Training my puppy, Max with Hanna was a great decision! She's calm and professional and developed a brilliant rapport with him immediately. Hanna is very knowledgeable and full of tips not only about training, but about all aspects of looking after a dog and this really helped me in the first few weeks when I was finding my way! After each session, Hanna follows up with a brilliant email detailing out everything we did and including links for her recommendations. I have looked back on them several times over the past weeks to remind myself of her tips and advice. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Hanna and she's worth every penny!

Cooper is a 5 month old English Bull Terrier, part terrier part terror. Siobhan Harvey has been working with us for 4 weeks now and I am amazed by the change in him. On Siobhan's first visit, Cooper nipped her jumped all over her and bit and pulled at her clothing. All of this negative behavior has been diverted into training him to be focused and to respond in a correct way to get attention, I have really enjoyed Siobhan being around she makes me feel like superwoman, lol I would be more than happy to recommend her she is an absolute delight and is so patient, and explains things so well, I am so grateful. Cooper is so much better behaved and he enjoys his training as it is in the form of games for him so he loves it. He has stopped nipping, he no longer rips my clothes and he is much calmer when people visit. He has learnt drop, leave it and off, he is learning stay and he is learning recall at the moment and is doing great, Siobhan made me feel confident and calm in training Cooper. After each session I got an email recapping what we had worked on and this is fantastic I tend to pull it up before every walk then pick one or two of the points and practice them during our walk so it is always different and fun. If I ever have any issues in the future with him I will contact Siobhan.

We had several family sessions with Siobhan in the early weeks of having our puppy and she was great. We got not only useful instructions on how to train particular important behaviours, but also a clear idea of how to train our puppy in general which continues to serve us well. Siobhan always supplied comprehensive notes after each session and was very responsive to any questions in between sessions. It was great to have such solid support in the early weeks of dog ownership and I would highly recommend her.

Hanna is beyond brilliant. I first contacted her when we were thinking about getting a puppy and she couldn't have been more helpful in talking to me about different breeds and what might suit our family. From the first lesson before Rosie came home to us, helping us prep our house and think about her arrival, to being on hand at every stage in her training. It's obvious how much she adores dogs, and how much she knows about dogs and how to integrate them into one's life. She is always so quick to follow-up and so responsive - and Rosie obviously adored her sessions with her. I can not recommend Hanna highly enough - and our pup is so beautifully behaved, we can't believe it. I've already recommended Hanna to lots of friends with new puppies - and those with older dogs who have commented on how well Rosie is trained. Thank you Hanna for making the transition to being dog owners so smooth.

We are so glad we found Swalkies and the lovely Siobhan. We attended her fabulous puppy class and found them to be brilliant. Siobhan is very knowledgeable and has such a calm and patient manner in the way she goes about teaching the training methods. My Vizsla puppy Lily absolutely adored Siobhan and we could not believe the progress Lily made thanks to her. She has an incredible talent for being able to communicate with all breeds of dogs. Siobhan has been instrumental in the training of our first puppy. As new puppy parents we were very nervous of getting his training off on the right foot. However, Siobhan made the whole experience not only feel easy but enjoyable and rewarding from start to finish. Her generosity extents way past the sessions, as she was always on hand to answer some of the many questions that we had, and the notes she sends through after sessions are worth their weight in gold! Thanks to her we now have a beautiful well balanced and happy 6 month old puppy, and this simply wouldn’t have been possible without her down to earth yet completely professional coaching style. After searching the local area for a suitable dog trainer Hanna seemed liked the perfect fit - and we were not wrong. From the initial consultation via zoom (because of Covid) Hanna showed incredible professionalism and knowledge to help ease all our queries/worries about getting a puppy. Noa has benefited enormously (as have we as a family) from everything that Hanna taught us. From the basic commands to the more complex stuff, Hanna makes the effort to really break down everything she is teaching to help build up to achieve the end goal. Having a puppy can be a nerve wracking experience and getting off to the right start makes such a difference. I'm so pleased I contacted Swalkies and found Siobhan. Her role is to train owners, not to train their dogs and she does this superbly. I would definitely recommend Siobhan. She has given us some fun, easy to remember, effective games/tools to train our Norfolk. We tried puppy classes first and were hesitant to spend more money on training but we definitely don't regret it. Worth investing in a well-trained dog before it's too late!
