I have been attending Essence Medical for a number of years now and I cannot rate Dr Bong any higher. From my initial consultation, it was clear that Dr Bong was exceptionally knowledgeable about aesthetics and gave me advice about the treatment I was seeking. I was most impressed when he advised me about treatments that I thought I wanted/ needed and said in fact they wouldn’t give me the desired outcome or the difference would be so minimal that they wouldn’t be worth it. It’s rare to find someone in this field, who actually advises against treatments and doesn’t just do anything you ask. I honestly would not go anywhere else for my treatments - Dr Bong and Essence Medical are fantastic!

I’ve had Botox done in various different places including beauticians and dentists and I was never happy with the result. Despite specifically asking for a “brow lift effect” I would always end up disappointed. I decided to book Dr Bong and see if he could give me the “lift” effect I wanted. He was able to achieve this first time and it was also virtually pain free compared to the Botox I had done at other practitioners. I would definitely recommend him to anyone considering getting this procedure done.

I first met Dr Kieran Bong 5 years ago when I came for a free consultation for a jawline reduction treatment with Botox. Immediately I was struck by the doctor’s kind, caring and professional manner that I have never encountered anywhere else outside of his clinic. At the time, I couldn’t affor the treatment. However, I remembered that day for a great number of years. It took me time to go for this treatment as it meant a commitment to keep getting Botox regularly for the rest of my life. As someone suffering from bruxism that runs in my family, it was hard admitting to myself that this condition had affected my life and powered my anxiety. Also, it was hard to understand that my my rounder face shape wasn’t natural. Rather, it was a result of a disorder 😞. In early August 2019 I decided to go for this treatment. I was happy that the doctor recognised me and had records of a consultation from ; years ago. He took time to explain the procedure and carried out the treatment efficiently with no discomfort on my side. The results were visible in a month and shocked most people who had not seen me for a while☺️. Since then, I had two more treatments (roughly every 6 months). I can finally see my cheekbones ❤️. Furthermore, a week ago I decided to get a chin filler with Dr Bong to elongate my face even more. The result was so natural and just what I asked for. It is not easy to find a professional who understands clearly what look the customer prefers. I truly believe that there isn’t a better doctor for me anywhere else. I will keep coming to Dr Kieran Bong for all my treatments. I’ve been to aesthetic clinics before. However, I’ve never experienced so much support from any other professional. Moreover, Dr Bongs innovation, experience and knowledge speak for itself. He is creating art every day, with every treatment.

I recently visited Essence Medical for a skin peel. The procedure was carried out after a full consultation with Dr Bong, who calmly explained the procedure and gave clear direction to me on appropriate aftercare. I would like to respond, as a patient of Essence Medical, to the comments made by Sharon Rio in her review. In my opinion that review is completely unfair and not representative of the Essence Medical team: the staff are always very clear on the booking/cancellation policy with me, and always stress the importance of patients being on time for their appointment (even more so at the moment to comply with the clinic’s procedures in light of COVID-19). It is not unreasonable for a service provider to expect people to be on time for their appointment. If one is not sure how to get somewhere then they should allot extra time to get there. Further, if one is unable to attend an appointment or late (for whatever reason), one cannot expect to be seen when they do appear. Every business needs to work to a schedule, and to expect otherwise is simply unfair. All of the team at Essence Medical are true professionals, and simply ask that we patients attend our appointments on time, and treat staff with the same respect that we expect ourselves.
