Our lives would not be the same if we hadn't got our dogs to Emma, and I wish we had done sooner. We had previously worked with trainers who 'couldn't help us' with our issues. Emma did more in one session than we or they had managed to in months. We've continued training with Emma and our own practise and now have two dogs that are a pleasure to live with, but most importantly, the dogs are now safe and happy. Thank you Emma!

My 11month old Bully was impossible to walk with pulling on the lead and showing reactivity towards other dogs, but by the end of the session her walking had improved massively and we now have more control over her around other dogs!! Thanks to Emma we now really look forward to our walks!!

Had our first session with Emma today. So happy with our progress after just one hour! Struggling with a large breed reactive dog has not been fun. Avoiding busy places and times etc. There wasn't a training video or tip I hadn't looked at. Such a simple but effective approach taken. It is clear that Emma knows dogs!! We even walked past dogs playing off lead....with a ball!! Amazing. Homework time for us before next session.

We took our 1 year old cocker to Emma for training as he would bark at new people & dogs near him and in the house.
By implementing the training Emma gave us, the improvement we have seen in Leo over such a busy festive period has been unbelievable. Friends and family have all commented on the lack of barking, so much so, we now have visitors where he does not bark at all.
Having previously been with another trainer for several months prior to Emma, we appreciated her no nonsense approach, and for being honest in advising we do not need more sessions, but would be around to assist over the phone if necessary. She also gave us confidence.
Most defiantly would recommend Emma to anyone. She even helped by advising on local walkers, places to go, and group dog walks.

Having been quite nervous and apprehensive about sending my German shepherd, Luna,to residential training (after trying so many other trainers) I can honestly say I was beyond amazed at how Emma turned around Luna’s reactive ness towards other dogs. I didn’t think this was possible but a month later I was able to walk Luna in our park with other dogs in sight and finally have a dog that was a pleasure to walk without any barking and lunging.
Emma ensured I was kept updated with Luna’s progress through pictures and videos and the handover was really thorough to ensure I was able to confidently continue her training at home. Emma still remains on hand to answer any questions I have had so it’s lovely to see this ongoing support. My only regret is that I hadn’t contacted Emma sooner!
I would absolutely recommend her . She’s professional, reliable and friendly. And also completely changed my relationship with my dog.
Emma- thank you so much!

Emma is a fantastic dog trainer. The quality of her work is brilliant, she always goes the extra mile and her customer service skills are spot on. Emma has helped me with my nervous and unpredictable dog and always been open and honest about the possible outcomes and my own responsibility to carry on with the training religiously. I would recommend Emma 100% to anything dog related - biting, pulling on a lead or even competitive sports.

I can’t recommend Emma enough!
I have a 8month old, very intelligent and powerful male Chinese Red dog and wanted to make sure I had the right trainer as this breed is fairly unknown in the UK currently.
We’re only two sessions in and I can’t believe what we’ve achieved already. Having my dog walk by my side without any pulling within minutes on lesson one says it all!
Emma’s a fantastic teacher and always there if I have any questions. I’m astonished at how quickly were progressing and can’t wait to continue the obedience journey!

Sent our German Shepherd to Emma and am very pleased with the outcome, prior to the training she was unable to walk outdoors without barking at other dogs and sometimes people too, after the intense course with Emma, Luna was able to go from a very nervous dog on lead to a more confident manageable dog,
she's able to walk on the lead very well without feeling the need to bark at other dogs on our walks! amazed at the results as I didn't think it was possible for Luna to change so quickly, its had a domino affect and her overall behaviour has improved immensely!
very pleased with the outcome and completely recommend Emma!

I honestly can't thank Emma enough for helping me with my boy. I was at a total loss with walking him because of his pulling but he was transformed in just 1 session!! I went straight home and took him out for a walk and I enjoyed every second of it. I couldn't be any happier and I will recommend her to everyone I know. Thanks again, you really are a miracle worker.

