I cannot recommend The Minster Clinic highly enough. I am so glad that my Google search led me to them. I had 3 moles removed from my face several months ago by Dr Daniel Thio and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Where I once had 3 moles, I now have the faintest white marks that are barely noticeable, and not at all noticeable with makeup on. I wish I had done this years ago. Communication with the clinic was fantastic from the first contact, and my appointment was made very quickly. All staff were kind and professional. The procedure was quick and painless, and I was given very clear aftercare instructions. The clinic was immaculately clean. From a financial perspective I also felt that the Minster Clinic was much better value for money than some of the bigger, more well known hospitals in the area. The initial consultation was done on the same day as the move removal, so there wasn’t a separate charge for that, and no need for a second trip to the clinic. AND laboratory testing of the moles was also included in the price. I cannot fault the service and would return without hesitation. Thank you!

I had a mole removed from my face by Dr Daniel who did an exceptional job and put me at ease the entire time. It has since healed very well and you would be hard pressed to see the small red scar / mark left as the skin continues to heal. Dr Daniels' dedication to clarity of procedure and aftercare is outstanding. The clinic itself is in an excellent location in York and presents as extremely hygienic and modern. First time we used this clinic. I checked it out on line and chose it for the dermatological qualifications of the Doctors. In the appointment we first had an assessment and discussion about the procedure. Sarah went through all options, she would have been very happy if we had walked away. Sarah was not at all pushy. The procedure went well, very careful and reassuring. We were sent away with sufficient dressings to last until healed. If ever need to go back in the future, I wouldn't hesitate to go back to the Minster Clinic.

I had an examination from Daniel followed by a full and detailed examination in which he firmly expressed the fact that, medically, I did not need a large mole removed. I am very pleased with the treatment I had for my varicose veins. Mr Sridhar offered excellent advice and the procedure was done well and my leg has healed beautifully with remarkable results and no more ugly veins. I was so nervous about having facial mole removal done and put it off for years. I researched several places and ultimately chose this clinic because I’d read all the reviews and everyone seemed to have a good experience and said that the doctors were so friendly and kind. I also liked that it seemed very professional but not super clinicy and scary. I can say that I found all this to be true. All the staff were lovely and Dr Thio made sure I was fully informed about the procedure. The removal went really well and I’m honestly so happy with the results. I’m super squeamish and, though it did hurt a bit, it was so much quicker and easier than I thought and once it was done I felt great. The whole process was so smooth from start to finish. I only wish I’d done it sooner!

I recently visited The Minster Clinic for a Hyperhydrosis treatment. Dr's Daniel & Sarah were incredibly welcoming and professional throughout my visit. The consultation was clear and informative - Daniel took me through what would happen during the treatment, benefits, as well as any potential risks. Any questions that I had were efficiently answered, and I was offered a lot of guidance throughout. I have had Hyperhydrosis at a few other clinics previously, and the treatment itself at The Minster Clinic was more relaxing than any I have had to date. I am starting to feel the benefits already (2 days after the treatment), and am so pleased with the experience as a whole. I cannot thank Daniel and Sarah enough for their welcoming approach, helpful guidance and professional etiquette. I highly recommend The Minster Clinic, and will certainly be returning to when this treatment has run its course (usually around 6 months), and look forward to visiting again.

Excellent experience having two moles removed. I chose Minster Clinic because it was the only place offering a free consultation first. I made an appointment, but felt no pressure to proceed with the treatment if I was not ready. Risks from the procedure and healing process were all explained. I went to this clinic just before Christmas. I did my research before I chose a clinic to go to and I'm so glad I picked here. I have never had a surgical procedure before so I was nervous, but their helpfulness and knowledge before I even got there gave me confidence that I had chosen the right place. They had put corona virus precautions in place which meant they were wearing masks and so was I. I also noticed how clean the practice was when I entered and there was alcohol gel to use for people entering. The staff on reception were very nice and one of them helped in the procedure room with Daniel. The procedure went well and I was very happy with the information I received on the day as well as the price. The results of procedure were very good and if I were to have another procedure I would definitely chose to go here. I would recommend to family or friends, even though I live over an hour away. I had a mole on my chest that had caused me a lot of anxiety for over a year. I got seen by the minster clinic within a couple of days and was able to have the mole removed successfully the same day, which was amazing. Whilst at the clinic, all staff were friendly, patient and reassuring, and advised the mole would be tested and I would get the results back within 4 weeks. Instead when I rang 5 weeks later to say I hadn't had the results, I was told the dermatologists were on holiday and so hadn't checked any histology results. I appreciate staff need annual leave but I was extremely anxious (as the staff knew) about the results of my mole being cancerous, and my histology results weren't looked at by any staff until 6 weeks after removal. Luckily the mole was benign however I feel leaving the clinic without any member of staff to have access to these histology results whilst people are away on holiday leaves clients open to a) delayed further treatment if required and b) more anxiety than is necessary, which is disappointing for the price paid for the removal. Overall I am impressed by the speed and quality of the mole removal service, but disappointed by the customer service and after-care beyond the appointment.

