E. J.Dora is my first dog and she's a rescue. Although she was extremely sweet right from the start, she pulled on the lead, was reactive out walking and had no recall. I noticed a huge difference in her right from the first group session. A few simple changes and she was a different dog. The group sessions have been brilliant fun and are great value for money. Each week I see such improvements in her. We're both growing in confidence and having such a good time. The support from the other group members has been so helpful too.
Dora's quality of life has improved so much. These group sessions were the second best decision I ever made (the best was adopting her in the first place). Thank you Mark! 🐶
A. A.When we got our puppy in June, we decided to go to some training classes, and when a friend recommended The K9 Way to us we spoke to them and decided on the 121 puppy pack.
After the 5 sessions I can safely say it was worth every penny. Mark is friendly, knowledgeable and he was super patient with all of our questions. Most importantly, it's clear he loves dogs and working with them, and our girl loved him from the start. He started to teach us how to work on foundation training with Sana, and she's come on leaps and bounds. You need to put the work in between sessions but the techniques Mark showed us led to quick and noticeable results every week. Due to this I genuinely believe we have a better relationship with our dog, and that she is happier, and it goes around in cycles; she does well, we enjoy it more and relax, she picks up on this and responds to it.
In short, the course is a bargain and I'd recommend it to anyone with a pup. I'm so happy we decided to do it!
L.After doing a lot of training with online trainers and from videos, we started a group training course with Mark at K9 Way. It has been so helpful to get actual in-person feedback on how we handle our dog, and the advice has made a real difference. It has also been great for our dog to be around other dogs in a controlled environment, which is so much better than just having off-lead dogs run up on him at the park. It's making a really positive and noticeable difference.

T. P.We have a very loving and intelligent puppy Bernese boy, however, he had a very cautious and anxious nature, and suffered from some separation anxiety issues. We had tried a few other trainers before Mark at K9 way and we just didn’t feel they understood his nature enough and underestimated his abilities, so we didn’t see much improvement. Straight away Mark recognised the traits that other trainers just didn’t seem to get and we saw improvement in puppy from week 1!! After the block 121 course we have a puppy who we gladly take on walks and feel confident training him on and off lead with various distractions. We don’t want to stop there so are enrolling him in the group classes as he is excelling and doing amazingly with Mark’s training tips. Definitely the best dog trainer around!
k. m.I was recommended to John through word of mouth and that one conversation changed our dogs life! We had 1-1 sessions and I cannot recommend him enough to other dog owners. When we got another, unfortunately with restrictions in place we couldn’t access training but John was still extremely helpful and there for us throughout. If you are unsure, you just need to speak to John or Mark and you will see the passion, skills and knowledge they have.
D. M.As newbie Dog owners were struggling massively with our Springer Spaniel. He would pull like a train whilst on walks to such an extent that my Wife and Daughters would not walk him as he was so powerful and disobedient. That all changed once we reached out to the K9 Way and booked Mark to come to the house for a 1-2-1 session.
He saw what the problems were and gave us the skills and tools and more importantly the confidence to become responsible Dog owners and to give our boy his best life.
After everything Mark taught us our confidence has increased so much as a family that we have decided to get another Spaniel, but this time, having this new found knowledge from Mark we will not make the same mistakes. I can’t thank Mark enough for what he has done and I can thoroughly recommend the K9 way to anyone that is needing help, advice or guidance with their Dogs.
n. m.Mark and John have been instrumental in our pup’s progress. Without their help, our 9 month old German Shepherd would not have responded to training as well as she has. We are now able to enjoy a meal out or a night away with her through consistent training in different environments. The knowledge both trainers have is underrated, not only do they have many methods of communication and training they also ensure no question is unanswered through a free WhatsApp group for all likeminded dog owners. This has in turn increased our confidence with our pup, Lexi, and our relationship. Two puppy classes have been completed already with The K9 Way and many more drop in sessions or 1-1s to come. I would not go anywhere else and I am so grateful we started with The K9 Way as soon as we brought Lexi home. You will not regret working with The K9 Way.

We started 1-2-1 Puppy Fundamentals training with Mark from The K9 Way and it was a huge success, allowing our young pup to develop and grow . We have recently followed this up with group training which is a great forum for good socialisation, and to build on the 1-2-1 fundamentals. It's an investment in your dog's development and is great value for money.
M. A.The K9 Way have been amazing!! I contacted them when our boy Skye was just 11 weeks old as I could tell from early on that he was a full on crazy Cocker Spaniel. We had 3 cocker spaniels prior to getting Skye and although they were great dogs, I felt I wanted our boy to be the best he can be. I started with the puppy fundamentals, 5 weeks 1-2-1 home visits from Mark, who coached me on training Skye, this gave me the confidence to work with our boy using great training techniques. I followed this up with 6 weeks at the outdoor training group which was great for socialising with other dogs in a controlled environment and helped me build on the puppy fundamentals. I would highly recommend The K9 Way to anyone considering dog training for their pup or older dog - the knowledge and support these guys offer is fabulous.
N. L.I cannot speak highly enough of John and the K9 way team. Pre contacting K9 way walks with my anxious shar pei had become unbearable. The same was true of anyone new coming Into my house. John had a solution for all of the problems, and the majority of the problems were the way I was reacting to Ace's anxiety. Walking now is a dream and Ace is a much happier more confident dog. My only regret is that I wish I had contacted them sooner. Highly recommended 👌
