I have now had a couple of procedures carried out by Dr Farjo at his clinic in Manchester & I have had an incredibly positive experience on both occasions. Dr Farjo & his team are far superior to some other clinicians that I've dealt with & their skills set & artistry are second to none. He also listens to any patient concerns & tries to address them. Would highly recommend The Farjo hair Institute above any other.

I had 2 FUT treatments 4-5 years ago and can't recommend Dr Farjo and his colleagues enough. Before having the treatment I did a lot of research and visited a couple of other UK clinics. It was not difficult to make the decision as the team were so professional, knowledgeable and friendly, treating me as an individual who they were genuinely keen to help. When I met Mick (client manager) and then Dr Farjo I was impressed with how honest they were about what could be achieved, and I was under no pressure at any time to proceed. During the procedure I was very well looked after by Dr Farjo and all the team, and felt I was in very safe hands. I can only say that the results of my 2 HT's have been amazing, and the clinic was excellent in following up with me after to review the outcome and make sure I was happy. I made an excellent decision by choosing to have the procedures done at Farjo Hair Institute and would recommend this without hesitation to anyone else.

My experience with the Farjo Clinic was excellent. Before I had visited the Farjo Clinic, I'd been to several other hair transplants Clinic's around the north-west (Manchester, Liverpool), all of them couldn't compare to Farjo's. The first thing that hits you with the Farjo Clinic is how spotlessly clean everywhere is, from the reception to the operating theatres (Please don't forget this is a surgery you're having so for me this was important not only for the success of the transplant but for my health). The level of professionalism, friendly approach of the whole team is very apparent from the start. I had a consultation with Mick (Great Guy), and very informative, we discussed realistic expectation which was refreshing and implemented an action plan. There wasn't any hard sell tactic unlike some I could mention who tried to have me handed over my credit card before even discussing my hair loss. I had my surgery done by Dr Farjo, who was excellent; my results were better than I could have hoped. The people who knew me before hand can't believe the change it's made to me. Having a natural full looking hairline has gave me my confidence back. Like many who are reading this review looking at surgery, please before you make your mind go and visit the Farjo Clinic, I can assure you won't be disappointed.

I have had 3 procedures now at Farjo, two FUT strip surgeries and one FUE. I was completely bald at the crown and had a very receded hairline at the front which I had become quite self conscious about. The restoration work Dr Farjo has done has given me a result i never believed would be possible when I began this journey, I am genuinely thrilled and so glad I chose him. I can genuinely say Farjo offer a great service, welcoming & friendly staff that put you at ease. Looking at the photos taken before the initial procedure and then the photos two procedures later, well they say it all... I would say it has taken at least 10 to 15 years off the way I look, from a balding and thinning pate to pretty much a full head of hair. Very professional service and in Doctor Williams hands be reassured he knows what he's doing! The results are truly amazing...I now have a head of hair I had in my mid twenties. I can honestly say the best money I have ever spent. Highly recommended !!

I cannot thank Dr Farjo and his team enough . From the first meeting with Mick I knew that I was in good hands and had made the correct decision . Micks professional manner and his teams approach was 100% . The surgery was easy and very pleasant . It was may I say a little relaxing . Superb! first class service from an incredible team. I cannot thank them enough. I had a FUE procedure last week and the whole experience was flawless. After 4 years of hair loss and 18 months of research I finally decided to have an FUE hair transplant at Farjo Hair Institute in Manchester. 3 weeks ago today ,following initial postponement in April due to the global pandemic, I had my procedure with Dr Bessam Farjo and his amazing team. I cannot tell you how well I was looked after from start to finish on the day during a very long 12hr procedure. All the team, following my initial consultation back in February from Cheryl, Emma , Bessam and all the hair technicians were so welcoming and professional. I knew I had the right company from the moment I walked in. It is obviously too soon to talk about results but I have every confidence I will be happy in time when my hair starts to grow. Dr Farjo will not tell you what you want to hear, he will tell you the truth! This is all anyone can ask. For anyone thinking of a transplant please be wary. I visited 2 other companies beforehand who only wanted to talk about money. They will prey on your vulnerability. If you dont see or speak with the surgeon before hand then be very wary of signing up with any of these companies. Bessam also talked to me about the importance of taking Finasteride and using Minoxodil etc which I am taking and using with no side effects. Thankyou Farjo hair for looking after me and treating me as a patient rather than a customer.

This may seem like a strange review, since I never actually had a hair transplant with Farjo. This is based on the integrity and honesty of the organisation following a consultation with Mick. I had been to a number of consultations with other clinics prior to Farjo who tried to coheres me into a transplant through fear. The other organisations said I should have a transplant now in order to stop my hair loss getting worse. Alarm bells started ringing since it felt very much like a hard sell. The research I had conducted showed Farjo as one of the UK leaders, so I knew I wouldn’t make a decision before visiting the Farjo clinic. During the consultation, Mick advised that it currently wouldn’t be the best time for me to have a transplant and to instead stick with medication first. There was no sales tactics to try and make me purchase the medication from Farjo, and I felt confident they had my best interests at heart rather than trying to make a quick buck! I will definitely be back once I’ve been on the medication for 12 months to see if I’m A more suitable candidate then. Thanks again for the honesty.

