Would thoroughly recommend Sue’s puppy training. Was real fun to attend, Sue’s so funny! The training was great and we were given hand outs to take away and practice with weekly. Cupid (dogs name) really enjoyed it too, in fact I think we’ve learnt that he thrives when in training mode. We’ve got all the tools we need now and hope to make Cupid a happy and obedient fella. It’s worth going just for Sue alone! Ha.

Jess my goldendoodle puppy and I can't reccomend the experience highly enough! Sue and Neave (apologies if the spelling is incorrect) are both warm and funny individuals that made the class something to look forward to each week. Their wealth of knowledge across all of the different breeds means they tailor the training advice to you and your pup which i appreciated, it's not just a 'one size fits all' training program. I can't wait until Jess starts misbehaving so I book us onto another one!
Thank-you Sue/Neave

Can't recommend Sue's classes highly enough. Fantastic price for the course. Just finished a six week training course with my New Zealand Huntaway 9 month pup Hunter. Sue helped us with barking, lead pulling, socialisation and recall. The classes are small (6 in our group) which is ideal as she has time to spend with each dog and owner. Sue is a lovely lady who really knows her stuff and has a great sense of humour. Thank you Sue for all your advice and help.

We took our rescued young dog along to Sue's adult dog classes and couldn't have been happier. Sue's friendly class gave us the chance to meet new dogs and their owners and Sue's helped us with recall and walking on the lead - with near immediate results in our case. The small class sizes meant we got plenty of personalised advice for us and our dog. Just the thing for first time owners and improvers alike!

Puppy classes with Sue and Niamh were excellent. We were given solid techniques for training, delivered in a calm and fun manner. You won't have a fully trained dog in 6 weeks but you will know what you should be doing. Good socialisation for the dog also. Our little Cavalier loved the classes. Get yourself along. Sue will train you and you can train your puppy. Good to do, and at a good price. Spot on!

Sue was so helpful with our Labrador puppy. He loved her! And she gave us excellant advice. Sue is a delightful, kind and experienced trainer - we both learnt a tremendous amount. Highly recommend.

We did puppy classes with Sue. She came over to our home to teach us basics for our cocker spaniel. Being first time owners, we really needed these classes and Sue was so supportive, funny and full of knowledge.. She told us so many tricks that we had never thought of and she happily stayed later in many session if needed. I would happily recommend her.

Eva and I have had one to one lessons with Sue from Goody 4 Paws to help with Eva’s tendency to pull on the lead if she feels in a stressful situation, while walking. With Sue’s help we have both learnt how to deal with the pulling, and it’s no longer a problem. Our walks are much more pleasant for both of us.
Sue has a huge knowledge and understanding of dog behaviour and I found her help invaluable.

We have just finished a 6 week course with Sue with our 5 month old Patterpoo puppy. We had a really fun time and learnt so much. Sue is an excellent trainer of dogs and owners! We would thoroughly recommend her classes.

Sue is a great trainer who obviously loves and understands dogs. We had 1 to 1 training sessions with Sue and the difference in our Golden Retriever puppy is amazing. Sue was very patient, explained everything to us and gave great advice. We would highly recommend Sue at Goody 4 Paws to anyone.

We had a number of 1:1 training sessions with Sue for our clever, but willful, Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy. Sue was extremely knowledgeable and experienced about all matters canine, full of energy, and a pleasure to work with. We have already recommended her to friends who have recently acquired "COVID puppies"!

Thoroughly enjoyable! We had home visit lessons with Sue which were all excellent, educational and most importantly fun for us and our young puppy. The course is full of great training exercises and Sue has an amazing understanding with our four legged friends.

I took my puppy to Sue's 6 week puppy training course and it was absolutely brilliant. Sue's no-nonsense approach, along with her excellent sense of humour and genuine love for dogs was brilliant. Sue's knowledge and expertise was incredibly helpful, and her approach to educating and training us puppy parents was very effective. My puppy and I learned so much, had bundles of fun and her methods work.
I had a follow up private session at my home over a month after the puppy course, and my little boy remembered Sue and went absolutely bonkers for her. Dogs are a bloody good judges of character, and my pup agrees that Sue's a good 'un!
I thoroughly recommend Sue.

