S. M.We have been to a couple of demonstrations before, but they pale in comparison to Julie's! First she waited for us to arrive before she started, we got lost and were late. Half our party arrived on time, that was so kind, and unexpected. The demonstration was so informative, entertaining, educational!! She is so incredibly talented and in tune with her animals, just amazing. I couldn't recommend this demonstration more, we would definitely participate again!!

Please do yourselves and your dogs a favor and spend an afternoon with these wonderful people and their beautiful, talented dogs and learn a bit about what it means to really work with dogs. Her way of communicating with her dogs is so special and the demo would be a great for anyone who owns a dog to learn from, whether or not you work sheep. Actually, the demo is great for anyone that wants to understand about this Scottish way of life, which has been the way for centuries. Highly recommended.
N. C.Our jaws dropped as we pulled up the driveway; the setting is absolutely incredible. We were on the grass, on the floor, as we watched Julie work with her dogs. She is THE dog whisperer. We got to help feed the lambs. It was the best day of our trip. Be aware though, there is no cell phone reception nor internet service. We are very thankful for those on the "farm" that helped us find a ride home.
K. P.Wow, we were blown away with our demo. Julie Hill has a special waya with dogs that is almost subconscious. She showed us how she trains them and then showed the dogs in action herding sheep.
It was pne of the most fascinating demos I have seen.
Julie has a lovely enthusiastic manner and if you are passing through the borders, this is a MUST.
T.Loved this place, maybe because my family owns it! Lovely collies who are happy to socialise with you! Lovely friendly farmers too! Amazing walks to go on around carcant! My collie was a bit mischievous and didn't always listen to us. But as soon as the farmer talked to him, he was completely disciplined, almost like a new dog!! All in all the best farm I've visited.
