A. C.I am giving a 5 star review. General practitioners have a tough job as gatekeepers of health services and need to be skilled clinical decision makers. Having recently met with Dr Heron I felt very well cared for. He was very thorough in his assessment and considered both physical and mental wellbeing. K. J. S.Recently received my flu vac. Staff efficient and well organised Covid control measures. Only irritation was when practitioner referred to me requiring the flu vac for "old codgers" . I may be nearly 66yrs old but l am still working full time, as l have done for the last 47yrs with the NHS. Whist l hope that she did not intend to cause offense, not everyone appreciates this level of familiarity particularly from someone they do not know. Alittle sensitivity would be appreciated, otherwise my family has always received a good service from this practice, so a big thankyou for providing a service particularly during this difficult time.
