I was diagnosed and treated by Dr Ankur Kumar who was a pleasure to deal with, very professional but also seemed to really care about my wellbeing. Although this is a private clinic, I didn't get the feeling that they are just interested in money, as Dr Kumar suggested various NHS services that I could use. I am now solely using my local NHS service but did have the option of setting up a shared care agreement for my medication.
The admin team at the ADHD Centre in Manchester are also very helpful!

I recently went for an ADHD assessment and decided to go private due to the ridiculously long waiting lists for local NHS services. I have never paid for healthcare in the past so this was a first but I simply could not wait more than one year plus. I chose this service based on a professional recommendation and I liked the video testimonial reviews. The service I have received from Dr Kumar in particular has been very attentive, fast and professional. I am now on shared care with my local GP, which makes monthly prescriptions much cheaper. I still see Dr Kumar every six months for a review appointment, which is very thorough and reassuring. When my NHS referral comes through to my NHS ADHD service then I will be able to transfer care completely to the NHS. I have been assured by Dr Kumar that even once I am discharged then I can always come back and see him in future, which is very comforting to know as the service I have received has been so personable.
If anyone is thinking about going down the private route then I don’t think that you’ll find a better clinic than this one.

Dr Faridi is responsible for a total change for the better in our household. My son is happy and doing well at school home is more relaxed he is making friends. We owe this man a lot of thanks.

The ADHD Centre has an amazing clinic here in Manchester, England. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who thinks they or their child has ADHD to come and be assessed. I'm promoting your clinic because of the way the people have treated me there. They handled me very professionally, all while maintaining that level of compassion that most of us ADHD patients look out for. Your treatment programs made the entire process easy to access and deal with. I will always be grateful.

I live in Sheffield, where there are no adult ADHD services, so I decided to have a Skype assessment with Dr Raganathun. He was very attentive and clearly very knowledgable about how to spot ADHD symptoms. We have started a stimulant medication and coaching with Helen and there has been quite a wonderful transformation in my ability to engage with the tasks that I need to at work and with my family. I feel that there is still a long way to go and really this is just the beginning but I am surprisingly encouraged already!

I saw Dr Kumar at the ADHD Centre in Manchester at the beginning of last month. I was diagnosed with moderate Inattentive type Adhd.
I have now started on a combined treatment programme of long acting stimulant medication and regular coaching sessions. The improvements at work and home are
already really quite amazing. I’m able to actually focus on mundane tasks, pay attention to fine details, and generally
organise my life in a way that I could never do before.
It’s still early days but a massive thanks to Dr Kumar, Kathy and everyone else at the centre for all your help so far.

I saw Dr Kumar at the Manchester clinic last year. I was in my final year at uni and was so stressed out and NOT on top of my studies at all. With his help and others from the team I managed to really turn this around and with a combination of medication and coaching not only graduated, but got a 2:1. Amazing !!

Take it from me. There were a lot of times I've lost confidence and just wanted to end everything. I never thought I could get control over my ADHD symptoms. Thank you so much to the ADHD Centre in Manchester for saving me from my misery. It's been months already and I've never felt more productive and enthusiastic to explore my capabilities.

I had a very positive experience with this ADHD Centre. Kathy and the admin staff were remarkably kind and helpful and Dr Rahman was very conscientious, thorough and skilled in treating a family member.
