We used First Aid Bristol to renew our first aid certificates for our martial arts instructors badges. Having searched for a long time and only ever finding courses with ridiculous cost involved we came across First Aid Bristol who were extremely good value for money, extremely flexible and helpful with arranging the date. We even managed to get a Saturday booking which meant nobody had to take time off work which was perfect! Our trainer Trevor helped make a long day interesting and go quickly. Lots of very important learning took place but at the same time lots of laughter was had throughout the day so that it was enjoyable. We are now qualified for3 years but had already expressed our interest to go back in 3 years to renew again and will be recommending our other friends instructors in Bristol to come to you when needed. The course was run by Indie and also Georgie on the first day. The presenters were knowledgeable and helpful, going at a pace that made the learning accessible and being free to answer questions we had. They made it clear that we were not being trained to be paramedics and so focused on what one should reasonably try to do in a first aid situation. They frequently repeated the key skills we needed to remember and there was a good mix of classroom and practical to reinforce what we were being taught. I was on this course as a DofE volunteer and came away feeling reassured that I had the basic skills required.

Really good and informative emergency first aid course with lots of hands on practical scenarios. Luis and Georgina are really good professional instructors and made everyone feel very welcome. Met and had a laugh with some lovely people on the course too which was a bonus. I’ll def be back for a refresher course in the future.

I have just finished the Outdoor First Aid course. I have done a lot of basic life support classes working with the NHS. This is hands down the absolute best training I have done and so much more effective. It’s really interactive, taught at a pace that is not too fast and not to slow, and with the variety of props used to create scenarios, it’s also really fun! Would 100% recommend.

My husband and I attended a childrens first aid course with Trevor recently through First Aid Bristol. We brought our 6 month old along. Trevor was really informative and engaging and, seen as we were the only attendees that day, he was really willing to answer all our questions and be flexible for us. Great company, good venue with tea and coffee and parking. Would recommend !

Thanks again for a fantastic course - I have to take a 2-day outdoor course every year or so as part of my snowsports instructor qualification, and can honestly say this is the best I've attended. A great setting, good value - and I particularly enjoyed Indie the instructor; her relaxed style, combined with her years working with people in the mountains (with a multitude of real-life first aid experiences) made for an incredibly rich and insightful course. Really refreshing! Thanks again, highly recommended and I will be back when it is time to renew.

Attended a Training course found the staff very patient and friendly. There is no parking available but they can subsidise if you park in the near by Gardener Haskins as long as you show your parking ticket. I will advise that if you do attend any of there training courses bring your own packed lunch or a local sainsburys/Tesco's is available about 10 minutes walk. I do strongly recommend anyone wishing to learn first aid or sports massage to look First Aid Bristol up.

We have just finished a First Aid at Work training course run by Indie from First Aid Bristol. We have all completed many courses over the years but this was undoubtedly the most professional and interesting First Aid course we have experienced. Indie has real life experience and this is evident in the way the course is conducted. We finished our course on Friday and had the certificates emailed on Saturday morning. Overall this is a very professional company with great instructors and very competitive pricing. Highly recommended.

Went here for my First Aid at Work Refresher. It provided a really good overview of the basics, with reminders of what I had forgotten in the couple year’s interim! The course trainer Ivor was informative and enthusiastic for the lessons, ready to answer any questions that the class had. Also, there were adjustments to the course for COVID safety which didn’t negatively impact the lessons. Certification, following examination on the final day, was pretty prompt as well. Overall good service.

I thought Indie was so articulate in delivering the emergency First Aid Course at Work, her dulcet tones are calming. Indie really took her time in explaining each module and welcomed questions and, didn’t mind how many questions were being asked. I really enjoyed the scenarios too and it was nice that Indie could relate that we can all forget how to do things when we don’t do them often. The book is really useful and I try to read this at least once a week to keep myself familiarised. Thank you very much.

Despite my best efforts to cause as much disruption as possible with booking at the last minute and fudging my order the First Aid Bristol Team expertly handled the chaos and turned me into a competent emergency first aider. We would thoroughly recommend Bristol First Aid to any Rugby club. Totally tailored for any rugby related situation. All 10 coaches who recently undertook their first aid course described it as Engaging. Professional. Fun and Informative One coach said he was dreading 8 hours of First Aid but after 2 sessions said he would’ve done another session! I can’t recommend this Paediatric First Aid course enough. I helped organised ten parents and their babies to attend this three hour course last month. The instructor ‘Indie’ was a foundation of knowledge answering all our questions in a highly professional manner. The hands on course was a brilliant mixture of visual information and ‘learn by doing’. I never thought I would enjoy a First Aid course so much but I did ! We all did ! The fact we were able the attend in person and not via zoom in COVID secure facilities made it even more rewarding. Thank you so much !

Had to do our refresher First Aid Course for our taekwondo group. I must say how relaxed the atmosphere was.
