Reviews of Walnut Tree Surgery

I love this surgery so much! They have always been so helpful and always take time to explain things to you as a patient so you have a clear understanding of your care. Great thanks to Dr O’Neil and Dr C.Leung for restoring my faith in the NHS! They’ve both been so kind and patient with my care, I always get dismissed due to me being a ‘low risk and young patient’ despite all the trouble I was going through with my health but they take excellent care of me and always try to reassure me and make sure I receive the right treatment that I am also happy with. Thank you so much again! Im so grateful.

Very friendly staff and extremely competent doctors. Feel very lucky to not relate to the negative reviews, reception staff have always been extremely helpful and very quick to put prescriptions in, notify gp of anything. Gp’s themselves are exceptional. My doctor is Dr Dryden and she is great. Best GP surgery I’ve been a patient under. Can’t sing their praises high enough.

I am very happy with this surgery, they always see me or call me back quite quickly and the receptionists are very helpful. don't have to wait for ages for someone to pick up the phone. I have mainly been seen by Dr. Dryden who has always had time to listen to me, takes me seriously and tries to find solutions to my often tricky symptoms. Generally a good surgery in comparison to others I have heard of.

Very good doctors at the surgery, If you see Dr Dryden you can be waiting a while as always seems to be running late and never on time. Dr Goodall & Dr Lee are very good and always see you on the appt time. The nurse is polite but can also be messy (saw her last week and she missed the bin and kicked it under her desk)

Brilliant doctors. Dr Goodall is the only doctor I've ever had who has taken time to get to know me and my situation. He never rushes to get the appointment over quickly so it always feels like I've been able to say all the things I want to. Unfortunately I've had to change GPs due to moving house, but I would recommend him to anyone. I once saw another doctor there who was also very good.

Never have any problems getting an appointment. The two GPs I have seen are excellent. The reception staff are polite discrete and I have never been asked inappropriate questions when booking an appointment. Email prescriptions system could do with an update, but generally works.

Avoid Dr Dryden at all costs however the other doctors are excellent. Reception lady always seems reluctant to do anything for some reason. Pretty standard NHS institution.
