This was the first time I've ever used kennels. So I was a bit apprehensive. On arrival we rang and rang the bell and waited a good 20 minutes . No one was there to welcome us which was disappointing I also asked the gentleman who took my dog in if we could be emailed just to be reassured that our dog was settling . I had to email twice and then had to call from Italy. The lady who I spoke to on the phone did say they were too busy to respond right away. Which I can understand. Before going home. I emailed again to let them know what time I would be collecting my dog. When we did arrive to collect him. He and his blanket where soaking wet and stinking of urine. The people we spoke to were polite enough. So for us, I felt disappointed given the reviews I read and which is why I placed me dog there. Sadly for us we will not be placing my dog back there. If they are too busy to get back or do not have an allocated person to welcome owners with there dogs. 😒

Rudy has been going to Blantyre Boarding Kennels for a few months now. He dayboards on a regular basis and has also boarded overnight a few times. He's excited to go and jumps out of the car when we arrive. I was quite anxious about leaving him overnight in kennels initially, but he was on good form when I picked him up and it put my mind at ease. The staff are always helpful and welcoming to Rudy. I feel confident that he's in good hands.

To our border collie here for a couple of days. We were a bit worried after reading reviews but after being there I have to disagree with them . They took him out twice a day and sent us a update by email which was great and we will definitely use again

Used them last year for my wee Ozzy Staffy. He was well looked after and he shall be returning this year for his holidays. Lovely people friendly staff and exceptional accomodation for Ozzy. 10/10

They really care for your dog. Mine is an English Springer. Nothing is too much trouble. They send wee personal updates from your pet. l have been going here 18 years with two different dogs and trust them implicitly. My dog boards at least twice every year and is groomed here as well. She goes bouncing happily into her kennel and we go away knowing all is well. Great team with professional well run kennels and dog groomers and l think a very reasonable cost as well.

I've had my shy dog Cassie here 1-2 times a year since she was a puppy. She would not LIKE going anywhere but here I know she will be well looked after. The staff are always happy to discuss special requirements and the pick-up service reduces stress on the first day of boarding.

We just got Ty back this morning, 28 October, we are absolutely delighted with the condition she is in. She seems to have had the perfect care. Already booked for our next holiday. Thinking back I should have added. when Ty and I were walking to the car she decided to go back to the building to see one of the ladies who looked after her. That tells you how good they were.

Can't recommend the ladies enough at the kennels my pug Franklin was there for 8 nights in December when I was on holiday I was sent an update on how he was doing whilst I was away , the place is clean and tidy and my boy came back the way he went in fit and healthy. Wouldn't think twice about leaving him there again and will 100 percent use them again thanks ladies for looking after our wee frank xx

Although I have not used the kennels yet I did have my dog isla booked in for nine days but I had to cancel and my £60 deposit was returned to me a couple of days later. I cannot rate the kennels but staff were very friendly and informative and will use the kennels if I have to do so in the future

If your looking for a place to drop your pup without feeling guilty, this is one of the kennels you want to drop them off at. My pup stitch seems to not be phased with his visits considering when we got him he was skin and bones from the cat and dog home from being stressed in a kennel. He's already booked in for another visit shortly when we have to work away for a few days.

We have used these kennels for years with our dog Kai who is now 13 years old and we never need to worry about him when he's there, as he always comes back so happy and healthy. We use the collection and delivery service and recently Kai has been trying to get back in the van when he's delivered back to us which speaks volumes! I highly recommend.

I was reluctant to put Roxy into kennels after her one and only previous time at another kennel, I cannot say how happy I am with her recent stay at Blantyre Boarding Kennels, she came home the same wee happy dog as when she went int, previously it took days for her to have anything to do with me, I would highly recommend using this excellent facility.
