We've worked closely with Eryn for the last few months, dealing with a range of our whippet's behavioural difficulties. She instantly just GOT it and has helped us all tremendously. Arthur is almost unrecognisable after just a few sessions with Eryn.
She's able to distil complex dog behavioural theory and research in a way that means you properly understand your dog and why they might be acting the way they are. With that fundamental understanding, she then moves onto offering practical and easy-to-follow training techniques.
She's great. You and your dog will be grateful that you got in touch.

Me and Waldo continue to work weekly with Eryn and her team. Recently Waldo has been joining a dog walker to meet other dogs and get used to being with another person. The dog walker is just thrilled with his behaviour and is always commenting on what a fabulous and good dog he is. That is because we consider working with your pup as an ongoing process. Believe in Magic has taught me so much about my dog and how to make his life fulfilling and fun. The kind approach to dog training is wonderful. Keep investing in you and your dog. It's worth it!

During the first virtual assessment of my sofa-bound rescue dog Millie, Eryn spotted that a pain condition could be causing her nervousness and sound sensitivity. She was bang on the money. After some anti-inflammatories, a series of behavioural sessions with Eryn (for me and the dog!!) and a couple of her online training courses, Millie is a different character altogether: fun, confident, adventurous and happy! I can't thank Eryn and her team enough for the huge part they played in this transformation. Fantastic work :)

We couldn't reccomend Eryn more highly! We got our huskey lab cross puppy Lyra in lockdown and completed the Believe in Magic excellent online puppy course, we learned recall, commands and how to manage tricky behaviour.
2 months later as lockdown lifted Lyra started barking relentlessly at any new people she met especially as people came into our home for the first time in months. We did some further one to one sessions with Eryn and she instantly decoded her behaviour, gave proper insight into why it was happening and helped us to slowly turn things around. Lyra is now 80% less barky and the transformation is incredible! We couldn't have done it without Eryns amazing

Eryn has been 'training me' for about a year now and my 2 year old Briard is very pleased with how I am coming along! In all seriousness, Eryn has built a team around her who work with dog owners/guardians to bring out the best in their dogs and enjoy every stage of their development. Eryn's style is to get you totally engaged in having some fun with your dog whilst learning what they are most likely to respond well too. If you're looking to work with someone who is generous with her knowledge - yet non preachy - I can't recommend her enough.

I cannot recommend Eryn and Mary enough, we have had 1 2 1 training and puppy classes with Eryn since getting our rescue collie-cross Ned from Romania. To be honest taken on any rescue animal is a wonderful thing, they will all naturally have some challenges they need to overcome. The fabulous thing about Eryn, she does not just focus on your dog but also on you and your approach and your ability to read and understand your dog…we will be forever thankful to Eryn for helping both Ned and ourselves to grow confident and happy together.

I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Believe In Magic and Erin. Erin and the team really care about both you and your puppy and helping you navigate the uncertain, and slightly scary, world of a new puppy. Erin makes you feel more relaxed and provides you with the assurance that you're not failing! Importantly she is so positive about being able to train everyone and every puppy....it's never too late to make a difference or a change. Even in the group classes Erin will focus on you and your puppy and help you with your specific challenges or concerns. The new online approach works brilliantly and is not a second rate option to meeting face to face. I am so much more relaxed and confident now thanks to Erin :-). What makes her so special is that this is more than just a business to Erin. She genuinely cares and that's what makes her so special and such a success.

We were looking for a puppy training class at the start of lockdown and we were so lucky to find Eryn. Her online class was a lifesaver as it meant we didn’t have to wait until our puppy was vaccinated and allowed outdoors in order to start her training. She learnt so much across the sessions and so did we. Eryn is a fantastic trainer and was so thoughtful and helpful; she was always happy to help us with any issues we were having outside of our weekly classes, and we honestly would’ve been lost without her and her fabulous team!

We adopted a rescue dog from Battersea in January 2019, and soon after started training with Eryn, first privately and afterwards attending group classes. Her business name is apt as she truly works magic on her clients - she is amazing at instilling the confidence dog guardians need to have a better understanding of their dogs, consequently becoming better guardians. It’s December 2020 now and we’re still doing classes with Eryn, and have no intention of stopping as it’s been such a great experience for us and our dog. We’d thoroughly recommend her to anyone!