5 stars seems nowhere near enough!
Walking into our first puppy class, I was riddled with nerves, what if my puppy is naughty what if I get it wrong what if its uncomfortable and nobody speaks what if the trainer is a scary lady!?
We turned up ready to give it a go regardless of all the worry, as soon as sue began to speak I felt at ease infact I found myself laughing a lot of the time! She explained everything so well (for me owning an older dog i had developed bad habits such a stroking for praise and confusing my dog and quite a few others) I thought I knew what I was doing but it goes to show 'Google training' doesn't really work!
Everything was so simple to understand I walked away from our first class feeling more confident with my dog then I have ever before. We worked super hard together training every day multiple times. The weeks went by and we began to struggle to get a few things happening. Bandit was brilliant I was me that needed a kick up the bum, sue called me anytime i had trouble she went above and beyond spending ages on the phone with me, reviewing videos I had sent her to let me know where I was going wrong or how I could improve. Then after 5 long weeks we finally achieved down proof that hard work and persistence pays off!
I enjoy walking my puppy, I enjoy having him with me hes such a good boy! We still have work to do but I would have never made it here without sue.
If you are looking at these reviews because you think you need some help and guidance take the leap! I was so reluctant to spend £90 on a course for my dog but I'm so glad I did it was worth every penny and more!
Thankyou so much sue, can't wait for you to meet tyson in the new year!
And a big WOOF WOOF from bandit❤

I cannot recommend Sue highly enough! She was absolutely great at explaining everything and has taught me, as a novice dog owner, how to teach our puppy. I came away from each session feeling a little more confident - seeing our pup Marty learning what is expected of him is just brilliant! We still have lots and lots of practicing to do, but Sue has given me the tools we need to teach Marty to be a safe and all-round lovely addition to our family. She was also wonderful at including our 12-year old daughter in training Marty and I should add that Marty absolutely adores Sue! Thank you so much for everything!!

We have had one-to-one home visits with Sue, which has helped us through the early days so much. Sue was really good at involving my young son in the training, so it was a family exercise. Her training and advice has given us the confidence and impetus to keep up the good work. I would recommend an early days home visit from Sue before you even get your puppy, or soon after.
A. D.
Sue was fantastic and I will definitely recommend her! We learned so much in our 1 to 1 sessions and had so much fun at the same time. Marley absolutely loves Sue. She is such a natural with dogs and her passion and experience shines through. It was also great value for money! Thank you so much Sue for your humour and your patience. if we ever get another puppy in the future you’ll definitely be the one we will call!
C. K.
Sue was great! We had four private lessons with her and learned a lot of useful skills and also helped us with behavioral issues our puppy Alfie has at home. Like being a mum the first time again, Sue supported us and gave us the confidence we need! Our kids enjoyed the lessons as well. Thank you Sue!
H. V.
I would highly recommend using Sue. She was absolutely brilliant and has enabled us to train our puppy to be such a lovely dog. She worked with us and our puppy to ensure the training was right for us. On top of how amazing she was with us, our dog absolutely loved her!! Thank you for everything Sue.
E. M.
We had a wonderful experience with Sue! She was great with our 4 month old puppy Catherine and worked at a perfect speed for us. She focuses on teaching you how to train your own dog which means it continues even after classes are finished. We highly recommend her!

Having just finished a series of home visits, I can not recommend Sue and good 4 paws highly enough. Sue is clearly enthusiastic and knowledgeable about what she does and the result is puppy training sessions that are both informative and enjoyable. We have already seen some progress in our puppy's training and have been left with useful hints and guides for how to continue.

It was so easy to listen to Sue and practice on the field with the help of Nieve. Both ladies were professional and very patient with our cavapoo puppy. Have recommended goody 4 paws to friends who need training support. The 5 star reviews speak volumes on how good of a trainer Sue is.
We still continue with the puppy training at home despite finishing the course several weeks ago.

We took our 9-week-old puppy Ronja to Sue's puppy training classes. The only bad thing I can say about this course is that it only lasted 6 weeks! I wish it would have lasted 8 or 10 weeks, not only because we and our pup learned so much from it, but also because it was so much fun. Sue and her assistant (Maeve?) are really good teachers, and the handouts each week helped so much too. I would wholeheartedly recommend taking Sue's puppy training course. They are reward based and always about making training fun for you and the pup. We will certainly be coming back for obedience training when our dog is a bit older.
P. G.
Nellie the Boxer did the puppy classes which lasted for 6 weeks. Both Nellie and myself enjoyed the training very much - I also know that Nellie enjoyed meeting the other puppies!
Sue did a great job explaining and showing us what to do! Sue is obviously very experienced in Dog Training and if just a bit of her knowledge rubs off on Nellie and myself it will definitely help us to continue to progress. Very enjoyable sessions - will miss these on Tuesday evenings! Thanks Sue.
P. C.
Sue the trainer was competent approachable and gave clear good instruction. Our dog Kave responded well to the training and with input from us away from the classes came on in leaps and bounds. The venue was good there was plenty of one to one and in general just a really nice learning atmosphere for both us humans and especially the Dogs. Sue also can sign using BSL which makes her sessions very inclusive. I really can't recommend this business highly enough in a market where quality and value are important. If we had any issues in the future i would not hesitate to contact Sue.

