traditional medicine until I have tried it and seen the amazing results. I have tried it twice in Korea for muscle strains that have vanished in a few hours after more than a week of pain. Dr Chen seems very honest, and despite my initial fears to needles I do feel he really knows what he is doing. I think he is very wise and has a great knowledge in many different fields, despite being on the quiet side, so he is not going to show off everything to you with long explanations. He will go straight to what he thinks you need in order to recover from injury/pain. Dr Chen treated me with acupuncture on my two legs for calf tear injury (both of them!). This was done in two separate months as I injured one leg after the other one. I barely could walk when I had the first acupuncture session. I felt worse (this is normal) the same day, but the day after I felt a very big improvement. This was not luck as I experienced the same for all the sessions and the same feeling for the other leg a few weeks after. Overall, the acupuncture sessions have reduced my recovery time to 50% of what the NHS doctor was predicting. I am now visiting a physiotherapist to build up muscle and avoid incurring the same injuries again, but when it comes to healing, Mr Chen magic needles do a fantastic job. I can’t recommend highly enough Dr Chen’s clinic, but be warned that you will need to book in advance as he is very popular, which says it all. Many thanks Dr Chen!

Both my husband and I had had various tests via the NHS and had been told that our only option was IVF. I was really reluctant. After so many negative pregnancy tests, I’d become pessimistic and highly emotional about trying to conceive. The herbal treatment is prescribed in alignment with your menstrual cycle, and within 2 weeks I got my first ever positive ovulation test. I always felt refreshed immediately afterwards, and slept like a baby for the nights that followed. There’s no denying that the herbal tea smells and tastes awful.. like a bush tucker trial 😂 I’ll never forget the smell, especially because it’s engrained into one of my cast iron pots which I’m now keeping as a souvenir in the loft. I continued with the twice daily tea and weekly acupuncture for three months until I went on a fortnights holiday at the end of May. Soon after I returned home, I got my first ever positive pregnancy test result. I’m writing this review almost 15 weeks pregnant and can still hardly believe it! I’m eternally grateful to Dr Chen. If you’re thinking of trying Chinese medicine, I say go for it.

I did some research and seen Dr Chen had been in the papers after treating a couple that were unable to concieve. After i read and saw pictures of the many babies he had helped to concieve on his website, i knew i wanted to see him. Even when you walk into the clinic there are many lovely stories and pictures of previous patients he has helped. It gave me hope! I had no regular menstrual cycle and went through 3 failed IUIs and a failed IVF. I was desperate at this stage and was willing to try anything. I seen him weekly for Acupuncture and he also prescribed me dried chinese herbs which i had to boil 5x a week and drink twice daily. I must admit, it was not pleasant to drink but i was determined to stick to it. I took these concoctions to work by using a flask to keep them warm for hours, that was definitely a convenient way to drink them if your not always at home. After about 3/4 months i was pregnant! My husband has been seeing Dr Chen for acupuncture over the last 5 weeks. He had had a very problematic cough for several months. He literally coughed most of the day. He couldn't utter a sentence without coughing through it. He was getting increasingly breathless. He is slim and quite fit so it was quite concerning. At times he was having to sit down to catch his breath. He went to his GP. They gave him antihistamines as they felt it was allergic rhinitis. However they didn't help. We found out we were pregnant and Dr Chen adviced is to keep coming for Acupuncture but now once a week, until my wife was 17 weeks pregnant, as this reduces to odds of a miscarriage. I visited Dr Chen 2 years ago (I know I'm a little late in reviewing!) and will be forever grateful to him. I have a crown on my front tooth and after having an abscess in it twice I only had half of the tooth root left (if you have an abscess on a crown the dentist can't drill into the tooth to drain it, it requires hospital treatment to get to the abscess through the gum above the tooth. I had this done twice). A number of years later I had another abscess (thanks to a poor fitting crown) and was told I would neither need to replace the crown with a bridge or a dental implant. A bridge would require drilling down 2 healthy teeth and a dental implant, not available on the NHS, is incredibly expensive. As a last resort I decided to try Chinese Medicine as surely all I need to do was get rid of the infection but modern dentistry doesn't allow for that. Dr Chens medicine, which I drank twice a day for about 7 weeks, cleared the infection 100%. Two years down the line I still have my 'half root tooth' and a lovely new crown. This wouldn't have been possible without Dr Chen's magical medicine.

I attended Dr Chen for acne as I had been referred to a dermatologist who said the only thing that would help was roaccutane and after looking into this drug further and seeing the damage and side effects and frequent suicides from it decided I definitely didn't want to put that in my body and my family have attended Dr Chen over the years for many different ailments so thought I would give it a try.