We have done two months of Eryn's separation anxiety online classes and also a one to one session. What has shone through throughout these sessions is Eryn's absolute passion for helping your dog based on their individual needs. This was most clearly shown when Eryn supported us through tricky vet conversations and medication issues when we were feeling completely lost at sea. Our dog Stanley will also be forever grateful to Eryn for introducing the cheese sniffing game into his walks! If you want non-judgemental, expert support from someone who cares about your dog as much as you do, then Eryn is the trainer and behaviourist for you :)

Eryn has really helped my dog improve her guarding behaviour. Friendly, responsive and great value.

Eryn is such a thoughtful, friendly and empathetic trainer. Has really helped build ours and our dog Orla’s confidence. We’ve got a better understanding of each other and our relationship has improved loads already. Thanks Eryn!

Eryn is the most wonderful dog trainer! She amazes me every time we meet with the amount of knowledge she has about all things dog - it is truly astounding. She is a positive reinforcement trainer that proves every time that it's possible to work with a puppy, older dog, or even a dog with a tricky behavioural issues, with these kinder methods. She will certainly help you build a better relationship based on trust and mutual respect with your dog. Eryn holds puppy classes and follow classes where clients make such strides every time, that you can see they leave amazed at what they and their dog achieved! Eryn will go out of her way to help people, she has the kindest heart and dogs know it - they love her! I have been incredibly lucky to have Eryn as my mentor, via the Victoria Stilwell Academy, as I learn to become a dog trainer. If I could be half as good as Eryn I would feel very accomplished! I highly recommend her services - it is worth the extra travel!

Eryn and her team are just fantastic. Poppy and I have attended group classes and had some 121 sessions and I highly recommend.
Eryn's knowledge and passion shine through and she has a lovely way of communicating with both humans and dogs!
We have a busy household and two young children and Eryn completely gets it and her training and behaviour management advice always factors in not just what is needed for Poppy but what is manageable and attainable for me.
Eryn has helped us immensely and she is always my go to with anything pooch related. Poppy and I are both very glad we found Believe in Magic!

About four weeks ago, my partner and I welcomed our first ever dog into our lives - a small, lovable spaniel mix who is about three and a half months old now. Having a puppy is both wonderful and very hard work, and I have no idea how we would have coped without Eryn. It's difficult to think of instances where I've considered money better spent than it is on asking Eryn to work with us one-on-one. To explain a bit further, to anyone reading this who finds themselves in a similar position...
You will only drive yourself crazy reading advice on the web or, worse, pretty much *all* of the puppy books. Almost every decision you can make about how to deal with a puppy will have wildly different schools of thought about it, including from vets, dog care services, Mumsnet, random forums about dogs with website designs from the 90s that you find yourself reading at 3am when you are exhausted, upset and don't understand why your puppy is howling and what you should do about it.
Before we got our puppy, and before I knew any of the above, I decided to ask Eryn to come for an initial one-on-one training session (for 1.5 hours) in our home because she has nice reviews online, her CV demonstrates that she is well-qualified, and she invests in continuously developing her skills.
Now I know that nothing can compare to having an experienced behaviourist meet you and your puppy in your home to work with you, counsel you and answer the long list of questions you are likely to have about your new dog. Every dog is different. Books and web forums don't meet you and your dog and adjust their advice accordingly.
Asides from being brilliant with our dog, Eryn's style is warm, caring and non-judgemental. She works hard, makes herself accessible for follow-up questions by phone (within reason - she has a family), and is highly professional.
If, like me, your memory is awful, not to worry, as Eryn produces handy reports about what was covered in a given session with instructions on follow-up training.
She is always patient, checking in at regular intervals when she's going over concepts to make sure I am following. I suspect she can read humans as well as dogs as when my head starts to hurt from trying to take something in, she stops and says "too much?" then dials it back.
I think we've had 5 or 6 sessions with Eryn now and have more booked in, and we are looking forward to her puppy classes too. I fully expect that we will have an ongoing relationship with her throughout our dog's life.
She's helped us understand our dog and his needs so much better than we did to begin with, and we can see him making progress in different areas including sleeping in his crate, "down", being in the car and toilet training.
In addition to this, I highly appreciate how easy it is to book sessions with Eryn. The online booking system is straight-forward and it's easy to add follow-up sessions of different amounts/times. I think we'll stick to booking the 1hr x 6 option. It's also helpful that Eryn has availability on Saturdays and weekday slots as late as 6pm.
In short, if you are struggling, or just have some things you'd like to work on with your pup, I highly recommend Eryn. It'll be a great experience for both you and your dog.