My dog trixie was a rescue from 1 year, it seemed she was used for breeding and she was very reactive to animals and humans, bursts of aggression were normal. It got to the point where we were going to put her down as we were due a baby sept 2021.
Trixie went with Emma for 4 weeks, we asked that her general obediance was looked at, walking loose lead, less reactive etc.
we recieved 1/2 videos a week from emma, which for me was more than enough, to be honest i was glad to see trxie walking loose lead but really how much of an update can you get after 7/14 days when my dog has shown aggression for 2.5 yesrs. i was just happy that she was with someone who clearly knew what they were doing.
when we met emma for the handover it was at a local lake, fairly busy with dogs and we done a practice walk and a chat, of course as trixie has just come from being with emma she was very obediant and we were delighted.
Over the next few weeks you could see Trixie try snd get back to her old ways and we had to make changes to keep her in check, her cage is now in the kitchen by the back door, she gets fresh air and no triggers from the front door or dogs walking past the frontroom window, where it was based before. We control where shes allowed in the house, if we are upstairs the front room door is closed and she can access the kitchen and hallway landing. she isnt allowed to lay on the sofa at all unless i decide - pretty rare, she isnt allowed on our bed at all, she is fed once a day and treats are rare and rationed so that she isnt over fed.
Trixie has come on leaps and bounds since going to emmas, when she came back we had to make changes because we didnt want to put our dog down. I would recommend Emma to anybody, she will set you and your dog on the right path, its then down to you to manage it, if somethings not working, whats the trigger? why did it happen? can we avoid it?
Thanks Emma,

Had a very successful first training session with Emma, I was so pleased with the results and have kept it going and even had a lovely walk this morning again so I can definitely recommend!!

It was a hell to walk with Nanachi. He jumped to people every time, totally scared, always pushing the lead. Now I can walk with him with confidence.
He is a dog with problems, and he has had a poor socialization, but now he is able to walk outside without going nuts and reacting negatively to people or cars.
I am really happy with his progress and how Bark Club has treated me, a first time dog owner.

I can't recommend Emma enough. She has helped transform Missie into a confident dog. We first met Emma in a one to one, which I'd highly recommend! Our dog is 7 years old. It's never too late, which she proves every day. Emma taught us more than the dog, isn't it always the way! She is always on call as well if you havenany questions or need a boost of confidence, which is generally all we need. Recently Missie wouldn't go out the house because of fireworks, but we are now able to walk her in the dark again without much protest with Emma's continued support. Emma will always be apart of our family now. Whenever we need her, we know we only have to message or call.

I cannot recommend Emma and the Bark Club highly enough. She's a fantastic behaviourist and has helped us immensely with our reactive rescue pooch. Her reactive dog walks are fantastic and a great way to meet other dog owners going through the same thing. Thank you Emma!

Emma was amazing, she helped with our Dogue de Bordeaux cross who was pulling on the lead, now dog walks are actually enjoyable! Her classes over the summer really helped with our confidence and Rossi's socialisation, could not recommend her more

I contacted Emma desperately needing some help with our 10 month old Spaniel who felt threatened and had started to lash out. Emma responded immediately and was understanding of our problem. We arranged a 1-1 meet where we explained that chesney was suffering from a trauma. Emma then helped us understand how chesney was feeling, gave advice on the correct lead to use, improve my body language, recall training tips, rewards and keeping calm.
Emma also put together a plan to use going forward.
I can’t believe how informative the one season was and how much I learnt.
Emma is a professional and I felt completely at ease & reassured in her company. I’m looking forward to the next session. Thank you Emma you’ve no idea how much you’ve helped us

First one to one session done today with Emma who was very encouraging and explained things in a friendly and non judgemental way. Together we worked through the issues and she explained how to work on these, demonstrated ‘how to’ and then gave me lots of time to practice with my dog. Would highly recommend Bark Club.

Emma is a brilliant trainer I had the pleasure of meeting her awhile ago and would have no hesitation in recommending her. I wish she was closer to me.

Completely different dog, I'm absolutely amazed with the results, after trying multiple dog trainers Emma came to the rescue and she just knew straight away the best strategy for my rescue dog to learn, Rossi went from being unresponsive to now being walked off lead, amazing transformation! Thank you