I contacted The Minster Clinic due to their easily accessible location and comprehensive website information. From the first email contact I was very impressed. They were efficient and polite in their response to my enquiry and saw me promptly for an initial consultation ( to remove 2 cysts from my scalp). Daniel clearly explained what would be involved in the keyhole removal of the cysts and I was booked in for the procedure a couple of weeks later. Both Daniel and Sarah did a great job putting me at ease at the start of the procedure, distracting me chatting prior to the initial injections and then talking me through the procedure and removal. The procedure itself was quick and painless and the final results are brilliant with only two tiny incision marks which are the only evidence the cysts were ever there! Went after a few years of considering a mole removal on my face. NHS turned me down because of its awkward placement but Dr Thio said it would be no problem. After a thorough consultation the mole was removed the same day. I was able to purchase a care packet for the wounds at the clinic which has so far worked amazing. 4 weeks later I am almost fully healed and very happy with the whole thing. After researching Mole removal in the York Area, the Minster Clinic was my choice due to the positive feedback. I booked a consultation and Daniel and Sarah explained the procedure fully and what the outcome of the mole removal process would look like, including tests which would be conducted on the moles which were to be removed. I felt they truly cared about me. I had 2 moles removed from my face both of which were visible and 1 had grown larger over the years (I had this mole for over 40 years). I booked the procedure and they were very accommodating with my limited availability. The procedure was pain free and I was a little apprehensive as to what my face would look like immediately after removal - however I needn't have worried, the wounds were not as noticeable as I thought. Aftercare was explained fully and I followed this to the letter. It is just over 3 weeks after my procedure and you would have to look very closely to see any signs that there once was a mole. I contacted Minster Clinic, York, to enquire about the removal of a cyst on my cheek. I had read information online about the clinic and the excellent qualifications of the doctors. All sounded very impressive. I was not disappointed! Online communications were pleasant, prompt and informative. Potential treatment costs were shown on the web site which was reassuring. There were no nasty surprises! The cost of my treatment was exactly as stated. On arrival at the Clinic I received a friendly welcome from both Dr Daniel Thio and the Nurse . Dr Thio kindly and patiently conducted an initial assessment and completed associated documentation after which I happily opted to have the procedure carried out straight away. The Surgery was absolutely spotless and treatment was carried out with great care and professionalism with strict adherence to recognised surgical/aseptic protocol . Dr Theo explained everything to me throughout . I didn't feel a thing and it was soon over. The dressing was very small and neat so was hardly noticeable which was a bonus. I realised I had actually enjoyed my experience! After having had the stitches removed I am thrilled with the outcome. Already , now, just 12 days after treatment there is hardly anything to see where that horrible cyst was - fantastic ! I can't thank you enough! I have no hesitation in highly recommending Minster Clinic to others.

Good experience having botox injections for the first time last year. I chose Minster Clinic because Dan and Sarah are medical professionals and took me through a very thorough consultation beforehand. I am really pleased with the treatments I have had at Minster Clinic. I have had a cherry angioma removed from my cheek, and some thread veins treated on my nose and cheeks. I have healed well from both procedures; the spot where the red mole was removed is fading nicely, and I can see some improvement with regards to the thread veins after this initial treatment. The procedure is fully explained to you, mentioning any risks there may be. Secondly, the surgeon has a very professional manner and relates well to the patient. After a consultation with Dr. Daniel I decided to go ahead with the procedure. The anaesthetic was the most painful part of the procedure, which only took about twenty minutes. Afterwards I was shown the incision and sutures. I was surprised at how tiny the incision was, it was about 3-4mm across. The wound has healed perfectly and is already beginning to fade back to my normal skin tone. I am delighted with the consultation and treatment I have had from the Minster Clinic and would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone requiring a similar treatment.

My sister in law, who is a nurse recommended me to Minster clinic. She had very successfully had some skin tags removed. I had a sort of sun/age spot thing on my cheek for a good few years and wanted it removed, also have a fair amount of acne scaring on my cheeks and chin. At the clinic I had the age spot removed on the day, it was totally painless and the results are amazing. A biopsy was sent off to check nothing nasty was involved. I received an e-mail confirming all was ok. Daniel explained about Tixel to me to help reduce my acne scaring (with a side effect of helping lines & wrinkles yippee). I’ve had one treatment of Tixel with good results starting to show already. Have another booked for December.
