L. C.We have loved working with Jackie from the Well Heeled Hound. We've had 3 sessions so far (one online and 2 face-to-face). After the online session, we saw a great improvement in our dog's responsiveness to us. We have an adolescent lab who is very playful but began to ignore us when she spotted other dogs and walks became a chore as she pulled so much. However, after working with Jackie and reinforcing positive behaviours through playing games and introducing a clicker, we've found her behaviour improve across the board, not just her new consistent loose lead walking. She is much calmer, puts herself in her crate during mealtimes, doesn't react to the doorbell, can approach other dogs without yanking and is generally more affectionate and playful. Jackie is a wealth of knowledge and gives great, informative advice without making you feel judged. She is patient and has great, tailored ideas to help you with your specific issues. We are looking forward to our next class!
