Just had our Cavapoo in for his first puppy wash, trim and nail cut. Really nice staff, very helpful during my phonecall. Really happy with the cut. He's looking super smart and smells lovely. Staff recommended he doesn't need to come back till puppy hair has grown out. Given it's our first time with this breed it's nice to know the staff are honest and not out to take your money. Don't see a need to go anywhere else when it's time for our dog to be groomed. Would definitely recommend 👍

£7.00 to get my cats claws clipped, what a bargin. It was all done in 10 mins from parking 15 metres away, which is handy in its self, to getting back in the car. Cat was calm, a lot more content than me trying to do it myself and because they were fairly long and in need of a trim i can see she is walking a lot better not getting stuck in the carpet or bedding. Much easier than a visit to the vet, wish i had did it sooner. It is also covid 19 safe, the staff wear masks, there are signs on the door allowing only 2 people in the store at any one time, keeping the 2 metre distance was easy there is plenty to see in the store whilst you wait. I will be back thanks to all the staff and keep up the good work.👍😎🇬🇧

Staff were exceptional! Bathed and groomed my dog to perfection. They were all very professional and took the time to explain things to me. Whilst I was waiting I had a look around the shop and WOW they have everything you could ever need! And it's all very fairly priced too. I will 100% be returning for my dogs next groom! Absolutely wonderful! Had my mini goldendoodle groomed there yesterday and she looks beautiful. She was totally chilled out and happy when we picked her up. The lady who groomed her was lovely, really listened to what we wanted and is a talented groomer. Happy puppy and happy owners!

Fantastic service, rang up to see if they could deliver some cat food this morning and they were so helpful. Took my order, paid over the phone and they delivered it 20 minutes later. Good selection of quality cat food, I also bought bird seed and a cat toy - all great. Top service especially in light of the current situation, won't hesitate to use them again.

First visit is free she had a bath, coat trim and nails cut, she seemed very happy when I returned and she looked and smelt wonderful. The staff seemed very good and looked after her well from what I could tell. I would recommend this business for other pet owners and I will definitely return for her next full groom. It's easy to find, and ideal to grab a coffee for 45 mins while your pet is being pampered.

We had our rabbit here for the first time. We were really nervous after having gizmo in a pet boarding place before where he was neglected. The staff are really warm and friendly and nothing was a bother. I picked him up from the pet shop today finding him in excellent condition and really happy and relaxed. I was so happy with the way he was. He was playful and eating out their hands which was a huge difference from the previous pet boarding place. I would highly recommend this place and if their was an award they would deserve it. Thanks very much :-)

Nice staff they didn't had a colour off budgie l wanted the lass service me recommended go to jollyies at West Denton she rang up for me see if they had any budgies and went on Google maps and see what buses 2 get very helpful to me 2 best pet shops in North East is jollyies and forpaws they both have outstanding value great prices aswell both fantastic shops great staff in both them l recommended u stick with these 2 pet shops if u want best prices and nice animals like budgies avoid pet corner north shileds don't go there 👍again go to jollyies forpaws and the discount center pet shop byker nice quality millet great stuff in for your animals but they don't sell budgies again jollyies forpaws best petshop for budgies

My 3 rats have just stayed at For Paws small animal boarding centre for a week and I wanted to leave a review to say how impressed I was at their service. The owner was so kind and incredibly understanding as I asked if they could arrange the cage in a particular way, which they did and even sent me a photo to put my mind at rest. They were very accommodating and kindly followed my dietry requests. I would highly recommend them to other pet owners. My little girls will definitely be going back for their holiday - thank you very much For Paws!!

I am overjoyed at discovering this place. I had my puppy to a previous groomers on 2 separate occasions from bei g 5 months the idea being to get her used to it but I felt I had traumatised her. She was physically shaking when I dropped her off....subsequently the groomers told me she was difficult and they couldn't really do a lot and said I'd have to bring her back a few more times to settle her. I didn't have a good feeling about it. I was recommended forpaws by a man walking his dog and I'm so glad he did... I dropped pup off and she was at ease straight away she went in relaxed and came out relaxed.... And beautifully groomed. She looks stunning I can't thank Julie enough... She obviously is a professional. This will now be my place to go. Very happy..

Love the animals and gear you get from here. Got a lovely hamster few months back and the staff are wonderful, always willing. BUT I got 2 rabbits from here and one died less than 24 hrs and the other 2 days later. Thought it was my fault but I know it no one but just found out it was calicivirus which is hard 2 tell in rabbits apparently they just have the symptoms then pass away. I'm not going to get rabbits again fro. Here because they were passed on from a breeder who should have known but now kids are devastated. But this can happen to anyone so not shops fault. Was offered a rabbit when first one died but because both died, I'm wanting money back, which I think they will due to them being 3 month old baby rabbits with calicivirus.

I would highly recommend this place. We had our rabbit there for a week and he came back totally calm. He usually suffers really bad anxiety getting really stressed easily but he came back totally relaxed and happy. The staff are really warm and friendly and nothings a hassle.
