H. C.Jim has a fantastic way with dogs, from the moment I had my 10 month old Labrador Clyde out of the car, and after a few training tips for me he had Clyde walking to heel in his driveway within minutes.
Jim is very down to earth and definitely knows his stuff.
I had a two hour session and at the end I was blown away at what was achieved in such a short time. There was no pressure about any return sessions and was given the choice to come back if I thought it was necessary.
I would definitely recommend The Scottish Dog Whisperer to anyone struggling with dog issues.
D. B.Jim calls himself a trainer but I feel as if there's somekind of wizardry involved. I've been to other treat based trainers who has little impact on our terrier but Jim has an instant impact on her behaviour without a reward in site. Best of all with a little work Jim showed us how to get similar results at home and everyone, including the dog, is happier. Thanks Jim, we will be back for some advanced lessons soon. Legend.
s. g.We used Jim about nine years ago for our lab, collie cross Syler. Jim taught us the techniques we needed in a couple of hours of how to deal with his lead aggression and dominance. Changed the dogs behaviour completely and gave us the skills to train our subsequent dogs much more effectively.
A. M.I contacted Jim recently about my two border collies that suffer from separation anxiety. He came to my home and spent time training my dogs ( but mainly me ) and gave me great insight into their behaviour and what the dogs needed from me. Very quickly we got results. R. W.I contacted Jim as I have two very large Great Dane/Standard Poodle Crosses who were showing high prey drive and needed to be perfectly well behaved due to their size. Right from the start Jim was amazing, he has decades of experience and is very happy to share what he knows. I was already aware that it's never the dog and always the owner, but Jim was able to point out all the mistakes I was making that I had no idea about and give me practical tools to help. The result, two very well behaved boy's who's good behaviour is constantly commented on and I am able to take them anywhere and as an added bonus, they both love him!
V. S.I contacted Jim regarding my alaskan malamute missy she was going through adolescence and leash pulling at the time . Jim showed me how to deal with missy through her adolescence and leash pulling gave me some tools to work with and can't believe with in the short time how missy has changed and is a totally different dog . So well behaved and easy to deal with now plus I can take her for long walks and it is a pleasure without being pulled everywhere .I would highly recommend Jim to all my family and friends and anyone that is having problems with their dogs .
