Totally recommend Amey’s Dog Services ! Had a few lessons with Amey for our yorkie’s anxiety towards people and bigger dogs and it went great. She provided us with series of exercises to do in order to grow his confidence and we could see the results after a few weeks. We plan to continue the training and even to take part in group lessons once he is ready. Thank you very much !

My cavapoo puppy recently completed 5 training sessions with Amey. I really appreciated her practical tips and suggestions which made it easy for me to remember and repeat. Amey is clearly passionate about dogs and has a huge amount of knowledge which makes it very easy to completely trust her advice. I have received a number of compliments on how well behaved my puppy is, especially in the park. If it all unravels at 6 months I'll be straight on the phone to Amey for a few top up sessions!

Amey is extremely knowledgeable about dogs and their behaviour. She is patient and provides clear explanations on how to motivate your dog. I have a 4 year old rehomed dog and Amey was a great guide the first few months of having her. She answered questions over email in between sessions when urgent things came up and always provided thoughtful responses. Value for money was great and I would recommend Amey to any other dog owner looking for support.

I could not recommend Amey highly enough. My Cavapoo puppy Forrest has learnt so much in each session we have spent with Amey, as well as building up my confidence as a first time dog owner and trainer. In each session she gives personalised and specific training attention to any area you wish to work on, between classes offering so much continued support. I will continue training Forrest with Amey for a long time to come as Forrest has such a wonderful time and I enjoy growing as an owner. Thank you so much Amey, your the best !!! x

I had 3 sessions with Amey so far with my very enthusiastic 6m cockapoo. The sessions have been absolutely brilliant in not only helping me with new skills/ watchouts/tricks regarding recall (the area I wanted to focus on) but she has also made me feel so much more confident walking my puppy. I have enjoyed the sessions so much that I will continue to work with Amey to work on new skills now we have recall nailed!

We have done a few lessons with Amey to great success. When you get a new puppy you can watch as many YouTube vids as you want but we found it was the small little bits of advice from Amey that were the most impactful.

Amey has been our dog walker for a number of years now, after we started out in her puppy training classes!
Amey isn’t your normal dog walker - she gets to know your dogs and even sends weekly updates on how they’re getting on, with pictures! 🙂
Amey loves dogs and it really shows and I can’t recommend her highly enough!

Amey is great, very knowledgeable and is doing a great job of supportive us with our 2 year old Belgian Shepherd. We've learnt loads already just in the first 2 months and its been invaluable.
Absolutely recommend.

1/. We love Amey's Dog Services. More importantly, our dog loves them! She whines at the door when the walker leaves after dropping her off.
2/. All of the team go well beyond what is required to give us the best service and always with a smile!
3/. We've been using Amey and the team for just over a year and are really happy with all of the services whether it's training, puppy visits or daily walks. We use them with confidence that our doggie will be getting the best care and love.
4/. Communication couldn't be easier - either via whatsapp, email updates or through the website to book services.
5/. Lastly, what's best about these guys is the fact that they put the dogs before everything. Dogs first.
We strongly recommend these guys in confidence that they will do everything they can to ensure these 5 points are achieved/maintained for every customer.

Amey’s team has been looking after Yuki (now 3) since she was 6 months old and we have had nothing but positive experiences with them.
It’s clear that they love the dogs they care for and we receive weekly updates about where Yuki has been or what she has been up to. Having someone we can fully trust to look after our dog while we are at work gives us such peace of mind. The booking system is all online and really straightforward - and someone will always get back to you if you need them to. Can’t thank Amey and her team enough, and Yuki loves them too!

I was recommended Amey by someone I met in a pub who I had approached as the puppy sat at his feet was so well behaved for such a young dog. I can’t recommend Amey enough.
We opted for the 1:1 puppy package as we would have struggled to make a weekly class, this worked out perfectly as everything was tailored to our needs, in our home, at a time which was convenient for us. Amey was brilliant with Rudi our Shiba Inu puppy. I would often be messaging Amey before she came sharing what our mischief Rudi had been up to but when Amey arrived Rudi was very calm and nothing like her usual crazy self. Amey really understands dogs and knows how to put them at ease. The training was definitely for us rather than Rudi, the tips and tricks Amey shared on her visits and over messages in-between always had a quick effect on Rudi’s behaviour and helped us in our understanding of why she maybe reacting how she was and what we could do to improve the situation. These are little things we wouldn’t have picked up from books or online but from Amey spending some time with us and Rudi at home. Amey also helped us choose a vets, shared tips on feeding and everything else we would have needed being first time puppy owners. Rudi is growing up into an amazing little dog and we have the knowledge to support her development and Amey on speed dial if anything goes wrong.
Thanks for everything Amey, love Kate, Gareth and Rudi.

Amey has been walking our retired racing greyhound Rusty since we brought him home in May this year, and we couldn’t be happier with Amey’s service she provides. Calling it ‘dog walking’ doesn’t do Amey justice - what Amey does in fact, is take her dogs on adventures which they love because Amey thinks very carefully about what activities and environment will suit each dog, what they will enjoy, and which dogs will get on well together if they’re being taken out in a group.
Unlike many other dog walkers you’ll see in the area, Amey’s dogs actually seem to be having fun and enjoying themselves when they’re with her, not just being taken on the same old walk day after day! Rusty, for example, has toured the South East London park scene with Amey - Peckham Rye Park, Crystal Palace and lots of other smaller local parks with designated off-lead areas. He has had the chance to socialise with other breeds during ‘pack’ outings with some of Amey’s other lovely canine clients.
Amey uploads pictures and videos from all her dog walks (with the owner’s permission of course) to her facebook page, which means that you can see what your pooch had been up to with Amey! Checking the page has become the highlight of the day for us - Amey takes great snaps of her doggies and they always look like they’re having the best time.
Amey is also a fully qualified trainer and behaviourist with the Institute of Modern Dog Training. This means she is able to offer training on all aspects of puppy and dog behaviour. She’s worked (wonders!) on recall with Rusty, and is really good at providing support and advice when your pup is playing up.
It was Amey who picked up on some of Rusty’s dominant behaviour during their outings, which prompted a visit to the vet and a blood test which confirmed that Rusty does, in fact, have a pair of tiny testicles hidden in his abdomen! (We were told that Rusty was born without a pair). So thanks to Amey, we got to the bottom of Rusty’s behaviour, and will eventually have him neutered.
It’s a shame that Rusty can’t write this review for himself, but if he could, we’re sure he’d say this: he adores Amey, he loves his daily outings with her and all the doggy friends he’s made along the way and he simply wouldn’t be without her. And neither would we :-)

My whippet use to be really shy and didn't like to interact with other dogs, but since he is being walk by amey he is much more confident and enjoy playing with all the other dogs and he loves when it's walk time with her. I really recommend Amey to everyone!!

Would highly recommend Amey and her training service. After spending months trying to get our dog to stop pulling on the lead with no success, we finally made progress with Amey's help. She was able to pick up on other aspects that were getting in our way when training, mainly our dogs obsession with her ball. After following Amey's advice and removing the ball from our walks our dogs whole behaviour changed and she became much calmer and receptive to training while out. Amey is extremely knowledgable and her approach was so positive not only with our dog but with us as owners trying to learn. I will definitely be booking more sessions for a refresh and to work on other things.
