I am a Quantity Surveyor for a local authority. Following the circumcision of my 7 day's old son for cultural reasons, here's a brief observation of my experience at the Hayley Clinic in Whitechapel led by Surgeon Dr Kamrul Hasan. Customer service: it was second to none! Staff were receptive, approachable and respectful. Procedure: It was carefully performed with great care and precision in the presence of myself and my wife and there were support staff to aid the safety of the procedure. This was reassuring, as they all knew what to do while as a parent, I only observed. Facility: The operating room was very clean and sterile, it couldn't have been any better. Furthermore, the reception and toilet rooms were clean and in great condition. Parking: There is suitable parking on street, particularly over the weekend and the location was easy to find. Having gone through two previous procedure with my other son's, this is by far the best we have experienced. Thanks to everyone one at the clinic and would definitely recommend.

As a qualified Social Worker I understand the importance of duty of care and safeguarding. I also work by guidelines of values and ethics in order to provide a fair and respectful service. I believe Dr Kumrul Hasan at The London Circumcision Clinic, Harley Medical based in Whitechapel uphold these same practice principles and values. Mr Hasan is professional personable and provide a respectful service. He provided in depth details of the procedure which was reassuring and made me feel confident that I had chosen a competent person to administer care for my 7 days old son. On 9th January 2022, I observed prior to my appointment that other babies who had their procedures were not crying and that my husband and I, as well as other parents were relaxed after the procedure. The clinic was clean and organised, the wait time in the waiting room was short and their staff were polite. I appreciated the brief procedure and excellent customer service. Dr Hasan had suitable staff support to ensure the procedure was safe, he explained and provided after care service which gave me great comfort as a parent. I would highly recommend and will tell all my friends and family about the great service I received from Mr Kumrul Hasan. I am grateful to the staff at The London Circumcisions Clinic and happy to update that my son was fully healed in about 5-6 days after the procedure. From my experiences at other establishments with my other two sons, this was by far the best!

I am a doctor at Barts Health NHS Trust (Anaesthetist) and work alongside surgeons on a daily basis. Dr Kamrul Hasan is a work colleague of mine and I have regularly conducted operating lists with him. I know him to be an utmost professional and is an excellent surgeon. It was therefore an easy choice to make where to take my twin boys for their Circumcision. I also had recommended Dr Hasan in the past to family, who also used his service. I can’t praise the service enough. Dr Hasan answered all my questions, which was important to me as my twins were born premature. We had our 4 month old's circumcision in the London Circumcision Clinic. The clinic is organised, clean, and the procedure was quick and very professionally done. They have a separate room which can be used for breastfeeding after the operation and they allow both parents in the operation room which was really helpful. Our son's ring fell on the 14th day and during this time we had to ask few questions via e-mail which were always answered promptly. We definitely recommend Dr Kamrul and his clinic, and thank him for the great job. Only feedback would be that they only accept cash, and it is not very convenient, especially during Covid times when no one is using cash anymore but only contactless payment. The booking process can also be improved.

Although he had a bit of pain on the first day, it was manageable with paracetamol - we also used the numbing/cooling gel that we brought from the clinic which helped (we brought 2 extra tubes - didn't really use it, I think one or two tubes of this gel is enough). I was looking for a clinic that would deal with circumcision and one that could take my son with a clear conscience without worrying about complications. After reading the reviews, I decided to go the procedure with Dr. Hasan and I can confidently say that the decision was right. Professional team, the doctor answered each of our questions. My 3-month-old son didn't even cry during anesthesia, the healing process was quick, very good e-mail contact, which was important to me because we are not from London, so if I had a question I wrote an e-mail and within 20 minutes I had an answer at the latest. I am satisfied and I highly recommend it.

