Been going to this surgery since I was a baby! Dr Vardhan has become a doctor/person that I rely on and trust. She's helped me through a lot, and is a great/easy person to talk to. I used to be someone who just got on with things, and didn't go to the doctors often. Which just meant I ignored problems until they became huge. But now whenever I have an issue, I always ring for Dr Vardhan as I know that she takes what you say seriously and works with you to overcome any problem. Always get seen really quickly, and never had an issue with appointments. You're involved in your own care and the decision making process. Can also use the MyGP app, which I've found really helpful for when you're suffering with anxiety and can't make phone calls during that period, you can just select your appointment and write a brief message. This has been a great tool. Only concern is confidentiality in regards to the reception area. I often hear details about other people, which I try to ignore or block out. But I heard my mum being discussed by first and last name and the medication she was on, even that someone had spoken to her on the telephone in regards to her prescription. It's made me quite anxious about my own details being shared, as well as my families. I think the waiting area should include a barrier where people have to sit/stand behind, to give people at the desk room to speak, as the seats are right beside the desk. A reoccurring issue I used to have was prescriptions. Sometimes it was my fault, and sometimes it was the practices (for one reason or another e.g. It hadn't been requested for the doctor to sign or I'd handed it in too early and it wasn't processed until it was late). But the past few months I've had no issues, I don't get worried about my prescriptions now, because I know they'll be sorted. Would recommend anyone to see Dr Vardhan or Dr Khatri at this surgery.
