My family and I have been using the surgery for the last 3 years. The staff at the reception is always polite, calm and helpful. They always find slots when there’s something urgent. The nurses are wonderful and caring. GPs are outstanding – very attentive, always doing their best job to help people. This surgery fairly deserves 5 stars. All my family is registered with Deptford Surgery and we absolutely love it. From the front desk to the practitioner everyone is so helpful and friendly! Today I had an appointment for my 1 year old and Dr. Harry Lemon was excellent! He’s not only an excellent profissional, with great knowledge but also so friendly - both my daughters loved him! He made sure she felt comfortable and happy before observing her and even allowed me to listening to her breathing (such a lovely touch ❤️). He explained everything so well and went extra mile to make sure we had a great care - Thank you very much! ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT! This is the best doctor's surgery I have ever been to, and I've moved a lot - within and outside of London (and the UK!). All of their regular staff, from their receptionists to their medical team, are quite clearly highly trained. They are personable, clear, knowledgable, efficient and very reassuring. Everything that is said or done makes sense and processes have been thought through to offer the best support. For years I went to Deptford Medical Centre, just round the corner. My boyfriend and I were baffled by the doctors' apparent lack of medical knowledge (I'm pretty sure we saw all of their doctors over the years), the illogical reception team, and the truly appalling bedside manner of the main doctor, but because we had never had particularly good experiences with GPs before, it took our daughter's birth, and a very shonky post-natal exam, for us to finally switch. They are WORLDs apart. Anyone who comes to Deptford Surgery can feel confident that they are getting expert advice and, as far as I'm concerned, an unparalleled standard of service (yes, I have even had some private healthcare).

Very friendly staff and prompt communication. The online access is very easy for booking appointments and seeing medication/test results. The surgery personnel changed since I registered to my GP 3 years ago and the new staff are definitely very helpful and give very clear instructions. Very good doctors, kind, organised and helpful reception staff and efficient people working throughout. I can't rate the staff at Deptford Surgery highly enough! I had to attend the surgery for a daily dressing change at the height of the pandemic, and the staff were amazing! This is the best surgery I have been to, bar none, and I have been to a quite a number, having lived in various parts of London over the years. The receptionists are exceptionally polite and helpful and the doctors are extremely professional but also are patient, listen and are very proactive in securing any further treatment required at hospital. It is, in short, a highly professional outfit but one as well where the patient comes first, and I could not recommend it highly enough.

The staff at Deptford surgery still give prompt response regardless of the pandemic just like pre-pandemic. Mohammed filled a form for me that was presumed to take 2 weeks in two days. Also, thank you Harry ( the paramedic ) for giving me same-day appointments during the pandemic twice and third time with the doctor. Doctors at this surgery are nice especially Dr Hadden. Dr Hadden is a very kind, caring doctor who never been brusque with me and she is someone who cares about patient physical well being as well as their mental health. 👍 Can’t recommend Deptford surgery enough as the receptionist one of them been Susan are very friendly. 👍 patient off ten years testimony.

Not one for reviews but the service I’ve had from here has been amazing. First of all I moved to the area and needed my surgical stitches out within 2 days, all other GPs told me to go to A+E (surely a waste of resources). Not the blonde lady (sorry I didn’t get your name) behind reception at Deptford surgery, nothing was a problem for her - booked me an initial appointment with a HCA who took out my stitches afterwards. Secondly, I had an appointment with a doctor who was amazing and really took her time. Edit: I’d just like to give an update as of 3/12/2019. I still maintain that this is a 5 star surgery. They simply have some fantastic staff behind the scenes. Dr Hadden is amazing. I’ve now had a second surgery, and they provided amazing care for my second surgery just like the first. I can’t recommend them enough. Easy problem solving by email, truly a modern surgery.

Nice staff and a wide range of services available. But, as with most practices around the country, they’re quite busy. So it can take a week and a bit to be seen.

I had a new patient appointment today and arrived 20 mins early. I went to reception to check in, they asked my name and then I was told to take a seat. Over an hour later I still had not been seen so I went back to reception. The receptionist then said it was my fault for not checking in, and was insistant that I had not come to see them. Laying the blame with me rather than admiting they had made a mistake is unprofessional and rude. The waiting room was not busy and they could clearly see me waiting for the whole hour. This is not a good first impression on the level of service I am going to recieve as a patient here. In contrast, the nurse I saw was apologetic about the wait, and professional.