I first visited the Farjo clinic in the early part of 2016. The consultation was very professional, with questions around why I wanted a transplant and what I have been doing to slow down/stop the hair loss up to now. Understandably they need to ensure you’re doing it for the right reasons. As it happens, I hadn’t done anything at that point. I was, quite rightly, told that the time wasn’t right to go ahead with a transplant, without first stopping the hair loss with medication for at least a year. Although this wasn’t the answer I was hoping for at the time, the truth made me trust that the Farjo Institute had my best interests at heart, and wasn’t just in it for the money. After a year, I made another appointment and was happy to find out that I’d sufficiently stopped the hair loss enough to go ahead with surgery (the medication also makes your hair much thicker and stronger, needed for surgery). This will sound odd, but surgery day was perhaps one of the best days of my life – because I was doing something for myself that I’d wanted for a long time. Everyone at the clinic was warm and friendly and put any apprehension quickly at ease. It was a full day affair and, other than slight initial discomfort whilst numbing the hairline, there was no pain (I actually fell asleep a few times!). Before I knew it, the procedure was over and I had a new hairline! Over the next week or so I received a couple of phone calls from one of the nurses to check on me, then it was left to me to keep track of my progress. These things take time and you'll lose all of the transplanted hair over the following few months, but have faith - it will grow back! This was all explained to me before the surgery. I’ve been for two further check ups at the clinic since the operation and can see that there is still some growth to come from some of the implanted hairs. The surgery was 15 months ago and I am ecstatic with the results so far and am finally able to grow my hair! I only wish I’d have done it earlier. Ignore any bad reviews about this place or the staff. Yes, they might mess up your hair at consultations, but what do you expect at a hair clinic?! They need to see what state your hair is in! But the entire team are so friendly and professional, yet also have a sense of humour. Every penny spent was worth it and I’d encourage anyone who can afford to do something about their hair loss to contact Farjo for a consultation. I’d go back time and time again for more if I could. Deepest thanks to the entire team, you’ve changed my view of myself massively for the better.

A life changing experience! I spent a great deal of time and effort doing my research and chose Farjo for many reasons, and I did the right thing. My hair transplant has completely changed my life, my confidence and the way I look and feel. When I look back a pictures of myself it shocks me, and also shocks my family and friends! The amount of people who say to me ‘it’s taken 10 years off you’ makes me realise even more how this was the best thing that ever happened to me. I spend a lot of time in India with work, which is a place that offers hair transplants at really cheap rates, and I recently went to a hairdressers there and told him I had a hair transplant. He said he cuts many people’s hair who've had a transplant and can always tell if someone’s had it done, however he was truly surprised about me, and said he couldn’t even tell at all. Which is why it’s so important to do your research and go to somewhere reputable, and someone who is pioneering in the industry like Farjo. The whole process was highly professional from the first consultation, to the day of surgery, to all the after-care and support. I would like to thank both Dr Farjos, Dr Kaye, Mick and the entire team, and would recommend them to anyone considering having it done.

I am a genuine customer of the Farjo Institute in Manchester and undertook an FUT procedure a few days ago having researched widely and had a consultation with the team earlier this year. I can honestly say that my experience so far has been nothing short of outstanding, the professionalism and kindness shown by Dr Farjo and all his staff is really first class. It's obviously too early to assess the full results and I am realistic as to what can actually be achieved, but at the same time hopeful of course. If things change or there is a significant update I will post again. There seem to be some negative reviews on here too, I would say if you are considering a treatment go and speak with Mick and the office team and make your own mind up based on their advice. They won't hard sell to you in my experience. Thanks to the team and I'll keep you posted. A three month update November 2018: Three months post operation the process has been exactly as described, so much so it's quite uncanny. After a few weeks pretty much all the implanted hair falls out. This is to be expected as the hairs have been stressed, but the roots remain (you just can't see them). After about six to eight weeks you look in the mirror and see yourself back to square one with no sign of any progress. There's still a little numbness to the implanted area but that's all (there's no pain, not at any stage). The FUT scar is starting to fade after some itchiness and scabbing, but reducing every week - I found a local hairdresser to do a scissor cut to keep the hair at the back short but long enough to keep the scar covered. And then... now, after three months I am starting to see some baby growth of hairs on the recipient area. It's early days, but something is happening. It is literally like a baby's hair, thin and weak, but should strengthen and thicken over time. Now it's all about wait and see for up to another nine months. So the signs are there and it's encouraging...

Hi All, I’m not generally one for writing reviews and for clarity I’m writing this one under a non-de-plume because my anonymity was (and still is) important to me when it came to my hair transplant. This is one of the reasons I decided to use Dr Farjo and his team; they are ultra-professional when it comes to privacy. My hair transplant carried out by Farjo and his Team was top notch, I couldn't have asked for better pre or post op care and the results of the actual Op have been very positve, I had researched different surgeons and providers quite heavily and what I got from Farjos was exactly the high quality I had expected and then some, ive you unsure I would recommend a trip down to see Mick at Farjos there was never any high pressure sales techniques just honest advice and even after my quotation there was still zero pressure to go ahead To sum up I can't recommend Farjos service highly enough 10/10 from me

Hi all, The service Just a note to say I have personal experience with Farjo and his surgical team, and I can honestly say they looked after me both pre and post surgery to a very high standard including personal calls on a daily basis from nurses checking on progress and making sure I was ok which was so reassuring, I when I did have a slight issue I was straight back in free of charge rectifying said issue (A painful ingrowing hair) which is why I chose not to go overseas for the procedure, I don’t know what I would have done if I had gone abroad then had the issue I did, so like I say they quickly resolved the problem in the space of a day and away I went Within 30 minutes of attending the clinic, very quick and very discreet The results From where I was to where I am today are chalk and cheese and I was quite far gone in my opinion I have had any negative comment only positive comment saying there something about me that makes me look younger that people can quite put there finger on, having said that I bumped into someone I hadn’t seen for 8 years and they were blown away with how I looked now compared to when they last saw me! My advice Do you research ask to talk to ex patients (that’s what convinced me to go with Farjo’s) and ask as many questions you want at a consultation no matter how stupid you may think they are don’t be scared to ask ask ask, if they make you feel reassured and confident then you should take the plunge it can be life changing....
