Petrina is a fantastic trainer who has made us better owners of our pup. Her advice has been invaluable. We started with a one-on-one Zoom which I would recommend to anyone with a new dog. She was non-judgmental (hard in a field where there is so much conflicting advice) and had great suggestions on how to fix early biting behaviour and adjust puppy expectations, it really felt like she was working alongside us and championing us to become the best owners we could be. We followed on with her puppy classes which were really well structured and enjoyable for all who attended. People have commented on how well trained our puppy has been even at 12 weeks and that’s all down to Petrina. She really cares about you and your dog, listens intently and no issue was too big or small. 5 stars!

Petrina's puppy classes were recommended to us by our vet and we weren't disappointed. Petrina taught us everything we needed to train our JRT pup, with plenty of guidance and exercises to practice during the week. The group classes are small enough that you get one-on-one attention, advice about adapting exercises to your dog's level and time to ask questions during the class. Petrina was also very helpful when I contacted her with questions about training and behavioural issues during the week. In the end we did both the puppy and intermediate courses. At the moment, we are continuing with training at home, using Petrina's methods, and shall return to do some more training with Petrina in September. Highly recommended.

I Found Petrina at ‘The Pet Coach’ through an online search for a behaviourist who specialised in Separation anxiety. The online consultation was easy and allowed for a live behaviour assessment and an in depth conversation. Petrina made me feel at ease and was very understanding of the struggles we were having. She provided a great depth of knowledge and a step by step plan for moving forward. She was also willing to communicate with other professionals working with our dog and share her expertise on the subject. We are now on the road to a much happier dog and can’t thank Petrina enough for her support.

Petrina's puppy training classes have done wonders!! Petrina teaches YOU how to train your puppy and every week we saw amazing results. She gives you weekly exercises to practice, supplies you with everything you'll need, keeps updated with you via email and offers follow on classes which is great!! Couldn't recommend enough - she's THE dog whisperer!!

Petrina has made a huge difference in our pup Magnus' training and our confidence around raising him. We've done both one on one and puppy classes (over Zoom due to current lockdown) and have found both hugely useful. Petrina is patient, knowledgeable and genuinely cares about everyone's progression, with all the classes well structured and plenty of online materials to support us throughout. She's also been on hand to answer our questions and worries outside of classes for which we're incredibly thankful.

Petrina's puppy and intermediate classes have been so helpful for my dog and I to learn how to work together. The classes focus on positive training techniques, lots of rewards as well as working with your dogs natural foibles. They are good fun and it's easy to practice bits and pieces at home.

Took Petrina's 6 week beginners course with my Boston Terrier puppy. Petrina was great. The sessions were held out doors and she was always fully equipped for every scenario. Instructions were clear and my pup loved her and the sessions. She helped me out with selecting a new harness and often gave out little freebies for both dogs and owners. My pup picked up skills quickly and I can't wait to enrol him on the next course :)

Well organised and structured online training sessions. Petrina is thorough and straight forward, with simple training exercises as well as allaying any concerns/questions. Would highly recommend a one-to-one session early on too, to get the process started with your puppy.
