Our experience with Howl: School for dogs was amazing , Kerry has taught me more in 1 hour than all the other trainers & behaviourists we’ve had over 20 years. Kerry helped me understand the needs of our rescue puppy.
Behaviours which I thought were destructive were her way of showing us what she likes to do, for example treats taped inside an egg box, (she loves to shred any kind of box )lick mats , frozen kongs , letting her dictate what she sniffs On her walk. All of the above has given us a calmer dog. Kerry has taught us to get into her dog world & not expect her to automatically fit in to ours. We have boundaries of course, but they are done with love, kindness and a deeper understanding of dog behaviour . A truly holistic approach which I love. Marnie is still learning about the world around her, allowing her to choose who & what she approaches , allowing her to explore at her pace not ours .
Thank you

Science based, professional, force-free and fun dog training. I attended Howl puppy school for 6 weeks which was an incredible support in the early days of pet guardianship. In a small group we learned force-free, positive reinforcement based techniques as well as socialising our pets. Kerry is a qualified professional, able to share her knowledge in an accessible and fun way. I also engaged Kerry for some at home 1:2:1 sessions for specific behavioural needs. These were well worth the investment and really helped us. I found Kerry through recommendation so I’m keen to pass on my extremely positive experience to others.

I can’t say enough good things about Kerry. She genuinely loves dogs and is totally invested in giving them and their humans the right skills and tips to help even the most complex of cases. I adopted a new rescue in September. He was originally from Romania and was totally traumatised by what he had experienced over there. He had no previously been rehomed with another family but was given up after biting several times.
I’m so happy to say he is like a new dog these days, he’s calm, trusting, happy and is excited to go outside for walks (which he never wanted to do at first). I’ve not finished Roscoes rehabilitation but we have literally made so much progress with Kerry’s help.
She makes sure to understand the specific needs of your dog, their breed and history. Her lesson plans are detailed and thorough. I’d recommend her without a doubt.

In short Kerry is amazing. Her approach to dog training is exactly what we were looking for - fear free, scientific based methods. She took the time to understand what we needed and found simple effective solutions to any difficulties were we’re having. Happy dog, happy humans!

We had our first session with Kerry yesterday. She is helping us with our dog who has started to become aggressive/ anxious around puppies. She is very friendly, professional and gave us great advice. Hopefully her techniques help but still very early days. Look forward to continuing to work with her.

Kerry was very patient with my fearful rescue dog and within a few minutes she conquered her (with yummy salmon and loads of positive reinforcement). Since our session with her and following her tricks we have managed to welcome people in our home and made a huge progress! I would completely recommend Kerry for general training and also to help with fearful rescue dogs. Happy dog=happy owner here 😊

Kerry is a fantastic trainer, she is warm, kind, understanding and knows her stuff!
She has been helping me with my reactive pup, who is mostly scared of traffic, loud noises and strangers. She showed me what I needed to do, the techniques I should use, and helped devise a training plan with clear objectives in mind, which immediately helped me feel better and less overwhelmed about everything.
The training is ongoing, and probably will be for a long time (maybe even forever), but I am seeing huge improvements in my pup's behaviour and mental state when he's outside.
Kerry is very responsive and she returns messages and calls immediately.

Kerry is a very competent, flexible, patient and professional dog trainer. Her methods are effective with quick results. My puppy is highly excitable and Kerry's ability to focus him was like magic! Thanks Kerry.

Kerry is such a fantastic, intuitive dog trainer. She is so calm and kind. Our rescue dog had some anxiety issues when we got him and Kerry assisted us with helping him settle. We can highly recommend her services. Kerry is highly experienced, respectful and punctual. We had great results from her patient work with our lovely dog.

I have a 7 month Yorkiepoo and started training with Kerry a couple of weeks ago.
Although my puppy doesn't have any behavioural issues I just wanted to embed consistency and adopt an approach that will always work.
Kerry has been brilliant with my little puppy and he was able to learn so quickly. We have been practising at home with him and look forward to booking more sessions.
After our initial session Kerry sent a detailed follow up with notes which has been super helpful.
If you are looking for quality one to one sessions I cant recommend Kerry enough.
