Dr Martin is a rare find. He’s the best GP I’ve ever had (and I’ve lived in a few countries). He’s sincerely kind, extremely easy to reach and has a immeasurable lovely character. He doesn’t just excel medically but he is a true gentleman. He takes the time to make me feel reassured and looked after and that’s what I need when I’m sick - to be listened to attentively, given the right advice and follow up. And he does all this genuinely and with consistency!!! I feel like I’ve known him forever. Booking takes me less than a minute, literally, and during Covid, he made the time to speak to me on the same day I needed him and he prescribed & arranged for my antibiotics to be delivered on the same evening. Extremely reliable! He also goes above and beyond to recommend just the right specialist to suit not just my medical needs but my character. Having the right doctor is life changing so I cannot thank you enough for being so amazing, reassuring and there for us especially during my pregnancy, birth and post birth, it’s made a HUGE difference! I just cannot recommend him enough! The list of things he has done for us is endless.... Don’t hesitate to book him if you care about receiving world class medical care because you will be amazed by how different he is to the rest of the doctors out there!

Dr Martin Is an extraordinary GP, he is kind and compassionate and extremely skilled at putting patients at their ease. He listens carefully to what you have to say and those things left unsaid then asks insightful questions before responding thoughtfully with a diagnosis and plan of action. As others have mentioned he goes beyond what’s expected of a GP; wanting to get to know the person to ensure you feel supported throughout. I have never before experienced this level of care. I recently scheduled a general health check-up with Dr. Saweirs, and as a person who experiences a bit of 'white coat' syndrome, my visit to his office dispelled any nervousness I had. He listened thoughtfully to my questions and didn't jump ahead to conclusions before allowing me to finish. He provided answers that clearly demonstrate his expert medical knowledge. I had a blood test done and received a detailed report from Dr. Saweir's explaining the results. Any further questions I had, he promptly answered. I also have a mysterious and irksome issue with my foot and have seen other specialist dr's the past 2 years to hopefully address the underlying cause of its persistence. No medical solutions have materialized because I don't think the contributing factors were identified. Dr. Saweir's provided an analysis that was much more practical and consistent with my problem. and identified the separate, but compounding issues. This is the expert advice I needed to finally resolve this issue. In conclusion, whether you are seeking general care or you have a more specific issue you can rely on the 2 things - Dr. Saweir's is an incredibly kind and attentive GP, and he will provide you with medical advice you can trust.

Dr Martin offers the most professional service and as much as I’d rather not be poorly, every time I’ve seen him his diagnoses is spot on. As someone with a health anxiety I sometimes see many doctors so that I have more than one opinion. Dr Martin Saweirs is the most professional, most experienced and most dedicated GP I have ever attended. I have had a health complaint for a number of years now and most GPs have been unable to help fully. Dr Martin Saweirs paid close attention to all my symptoms and arranged a comprehensive diagnostic plan to fully investigate all of my symptoms. He arranged all the diagnostic appointments promptly and arranged for the only the best consultants in London to conduct the investigations. After the results came through he very carefully explained the test results in great detail carefully highlighting anything that had a particular bearing on my health. It's very rare for a GP to take the time and effort to explain the test results at a level a patient can fully understand. I would highly recommend Dr Martin Saweirs as for me personally he is an excellent GP. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is seeking a GP that is highly dedicated to his patients wellbeing as well as someone that takes the time and effort to go through your symptoms fully and determine the required diagnostic and treatment plan that you require.

As a tourist in England I’m extremely grateful to find Dr Martin Saweirs. It’s been said Norway has the best healthcare, but then you haven’t met this guy! At my first appointment I was met by a welcoming staff, and a relaxing waiting room. I was offered water and magazines, but in a blink of an eye it was my turn. Dr Martin is always on time. With a firm handshake and a big smile, he introduced me to his office. After my first meeting with him, I never could rate a GP’s skills and warmth as good as his. Topics from IBD,mental health, rheumatism, skin diseases, the female body to my personal struggles. If I’m unsure he has all the testing to treat whatever the issue may be. His awareness, advices and the genuine interest of my/the patients welfare speaks for itself. Dr Martin is incredible! Calm and reassuring, yet up to date and quick. Nothing is off topic and even as a shy person I can ask anything about everything. If you need to see a doctor, look no further. Wish we could bring Dr Martin to Scandinavia!

Although we live 200miles away Dr. Martin in our GP. He has looked myself and my sons over the past few years. I am from the states but now live in London. On a visit back home, I caught what seemed like a standard cold. By the time I returned to London however, I had developed a nasty cough accompanied by green phlegm, mild chest pain and excessive fatigue. By the time I realized that I had more than a simple cold, it was already Thursday. I tried contacting the GP I set up when I first moved to London, only to find that his earliest appointment was not for another week. Desperate to see someone, I went online and booked an appointment with Dr. Martin for the following Monday. To my surprise, I woke up to an email from Dr. Martin on Friday. He had read the symptoms I described while setting up my appointment online and was contacting me to see if I could come in that day instead, since I would likely only get worse over the weekend. I had a commitment that I could not cancel but luckily Dr. Martin was able to fit me in at the end of the day. My visit was simply one of the best experiences I have had with a doctor both here in the UK and back home in the states. The front desk staff was very welcoming and helpful when I first arrived. Dr. Martin’s bedside manner was refreshing - professional, thorough, warm and caring all at the same time. He took the time to ask in-depth questions about my symptoms and even to learn about my travels and why I had moved to London. My visit was just as long and efficient as any appointment I have ever had in the states, but it felt as if I had been seeing Dr. Martin for years. I’m so happy that I have found a doctor that I can go to should I ever need during my stay in London. As for my symptoms, Dr. Martin spotted them right away and if he hadn’t reached out I would have been miserable at the very least, if not worse. He quickly diagnosed a lower respiratory tract infection and prescribed a short course of antibiotics. After a stop at Boots on my way home, I started the antibiotics that night and woke up feeling loads better. By Monday my cough and chest pain were practically gone. While I was still a little low on energy, I was relieved to be getting back to my normal self. A few days later, I needed an official invoice for my insurance. Dr. Martin responded to me in less than 10 minutes! This man does it all! If I could give Dr. Martin 6 stars, I would. He is thorough, efficient and quick, and has a warm and caring manner. All of which indicate to me that Dr. Martin genuinely cares about his patients and their wellbeing.

Dr Martin Saweirs is a fantastic GP and got to the bottom of horrific chest pain that had gone on for over 4 months and even after 4 visits to A&E, other doctors could not work out. I contacted Dr Martin and spoke with him at length on the phone. He made himself available for me to see him at short notice as the pain was so bad. He spent time to listen to my complicated medical history. He suggested an upper GI surgeon who I seen within a few days and then my Gallbladder was taken out within another few days. No more chest pain, visits to A&E, I am completely cured. The aftercare has also been amazing. Dr Martin scheduled me in for a consultation at very short notice. I have been suffering from a very bad throat infection for days and was really let down by my local NHS GP. The first NHS doctor I saw gave me a generic antibiotic to treat the infection, after 4 days of antibiotics and worsening symptoms, the second NHS doctor refused to take a throat swap because of, and I quote, "possible SEVERE side effects associated with taking throat swaps". At that point I knew I had to go private. Martin really took his time to listen and ask questions, he examined thoroughly and prescribed appropriate tests not to mention very effective treatments. I was extremely impressed when I received an email from him a couple of days after the consultation to check on how I was doing. He reassured me that he could easily be reached if I had any questions or concerns.
