Sue runs a remarkable dog (or owner) training school. She is professional and eminently qualified, and she keeps her classes uplifted with humour throughout. We came away from our first class with brains full to bursting with her profound wisdom and insights into why puppies behave as they do and how to use that knowledge to begin to socialise and train our own puppy. We, quite literally, cannot wait to go back for the next class.

I have been to a few alpha dog training school classes now and not only am I and my puppy having so much fun, I am learning so much despite having done lots of training in the past with other schools. They have a fabulous method that is kind and safe on the dogs and my dogs are much better behaved for it. I genuinely can't wait for the next session. Thank you Sue and team!

Having only just attended my first training class at Alpha, I can already say that the trainers here are absolutely amazing! Very skilled, very patient and extremely dedicated to help dog owners understand that great behaviour is possible from any dog. It really is true that it's us, the owners, who need training! Casual, well run classes with informative and helpful instructors. Very accessible alternative to expensive one on one private sessions or adult advanced classes - we needed help with older rescue dogs showing dog reactivity, which not every school is willing to work with. Will be recommending Alpha Dog Training to everyone I know.

Alpha are the real deal. These guys are a god send. They know everything you can know about dogs. They care about the dogs first and foremost, have shedloads of experience, are intelligent and knowledgeable, and they give real, useful advice tat you can apply immediately. I had had terrible experience with expensive behaviourists previously, who were more interested in making money than helpingdogs or their owners. I’d had incoherent nonsense from the others, and been told I should rehome my dog or put him on pills. Within minutes of going to Alpha, Fergus made a miraculous improvement. I can’t thank them enough. They’re kind, patient, knowledgeable and genuine. I cannot recommend them enough! Do yourself a favour and call Sue and her team. They’re the best thing you can do for you and your dog!