Had such a positive experience at The London Circumcision Clinic. I was extremely nervous prior to the procedure for my son , however Dr Kamrul Hasan and his team put me at ease and made the process comfortable for both my son and I. We had a wonderful experience at the London Circumcision Clinic. We spoke to alot of different private doctors before finally going ahead with this clinic after speaking to Dr Hasan over the phone who sounded very reassuring. Dr Hasan went through every detail with us and answered all our questions very patiently. I was very worried about the procedure as my son was nearly 4 years old and so would be aware of everything going on. Dr Hasan and his team made sure to not frighten him and performed the circumcision in minutes. They were professional and competent. Upon our arrival we were immediately set at ease by the warm welcome from the staff. Coming from outside of London, we were quite anxious as we hadn't been able to see the clinic beforehand. However, it was extremely clean. The doctor has a wealth of experience and kept both us and our baby calm - no easy feat! The aftercare explanation is very thorough and we appreciated the consultation video sent out beforehand as well. My only suggestion would be to give three tubes of numbing gel to patients instead of two. I'm sure people would be happy to pay for the third tube. Overall, I highly recommend this clinic!

24 year old male. Wanted to have a circumcision for aesthetic reasons and I found the full experience extremely pleasant. Dr Hasan and his staff was very helpful and gave great advice post surgery. I got the Stapling Device method which has been shown to make the procedure cleaner and easier. I was suprised with how quick and painless the procedure went as pain is generally everyone’s concern. There was slight discomfort for the next 3 days after surgery but it’s definitely manageable and 3 weeks later it has healed really well and I can now return to physical activity and I have had the staples removed. Highly recommend for adults who are worried or traumatised about getting a circumcision. 5 star for me!

As a first time parents we were nervous to say the least, asked many questions as one would do. On the phone while booking they were happy to answer and didnt feel rushed. On the day, Dr explain the procedure clearly and answered any questions we had, specially about how we know baby wont feel pain if he cries and us not knowing if he is scared or in pain. Clinic is clean and service is professional. Baby did not cry as he is comfortable around others, he did not cry during procedure which was all we wanted. After care was good as they call us to check up on you and offer advise. I am a Senior grade nurse at Barts NHS trust that does surgery my self quite frequently. My son had his Circumcision at 5.5 months and I was so happy to be in such a clean and safe environment. The Doctor, DR Hassan, made me feel at so much ease, as I was quite anxious as he is my first baby. The after care for me was absolutely great. There were a couple times where I felt quite anxious and worried about the appearance and healing. I chose to have a circumcision after my 28th birthday and found Dr Hasan. He performed a surgery for me under stapling method 3 weeks ago, and the result is perfect now. It was really important that I selected the very best as my wife is from a culture and background where circumcision is not practiced. She is from Japan and I am from Morocco. I wanted everything to go smoothly from A-Z. The reason I chose The London Circumcision Clinic (at Harley Medical) is for the following reasons: (1) It has the HIGHEST SAFETY profile of all the Circumcision Clinics in London according to its CQC ratings (2) A large cohort of Healthcare Professionals have used this service and have endorsed it - if they think it’s one of the BEST CLINICS in London for Circumcision I can only agree with them having used them and (3) The Clinic houses State of the Art modern facilities and equipment, you feel you are in a Private Hospital. The procedure was very smooth, from the initial greeting to the administration of the local anaesthetic to undertaking the Procedure. Special cauterisation equipment was used to minimise the bleeding. The procedure was swift and quick with minimal effort. You could tell that Dr Kamrul Hasan is a skilful artist when it comes to Operating, and more importantly is one of the most gracious and humble Surgeons I’ve come across. He is effortless in his communication and articulates everything superbly. All post operative instructions were laid out coherently with plenty of opportunities to ask questions. The fee of £200 is excellent value for money and I would not hesitate to recommend this service to others. People from far and wide come to use this service and it is abundantly clear why. I’m sure this service will go from strength to strength and The LCC will set a benchmark for others to follow.

