M. B.Having lived in various places across the country with varying degrees of GP experience, I can easily say that this has probably been one of the best.
Reception staff have always been pretty helpful and answer the phone, the app they use is great for reordering prescriptions and also there website has quite a lot of up to date info on who you need to contact.
Even seeing the GP (during COVID) wasn't an issue, he listened to the issue/s and was really knowledgeable and reassured me, which in my opinion is the some of the most important things.
I wish it was this consistent everywhere!

M.I needed to register my mother in law at a new GP practice as she was moving and try to organise essential medication delivery as she has Parkinson's and mobility issues, I live out of the area in West Yorkshire. I got it all done in good time with the dedication and hard work of Paula, she was absolutely brilliant and extremely helpful. Fantastic service and this took a huge weight off my shoulders. A professional service by a very experienced member of what appears to be a great team. Huge thank you.

I has an email of one of the girls from the practice that I had missed something, but chatting with her through that we managed to get registered. We haven't had any problems at all with any one we have dealt with as the surgery. Absolutely brilliant

D. T.A few weeks ago I experienced a level of care & help which was above & beyond anything you would expect to find from any practice. I went for my covid jab on a Saturday morning whilst being crippled by a chronic gout attack effecting nearly all joints, Bernie was concerned at the condition I was in & sat me down in a quiet area, brought the jab to me & asked me about my condition & within 2 minutes Dr Young came to see me, he was able to prescribe some different medications on the spot, which saved me from an agonising weekend. I am forever grateful thank you again.
J. A.Having moved to the NE two years ago, I am happy to say this is probably the best GP practice that I have ever used. Have always been able to see a doctor, usually on the day of calling, and the nurses and reception staff are all very kind and helpful.
c. f.I felt compelled to write a review (which I rarely do), but after the wonderful help of Bernie (who I think is the Triage Nurse) I had to. After ringing up in the morning for an appointment to see a Doctor she rang me back and spent a good amount of time with me to understand my concerns on my ailment and I didnt feel for one second that she was needing to be off the phone and onto the next call (she probably was but it didnt come across that way). She listened to me and we actually worked through the issues thereby saving valuable time for someone else to take the appointment I was trying to get, in the old days the only way of getting something done with a long standing problem was to nag the doctor but she did a fantastic workaround to resolve the problem. I then went on to explain a minor concern I had to which she again was super helpful. The call ended and I came away very happy with the chat which I needed. This was yesterday, but today she went above and beyond in my opinion. She spoke with a doctor about the minor concern for some advice and then rang me back up and left a voicemail on the subject. She could have very easily forgotten the discussion or carried out the other 10000 things she probably had to do but this small touch has made all the difference. I cant thank her enough. While i'm on, I find the doctors I have dealt with to be fantastic and the pharmacy next door very good as well. I have absolutely no affiliation with anyone involved here.
N. G.I think a lot of the reviews posted on here are unfair. For example, if you're suffering from a chronic condition exasperated by the heat and high pollen count and so on, and you NEED to be seen immediately, go to A&E or the walk in centre; a doctors practice isn't the place to go when you're at deaths door, it's a place you go when your condition isn't critical or urgent but requires attention. This is how the NHS operates, and if you don't like the model adopted, complain to them via the appropriate channels rather than criticising a small number of people doing everything they can in demanding conditions for a big community.
That said, I've been to see the medical staff here with my infant daughter and for myself on several occasions for non-urgent conditions and they have always been professional, courteous and incredibly helpful. The front desk staff are also helpful and waiting with a smile to get you checked in and sorted. I'd highly recommend them, just be realistic with your expectations!
T. T.I can not say how GREAT this group of medic's and staff are. I have had issues over the last two years and the doctor who has been looking after me, Dr Bloom, has been BRILLIANT and I can only sing praise on him and ALL the staff. As far as I am concerned GREAT practise.

My family and registered at this practice after moving to the area over two years ago.
