You won't find a more professional, dedicated and caring dog-walker in the UK than Lucy at Leading the Way. Lucy is a very special, one-of-a-kind dog walker and brings great joy to our lives. Our Cavapoo, Moose, is reactive, which Lucy handles brilliantly through her Association of Pet Dog Trainers positive reinforcement training. From day 1, Lucy knew exactly how to build a rapport with Moose and manage his reactivity triggers. By the end of Moose's first walk, he was giving Lucy goodbye cuddles when it was time for her to drop him home. We trust Lucy implicitly and have always felt completely at ease with Moose in Lucy's care. Moose has developed excellent recall on group walks with Lucy and now walks off-lead and recalls very reliably amidst many distractions. Lucy is committed to giving your four-legged friend an enriching walk on every occasion with lots of variety and different locations. Lucy has become a dear friend of our little family and Moose certainly considers her as his second mother. If you are looking for a dog-walker that goes above and beyond and takes care of your four-legged friend as if her own, then look no further.

We are so thankful we found Lucy and her team, as we had around 5 dog walkers that have not been reliable. She is so good at communicating what they are doing each day and plans ahead to cover her days when she will be unavailable. She’s been amazing to us over the last 8months and it’s great to finally have a dog walker that you can rely on. She sends pictures of what they get up to in the day which is great added bonus for peace of mind. I couldn’t recommend her and her team enough!

All you could want from a dog walking service. Lucy and her team are very dedicated, professional and above all, they really love dogs! Our dog loves her weekly adventures running around with her pack, and always comes back absolutely happy as can be and totally knackered! We also love receiving photos from Grainne and Lucy of their daily adventures. Our little rescue dog Bella was so nervous around new people when we first adopted her. We trialed a few walkers before finding Lucy, who we could tell straight away has a very special way with dogs and it didn’t take long for her to gain Bella’s trust and love. We couldn’t recommend Leading the Way enough. Woof!
