J. V.I was lucky enough to be chosen by my lovely dog Jazz 13 years ago here it was a perfect match and she and all the other animals were very well cared for. I sadly had to say goodbye to her a few weeks ago she was 16. When I am ready I will go there again and hopefully be lucky again

T.Came to get my cat neutered. The whole experience was very smooth. It was fully explained when I dropped the cat off and then when I collected I was then given more information and advice.
S. G.I popped in here to "look" and I left a deposit on a beautiful black and white kitten. I picked him up 4 days later after he had been neutered. Hes gorgeous and funny. I live him to bits

A. S.We rescued a dog from here 3 years ago. Best decision we ever made. The staff were amazing and so helpful. We will definitely be rescuing again. It really opened out eyes when we first visited. We now make regular donations to support them and can't wait until the centre reopens

We've just been through the Covid 19 compliant adoption process and have to say it was superbly handled from start to finish. The staff were helpful and informative at every stage, and given that we were unable to meet her until we collected her, they managed to match us up with the perfect cat.

J. B.We are adopting a dog from Radcliffe RSPCA, had numerous phone calls and e mails, all very friendly and professional, then visited for the first time last week to meet our new furbaby. Such lovely staff and all of the animals were so well cared for, their environment was really nice and everyone clearly cared very deeply about the dogs. Very good procedures in place and very accommodating. They matched our application form to our new dog before we even saw her and she is perfect. Would highly recommend adopting from Radcliffe.

V. E.We visited here when looking for a new cat to join our family. The place was clean and the cats appeared to be looked after well. The reception staff were friendly and very helpful. The only problems were that one staff member didn't appear to know much about any of the cats (history etc) and out of around 20 cats, only two were available for adoption! Hopefully this isn't always the case and was only because a wave of cats had come in all at once. I've now adopted a cat from another RSPCA rescue centre but would have no hesitation going back to this one in the future.
W. T.Lovely place to find a great pet. However the dogs would perhaps benefit from further enrichment. A walk twice a day is great but some dogs really struggle with being in kennels. Toys or balls or even a blanket in their beds would be comforting for them. But very clean spaces for the dogs
B. B.A lovely place. The parking is good, with lots of space. Reception was efficient, directing you where to go. We went to the cattery which was very clean and modern. A lot of cats and kittens, all house in beautiful, clean and warm pens. There wasn't a cat there for us at that time, and I was told to keep checking their website.
S.RSPCA is so good in so many ways these people deserve a medal who work there.

C. P.Really good with my two kittens, went in for castration and there was something wrong with one of my kittens eyes too and they just sorted it for free, really good service

K.After recently adopting a kitten from Radcliffe, I noticed that he had what looked like sore eyes, so I phoned and explained this to the centre, they said see how he goes over the next day or two, when I rang again they said, he's in for his injection on Monday so we'll have a look then, on Monday the vet looked at his eyes and said Quote his eyes are red but he'll be fine. Not happy with that, so I took him to my own vet, to fine he had very bad conjunctivitis, costing £60. It's not the money at all, I want my kitten to be well and not in any discomfort. I do think however, that animals should be double checked if that's what it takes, to make sure people adopt a healthy animal.

F. T.The staff are always so helpful. They genuinely care about the animals in the shelter. It's so important to have information about each animal before you decide to adopt. You get a written summary of the animal. Their character and needs are outlined as you view each pod. You can then judge for yourself if you are suited. It's so reassuring to see the dedication of all the staff and the volunteers. It gives animal lovers piece of mind and each animal a fighting chance to be placed in the right new home.
C. M.We've recently adopted a dog from here. You can see the love that all of the staff have for every animal that's there, so hard working and helpful. Plenty of parking spaces, good choice of animal accessories and food at reception available at very reasonable prices. Anybody thinking of getting a new furry family member, consider giving a cat or dog at a rescue centre a second chance rather than buying a puppy or kitten elsewhere.

O. F.Very clean ,and animals had large space to move about they looked quite happy . staff very helpful and friendly large outside exercise area well kept. Very impressed with new centre and the animal's new accommodation . I will re-visit at a further date for another pet highly recommend they do their very best to help you find the pet you are looking for.and there are lot's of them to see all waiting to see you .

S. P.This is a brilliant rescue centere had all our dogs from there staff are fantastic cant wait to see new building. Will always support this rescue. Would def reccommend you look here for a pet it says RSPCA but its independant from them is self funding.

H. H.But if advice - if you are using sat nav to get to Radcliffe RSPCA please don’t use the address or postcode, it will take you somewhere else entirely! Instead from the M1 follow the A52 towards Grantham, and you will see it in your before the turning for Radcliffe on Trent. Once we got there the staff were lovely and so helpful. We found a lovely little dog!
J. T.We went to the rescue centre for a new cat or kitten none available. People give others a hard time for not using rescue centres but when they genuinely go to them you cant get one anyway.
N. S.The RSPCA is a charity that supports & re-homes cats, dogs & other domestic pets. The centre at Ratcliffe on Trent is located close to Nottingham city, stray, homeless and pets requiring rehoming are cared for here. You are warmly welcomed to visit & if you are looking to rehome a pet the staff would be only to willing to discuss and give due consideration to your request.
K. L.I prefer the rspca to some other shelters as you can communicate through bars instead of a full glass panel, you can also view them outside as well as inside. It's fairly clean but unless someone's on hand to clean up every wee or whatever its not always going to be!
