I had 3 small procedures done at Altruderm back in March 2022 and I cannot recommend them enough! The reception and surgery are spotless and the procedure itself took no time at all. The price was very reasonable for what I needed done and easy to pay at the reception. Julie was very kind and reassuring at the front desk (as I was very nervous) and Dr McDaid had no problem at all identifying what was wrong and the best way to remove it. Everything was explained to me very clearly all the way through, from the consultation to the procedure itself. If you have any health concerns that your GP won’t help you with I would 100% recommend Altruderm.

I recently had a 5 year old cyst removed from my neck at the Altruderm clinic and would highly recommend. As someone who is a little nervous of going to the doctors, Dr McDaid and Julie made sure I was relaxed, reassured and properly informed at every step along the way. I visited for an initial consultation and returned just two short weeks later for my procedure which was carried out flawlessly. Dr McDaid then called a couple weeks later to confirm my pathology results. Two months on and my scar had healed up nicely to the point it's hardly even noticeable. My only regret was leaving my cyst for years and not coming to the clinic sooner.

I had a great experience at Altruderm, I had 2 moles removed from my face. The only mild pain I felt was the numbing injection. The mole removal was totally pain free and the recovery was also pain free. I am delighted with the results. Highly recommend, I attended Altruderm for removal of a cyst and some moles. A great clinic to attend, very warm, welcoming and inviting. The level of patient care is excellent from the initial consultation right through to post procedure follow up. Didn’t really know what to expect as hadn’t done anything like this before, but after the NHS couldn’t help me I decided to give it a go. All I can say is I wish I’d done it sooner! Julie and Dr McDaid are really friendly and approachable and made me feel at ease. The procedure went really smoothly with great follow up and advice. I had some lipomas removed from my arm . I'd highly recommend Altruderm for this procedure. Julie and Dr McDaid are very professional , knowledgeable and courteous. I had no pain whatsoever from the ops, not even from the injections of anaesthetic. Follow up, after procedure is second to none and I will have no hesitation in recommending altruderm, and using again.

Update. After previous treatment three years ago I posted the review below. I returned recently for removal of a small growth (seborrhoeic keratosis) on my face and my high opinion of Altruderm was confirmed. In addition a high level of diligence regarding coronavirus infection prevention and control was evident. They are also genuinely nice people and I would have no hesitation in recommending them. Previous review. I have been very happy with Altruderm throughout the entire process (appointment booking, consultation, surgery, follow-up assessment). The signs of treatment were not immediately obvious after 1 week and hardly noticeable after three weeks, with further improvement expected over the next 2 – 3 months. I have found Altruderm to be friendly, professional and highly competent. Information and options have been clear, the timescale from first contact to completion of treatment short, and the atmosphere in the clinic is pleasant.

A very positive experience despite my original concerns about having moles removed from my face. I decided to go with Altruderm as they offered radiowave surgery which others did not and their website provided good information on the procedure as well as a clear price list. The clinic itself is extremely clean and professional. Both Dr McDaid and Julie made me feel welcome and comfortable in a lovely peaceful environment. The consultation was detailed, without pressure and all my questions and concerns were answered. The procedure itself was pain free and I couldn't believe how quickly and well the wounds healed. Again I was reassured and made to feel comfortable throughout the procedure. I was also given good information and products to use for my aftercare and they offer out of hours advice should you have any concerns after the surgery. The aftercare was also good as they took time to check the healing properly and discussed the pathology results with me before giving me a copy to take home. All in all a very good professional service with a friendly and personal touch. Delighted with the final results too! Would highly recommend!

Very impressive, modern clinic, complete with the latest equipment, set in a discreet and lovely location. Both Julie and Dr Kieron McDaid provide a very professional and friendly service. I had noticed an unusual mole on my leg and Dr McDaid gave me a full assessment which was very worthwhile and reassuring. I also did not have the worry of a potentially long wait for a hospital referral, following a GP appointment... Dr McDaid utilises the latest dermatology technology and following a quick and painless biopsy of the "suspect" mole, the results were back within a week. I then had a review appointment for Dr McDaid to carefully and concisely explain the results and my treatment options had it been more sinister - thankfully that was not the case! This is something that I would urge anyone who has any concerns about moles to get an assessment as soon as possible. Thank you Julie & Kieron!
