A. F.We did a 4-week evening scent work course with Martyna from Perky's Dog Training. The classes are very relaxed, interesting, and fun and my dog has really enjoyed each one! In the week after each class he has definitely shown calmer behaviour and I think it has also helped with his confidence generally. Martyna is lovely and an excellent teacher. I highly recommend checking out her classes.

My German Shepard cross, Frankie, is extremely reactive, as she is a rescue dog from Romania.
Frankie will not approach strangers or house visitors and barks continuously at people.
Within half hour with Martyna working with Frankie to make her feel comfortable, Frankie approached Martyna calmly and sniffed her. This is the most progress we have seen with Frankie in the 6 months she’s been home with us.
Martyna is a lovely, warm friendly person and helps you understand your dog and the best way to help.

R. T.I have a fairly new and young rescue dog and I wanted some support to help with basic training and understanding his behaviour. Martyna was amazing. Her insight and knowledge around dog behaviour was absolutely invaluable. She was the only trainer who offered a phone call upfront, before we started to work together, and her support and knowledge, and open manner on that call was what 'sold' her to me.
Our session together was completely personalised to my and my dog's needs, there was plenty of time for discussion and she helped me to learn and understand techniques and come up with simple, positive ideas to support me and my dog. We did some work at my house and then went for a small walk. She followed-up with notes and guidance, and I have a support call I can use.
I would totally recommend Perky's Dog Training, especially if you want to truly understand your dog and use positive methods to help train and support them. I also really liked the fact that I wasn't tied into a 6 week course - Martyna suggested 1 session initially.
Z. P.I would thoroughly recommend Perky's dog training. Martya helped me out with some issues between my two dogs and the advice she gave me was really helpful. Martya was kind enough to speak to me on a Bank Holiday and followed up with further information which was all very useful and eased the situation as well as giving me more confidence. She is very knowledgeable as well as having a calm manner which really helped.
P. S.Martyna was very patient and helped us so much with Chewie! Chewie was brilliant to have around at home, where there was no distractions. But taking him out for a walk was a completely different story. She figured out that he was addicted to… ball! Gave us a lot of tips how to deal with him and it worked just after few sessions. She is very passionate about her job and will do everything to make sure your dog feels good. We 100% recommend Martyna!