We took our whippet pup to the goody4paws 6 week training course and loved it! The sessions were interactive and valuable. Sue had an instant connection with our pup who loved seeing her every week! Would definitely recommend it as a great way to begin training and socialising your dog!

We have just finished the 6 week puppy training class. Not at all intimidating and the pace wasn't too fast. Good way for all the different sizes of dog to learn to socialise other dogs. Group instruction and demonstration and then Sue went round each dog and owner(s) individually to help and advise. Very good notes given out at the end of every class to help practise at home. We struggled with teaching our puppy one or two things and Sue gave really helpful tips that worked well. She's obviously very experienced, dedicated to her job and genuinely loves dogs.
B. C.
Sue is a great trainer. She is passionate and caring about dogs and the sessions have been both informative and fun! We just completed the first stage of training for our 4 month old puppy and it has been really helpful! The work continues but at least we have a strong foundation to build on. We strongly recommend her!
K. R.
Sue is brilliant with dogs and her approach to puppy training is easy to understand and uses clear instructions. We had great fun and learnt a lot along the way. Sue’s style is relaxed and humorous and we would thoroughly recommend her.

Sue Durham is a brilliant dog trainer. She's a jolly personality who brings a sense of fun to every session, and she always tailors her guidance to each individual dog and owner. But Goody4Paws is more than just a professional service - it's also a great way to meet other dog owners and have fun with your puppy. My husband and I genuinely looked forward to the class every week.

Sessions and notes are clear and really helpful. Great opportunity for puppies to socialise in a safe space. Sue and Niamh are lovely. Enjoyable for both the adults and puppies!

Sue is a brilliant Dog Trainner our puppy Harry loved her we had one-to-one training sessions at home with Sue which were excellent we learnt a lot would highly recommend

Sue at Goody 4 Paws is a pleasure to work with, and is excellent at what she does. She had me and my rambunctious 10 month old red setter mix trained in 2 sessions. We worked on recall and jumping on people, and by the second session there was already huge improvement thanks to the techniques Sue taught us. Very very glad we went with Goody 3 Paws, I couldn’t recommend them enough!
K. S.
Sue has endless patience with us poor humans, trying to learn how to train our puppies. Highly recommended and worth the investment
M. B.
Sue Durham is a fantastic dog trainer, her techniques really work even with my stubborn beagle puppy! She has a great sense of humour that makes the training sessions fun and engaging.

cannot rate Sue and Goody4Paws highly enough. The enthusiasm she has and clear love for what she does really shows through.
Initially Sue came and did a home visit a week or so after we brought our puppy home. He was a little nervous and she gave us tips to overcome this as well as help with basic behaviours around the house such as jumping up on the furniture. We liked her so much so we decided to sign up to the puppy classes.
The puppy classes are great and our puppy came on leaps and bounds and really helped build his confidence. The directions she gives are clear with a demonstration before each exercise. You get plenty of one to one time to allow for any corrections and additional help. Another great help is the homework booklets you get at the end of each session it really helps for continuing training at home.

Sue is fab! Both my pup and I enjoyed our lessons and learnt lots, as with all things like this; you get out of it what you put in, if you aren't going to keep up with the training between lesson then then you'll not benefit, but if you put the work in then you will see great results quickly. I have had 4 or 5 lessons and (hopefully) won't be needing any more...Thank you Sue....maybe one day you'll do 'away' classes in Wales ;)

Sue was absolutely brilliant training Rio, my irish setter puppy. We did the initial 6 week puppy course, and her instructions and handling were nothing short of magic. She is patient and so willing to give reason or further information into any command or puppy behaviour. Any socialisations questions i had, i could talk to her and ask is it right/wrong? what should i do? The training is as much for you as the pup! Don't hesitate and get her support!

Sue’s puppy classes were great. Sue is clearly very experienced in dog training and not only did I learn a lot from the classes, I also really enjoyed them (and so did my puppy, I think!).

Sue is a lovely lady with a genuine love of dogs and great teaching approach - who clearly is an expert in her field. Addition of humour into the mix relaxed everyone.
There was a lot of information to take in, but Sue explained everything well and was always very patient with both dogs and owners!
Would highly recommend the classes.
Teddy will miss his classes!

