Reviews of Saxon Spires Practice Guilsborough

Was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes 4 months ago and these people have been so supportive with everything I couldn't recommend them enough, thank you to all the staff at saxon spires ❤️

Had to move GPs since moving to area and my Experience so far has been great. Went above and beyond when trying to get to the bottom of my headaches. Ending in a referral to the neurologist. I’ve suffered with migraines for such a long time and now having treatment. Always pleasant on the phones and helpful. Thank you

A genuinely personal and caring experience today. Arrived for an emergency appointment and Nurse Burmingham and the GP couldn’t be more helpful. Reassuring to know my local Surgery is there when needed. Great job guys. Thank you.

I was temporarily transferred to the surgery while living with my family away from my home and waiting for surgical treatment. I must record my appreciation for the efficient and friendly professional attention I received from all the staff during those few short months. Thank you.

As a pharmacist working in Newcastle-upon-Tyne we often get students requesting emergency supplies of prescription medicines because they have forgotten to register with a GP up here, etc., etc.. Normally when we contact their GP at 'home' the experience is akin to pulling teeth. When this happened with a patient registered with this practice the staff COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE HELPFUL! Very impressed.

We are so blessed to have two fantastic surgeries. The doctors and staff at both Brixworth and Guilsborough are so kind and caring, especially Dr. Northover, who always seems to go above and beyond the call of duty! A huge thank you to you all.

Just to record my appreciation of the efficient yet friendly way the staff have delivered the Covid Boosters and Flu jabs.
Thanks also to the guys managing the car parking.

We have been with guilsborough surgery for many years as have my mum and dad on whole this is a great surgery the staff are great and most of the doctors we have had fantastic, but one bad experience for my mum elderly and now without my father here has now left her a nervous wreck , one Sunday awaiting a call back for information about iron tablets which the hospital had recommended to her to be told by this doctor (WILL NOT MENTION NAME) she didn't need them 5 mins later she rang back my mum who is hard of hearing and would say yes to everything without understanding to be told over the phone and on her own that she had cervical cancer as you can imagine she rang me up crying and giving up she didn't eat anything and now will not go out, when I request this doctor to ring me back and explain which she did I asked why my mum was told over the phone this news and not brought in to discuss face to face I said this was unprofessional in how it was dealt with and the hospital said that this should never have been done like this aswell, she turned round and said I didn't have to tell you did I but I thought I would as you can imagine I was not happy .. Dr Boon has been fantastic dealing with this but I will never let my mum see this other doctor again she has changed my mum completely I will never forgive this doctor NC for this ... and may I say there is alot more but I have just touched the side lines on this and can I say after tests my mum has not got cervical cancer or bowel cancer a happy ending but a changed and nervous mum

An excellent service, as a family we have been patients for four years and three of us have had substantial issues to contend with. The doctors, other staff and premises/services in Guilsborough and now (for the latter) Brixworth are first class. Highly recommend.

Usually the worst part of a visit to the GP is having to deal with receptionists so you can imagine my surprise when none of the staff here in my experience have been rude, ignorant or unhelpful. Very unusual for a Doctors Surgery. Top Marks.

I would personally like to thank
Dr Moss for removing a small cancerous lump from my cheek, also nurses that assisted
Wonderful job , leaving no scar.

Dr Boyle is an absolute treasure, and I hope they offer him a permanent contract.

It seems that a stand alone Radio has been introduced, not sure why because if the Nurse/Doctor come and shout your name you cannot hear them because of the Radio playing, totally ridiculous.

Brilliant surgery, I can always get in and the receptionists are always polite Which is more than I can say for another surgery I was at in rugby.