I had my son's circumcision done at 13 months. I was very satisfied with the service the clinic provided. Dr Hasan provided a a very detailed consultation prior to the procedure during which he fully explained what would happen and most importantly the after care with what to expect. Dr Hasan knew what he was doing and we felt in safe hands. He had three assistants with him during the surgery. Our little boy was 6 weeks old, he was very good on the day of the surgery and recovered very well over the following 7 days. This is the second time i used this service for my children. My first experience was with them 5 years ago with my first born son. I was nervous being a first time Dad as was my wife, but the explanation, process and aftercare we received from Mr Kamrul Hassan was at all times reassuring, professional and excellent. I come from a medical background as a Consultant Anaesthetist in the NHS and so had an understanding of the process beforehand, but Mr Hassan made a special effort to spend time talking to my wife and reassure her. We also had no problem in getting in touch with him in the post-op period when we had questions about our son's individual case. We were so impressed with the service that we had no hesitation in going back with our second son. Again Mr Hassan was the same professional, reassuring and technically excellent operator that he was when we first went to him. Again when we had another question about our son's aftercare in the post-procedure period, he responded to our email in a speedy manner giving us sensible and reassuring advice. The service he provides is excellent and priced extremely reasonably. I understand that the clinic will be moving to a new and bigger location which i'm sure will be a great improvement as the waiting area at the Cann Road site is very small considering the popularity of the service.

The clinic was very professional and brilliant in the technical procedure on my sons circumcision. Dr Kamrul Hasan was very clear and gave a very lengthy group consultation before the actual procedure to give clarity and smooth assistance. My son was only 3 weeks and hardly cried whilst there, was also given advice post circumcision for the healing process. I sent an email to Dr Hasan the following day for advice and got a prompt response. Would highly recommend for newborns, toddlers and young kids. Thanks!!!

This clinic was recommended by one of our midwifes at Whipps Cross Hospital. I was less than impressed on arrival as the waiting area is tiny and everything seemed a little disorganised. The advice not to bring any other members if the family other than mum and dad seemed to fall on many deaf ears and I think the clinic should be stricter on this as there really isn't the room. However, the staff were friendly, the surgeon was very clear and concise when explaining the procedure and very efficient when it came to carrying it out. Appearances can be deceptive and I would definitely recommend this clinic. Thank you all.

Although upon arrival we were a little dubious due to the outdated decor, lack of staff/reception desk present and how packed out the place was, our overall experience was positive. Staff were friendly and the main doctor was very informative and professional. We were informed in detail of the procedure and aftercare. However if it's your first time going there, be warned about the waiting time. The entire procedure only takes 20 minutes (including the anaesthetic injection) but the waiting time took a lot longer than an hour. Whilst waiting we were able to witness kids of varying ages coming out pretty happy and pain-free from what it looked like, including my 10 week old baby who was almost falling asleep at the operating table. So don't be fooled by the outward appearance, these guys know what they're doing. Was extremely pleased.

We drove 2.5 hours to get here as we wanted to be sure our 4 week old son was in safe hands and we have no regrets. All the staff were extremely professional our son did not even cry during the procedure and seemed to be in minimal pain, even without calpol as we were provided with gel to apply which has local anaesthetic in it (you can buy this beforehand on amazon it’s called instillagel). On the 8th day after the procedure the Plastibell dropped off. We emailed 3 times in the 8 days and always received a prompt and helpful response. Would definitely recommend this clinic. Thank you.

My son developed complications a week after the circumcision, Dr Hasan responded within hours of emailing him and gave telephone advice on seeing photographs, and offered an appointment for face to face review a day later. He dealt with the complication and my son has made full recovery. I am really pleased with the professionalism of Dr Hasan and his team, and the quick response on asking for review. We have just had our 4th boy circumcised at the LCC. I've had my previous 3 son's circumcised by Dr Hasan too. I did find centres close to me that offer a circumcision service, however, I preferred to travel from Luton to London knowing that I'm in safe hands. I visited + spoke to Dr Hasan prior to the 1st operation. During the visit I was reassured to see the volume of patients using the service and how things were conducted. At the time I also checked that he is a NHS surgeon and that the clinic is regulated by the Care Quality Comission (CQC). I would recommend Dr Hasan and the LCC In Leytonstone, East London as I have nothing but praise for the service. There is also enough staff at hand to take care of your child. Parents can sit back and and watch. Parents are allowed to be in the treatment room when the procedure is undertaken.

Good service, but personally think it's too expensive. £140 for a 3 month old baby boy, when the operation took only five minutes. Need to improve booking system and maybe consider a new place as the waiting room where we waited for almost two hours was very cramped. Staff are friendly and informative.