Sue is a great dog trainer! She helped us tighten up a few areas of training with our 1 year old dog. We saw almost instant results in some areas but she persevered with us when it took us a little while to grasp other things. Lovely person and knows what she's doing!
J. B.
Sue is an absolutely fantastic trainer. Both I and my puppy Alba loved the classes and learned so much. I had one to one classes which I'm really pleased to have gone with. I would definitely personally recommend!
K.
Sue was brilliant. Really knowledgeable and always keen to offer as much help as possible to support you and your dog. She also has a great sense of humour which makes it really fun to do. Highly recommend.

We started training our puppy, Roxy on day 2 of bringing her home, at only 9 weeks old. Sue recommended puppies are never too young to start and she was completely right, Roxy picked up the training tools very quickly and these tools we have gained being new dog owners has been invaluable. We must add, we had training via WhatsApp video call and were sceptical if it would have the same impact as face to face training, and let us tell you, Sue was clear with her instructions and was patient in showing us a number of times when we couldn’t grasp a certain training method. If your worried about COVID and are putting training off until you can have face to face - please give the video calls a go, you won’t regret it.
Recently, we have let Roxy’s lead walking get sloppy and she’s got bad at pulling on the lead. Especially when our 6 year old boy runs off in front us and she wants to chase after him. We called Sue again and asked for her expertise on the best way of retraining Roxy - she is now 1 years old. Sue has yet again, given us the belief and tools we need to get Roxy walking nicely on the lead without pulling. It’s important to know, even if your dog is of an older age, it’s never too late to give Sue a call and gain her knowledge of how to handle all sorts of situations and issues you are experiencing.
Sue is always on hand, a message or phone call away and is always happy to help and support. Very happy with her service and would highly recommend to all. Thanks Sue for all your help.

We had a 4 great home puppy training sessions with Sue during lockdown. We and the dog learned loads and we highly recommend the training.

Sue has been just marvellous! Sue's calm and fun approach to puppy training has helped our little Border Collie become a friendly little addition to our family!
Don't know what we would of done without you Sue, a huge thank you!

We had a great experience with Sue, she was so good with me and My doodle Mabel who is crazy! Hahah bet was even managed to be tamed by sue we learned loads with our 4 home sessions. Great value 👍🏻 Loads of 1:1 xx

A great six week course with goody 4 paws for myself and my puppy milo. Sue made things really simple so both I and milo could learn and most of all it was fun. Sue is full of knowledge and she was always happy to help with things that may not be covered in the course. I can’t recommend goody 4 paws highly enough.
J. S.
Sue was excellent with our puppy! Her classes are clear, instructive and fun, and she is very good at tailor to the need of different dogs. Highly recommend!!

I cannot recommend Sue enough! Sidney our pup has learnt so much in the sessions we had with her. A true dog lover who knows her stuff! We truly have the confidence to continue with all we have learnt! A massive thank you from Sidney and from all of us x

Would definitely recommend the dog training course. It was a brilliant course for our 1 year old French bulldog. Great value for money too.

Great training for me and my 8 week old Rottweiler Hades. Training was simple and done at my place and Sue focussed on what I wanted specifically given the size of dog he will become I wanted to ensure Hades was well behaved and obedient. Sue did exactly that, we have been so impressed with Hades progress I have now booked our 5yr old Shorkie in for adult dog training on 06/06/20. Thank you so much Sue terrific training! Everyone we meet is always amazed with how obedient/commands Hades know considering he is still so young. Would recommend this training to anyone with a young puppy and needs some assistance.
S. M.
Sue is a really superb trainer and clearly has a very deep understanding of how best to train many different breeds of dog. I really enjoyed the classes, and so did the puppy!
R. S.
I was a bit sceptable at first, but Sue has a great way in training both the dog and the owners. She makes the training fun and enjoyable and clearly loves what she does.
We miss not going training and Riley certainly does.
A. K.
Can't recommend highly enough. Me and my puppy enjoyed every single class and learned so much!

Our 4 months old Semla has recently completed puppy classes with Sue, who is teaching a positive, reward based method. Both Sue and Niamh were very professional and helpful. Our pup has learned a lot and we are delighted with her improved recall and lead walking. Comprehensive notes given at the end of each session allowed us to do training at home between classes. Semla enjoyed the training and we loved seeing her socialising with other puppies in a safe environment at the end of each class, which also has improved her confidence. Classes were conducted in a small group to allow time for Sue and Niamh to give individual attention to every dog. Highly recommend Goody 4 Paws
T. G.
What a lovely puppy course, Sue, along with Niamh, are attentive, knowledgable and supportive. Looking forward to arranging further more intensive training in the near future for our Vizsla.