Eryn is very knowledgeable, professional and engaging. We had an initial home consultation with our rescue dog and she got to work with him immediately she walked through the door. He responded very well and has continued to improve in his behaviour every day. It is all still a work in process but with all the help, pointers, tip and a plan in place from Eryn (emailed over all the training tips to remind me of what to do). We keep taking steps forward. Really looking forward to starting the weekly classes in the next few weeks. Best money spent on him.

had a 7 m getting adolescent pup who's recall went astray. Did the 3w zoom recall retraining - following instructions and it really helped! Really like that all the sessions recorded/downloaded for referring back to, and free prompt sheets/guides. Highly recommened

Myself and my pup recently had a 1-1 session and it was so helpful I jumped at the chance to sign us up for Beginner Life Skills which is a 6 weeks online course - we’ve just completed and it’s been so fab that I’ve signed us up for a follow up course!
I would highly recommend both the course and the 1-1 sessions (which are particularly useful if you have a specific concern and was really helpful to me in filtering out all of the conflicting advice I’d read on various internet sites!).
The course is excellent value for money. Weekly training materials are sent in advance with video demonstrations and the online sessions are recorded so you can refer back as and when needed which has been invaluable for me to quickly check back to refresh my memory. The course covers all of the essentials to get you and your pup off to a great start like sit, down, recall, lead walking, drop as well as focus, engaging and disengaging, freework and lots of other useful techniques.
Eryn and Rachel are amazing teachers who explain and demonstrate each new skill with the lovely Lupin before coaching you through with your pup - they are both so friendly, patient and knowledgeable and made the sessions so much fun for both me and my pup - it is like playing fun games rather than a chore. The course has really helped me to see the world from the point of view of my pup.
Every week I have been delighted at how quickly we both learn our new skills and believe that the online format has accelerated our learning - my pup is quite easily distracted by sounds, smells and other dogs (as pups are!) so I doubt we’d have been able to progress as quickly at ‘in person’ classes.
Update on 20th Jan -
Me and my pup recently completed the ‘Love Potion’ recall class - I’d highly recommend this short course, it really is like magic! After just two of the three sessions my pup was literally bounding towards me with enthusiasm when I recalled her! We still have practice to to do in more distracting situations, but I feel confident that we now have all of the tools to be able to do this. The training included lots of games to play with my dog which can also be used for recall, so much more fun for both my dog and me than just calling her name repeatedly.

Absolutely fabulous training with practical examples and offline videos and tutorials. My puppy has come on leaps and bounds during the puppy classes. And virtually means we can do the classes anywhere we are. Well worth doing!

I came across Eryn through the APBC webinar she ran on using online platforms. I’ve only ever used a select set of e-learning products, so finding out about new options and the discounts available at the moment was very helpful. It is great to see a trainer who isn’t afraid to share their knowledge to help others out instead of being protective and selfish. Thank you so much for your help and support.

Just brilliant. Eryn has helped so many dogs in our daycare and provided continuous excellent training with all our staff. Amazing knowledgable in so many areas. Force free in her beliefs and really helps dogs and their guardians.

Myself and woody our one year old cocker spaniel have just completed his teenage transitional class with eryn and her team and we both really enjoyed the classes, we've gained some useful skills and tools to manage any potential future anxious situations as well as giving me some fun ideas of ways to interact with woody, highly recommended, will definitely be looking to do some more training with eryn in the future.
