We rehomed our dog from Dogs Trust and he lacked basic discipline and ability to chill out. He LOVED dog school and we've all really benefited from the classes, he'll now happily lie down and settle without a fuss and he's learnt some cool tricks too!
The girls are all super friendly, really professional and know exactly what they're talking about.
10/10 would Dog School again!

Signed my 4 month old puppy up for training classes with Dogs Trust Dog School. The team were excellent. So knowledgeable, really engaging but more than anything, very patient. Would highly recommend.

I recently took my new puppy to Dogs Trust Dog School as part of the adoption agreement.
I'm an experienced dog owner so wasn't sure how much I'd get from the sessions but I was very impressed and pleasantly surprised.
Much of the training I already knew, but there were a couple of things that really helped and being able to train my pup without my other dog getting involved was invaluable, so I'd highly recommend Dogs Trust Dog School to anyone, whether you're an experienced dog owner or this is your first dog.
The staff were helpful, knowledgeable and clearly love dogs as much as me.
Brilliant - thank you.

We really enjoyed the classes and all the trainers are very patient and knowledgable. I would definitely recommend to anyone who needs some guidance with their dog!

I found Dog School most professional, very well organised and friendly. I am so grateful for the strategies they provided for dealing with all sorts of issues of behaviour both general and particular to my dog. It is also most reassuring to know that further advise is avilable if needed.

We have just finished our 5 week adult course with Beth and the gang. The classes flew by as they cram as much advice and training in as possible. I regularly research information on dog training but learned a lot; nothing beats practical sessions anyway!
Our dog can be reactive towards other dogs so we were anxious about how he would behave in the classes, but the set up is thought out well and he actually did brilliantly. They also met him beforehand to get an idea of his temperament, etc.
The Dogs Trust team are all about positive reinforcement and understanding your dogs behaviours and managing how you react to these. They don’t make you feel bad if you struggle with something, they are just supportive and positive throughout.
Essentially: we really enjoyed the class and would recommend it! Most importantly, our dog enjoyed it, too.

Don't think you'll get an exemplary dog from 5 mornings you need to work at it, but you ARE given all the advice and support needed from these classes. If you are a new dog owner or have recently acquired a rescue dog these classes are a MUST and will give you a firm basis upon which to build a strong relationship with your dog and thereby create a good citizen dog. Informal but informative ... and fun.

Poppy and I really enjoyed our training with Dogs Trust Dog School. It was brilliantly organised, good fun whilst also teaching 'serious' life skills, and above all, based on kindness and reward. The trainers and volunteers are all fantastic, knowledgeable, and genuinely want to help. I can't recommend them highly enough - my only complaint would be that they don't run more courses that we can attend!

Really helpful, very worthwhile courses. The Trainers really do care about helping dogs and owners. The classes are limited to 6 puppies, which makes a big difference. Classes are great fun and a brilliant starting point for bringing up a dog that's good to have around. My puppy isn't aggressive at all but as a new dog owner on walks I have already witnessed other dogs that show signs of aggression, which I can now recognise instantly. It would be awful for her to have a bad experience and then develop bad traits herself, just because I was unaware.

I found it great, really friendly and brilliant for my mastiff Toby, I think we were both a bit nervous in week 1 but after that he just continued to improve with the technique taught by the trainers, would recommend to any one and also great value for money aswell.

Excellent training for Brian, (even though he was more interested in what was going on around him, than actually learning). We learnt a lot about helping his behaviour and sorting out the problems from his early months. Recommended for puppies, will bring him back to watch the adult course next year. 😁

Stanley and I definitely recommend Dog School. I initially took him to a one off recall class as I wanted to work on that but thought he was too shy & nervous for a full course. The girls were fabulous & he was so receptive to them that I signed up for a full course straight away. He's still a little inconsistent but he's come on so much & I feel confident enough to continue the methods we've learnt. Most of all I've seen him grow in confidence & concentration.

Great classes teach the owner how to train the dog! We learnt so much in the 5 weeks. Poppy loved her weekly class and the techniques we learnt can be used everyday.
Brilliant staff especially Beth and Lisa so dedicated. Highly recommended these classes

The whole experience was fantastic. The staff were always on hand to help and support and you can tell they are so passionate about the work they do. Shame there wasn't a couple more weeks! Would definitely recommend.

Great structured classes, we have learnt so much from the supportive and experienced staff. If it feels good to just have face to face contact each week with a teacher and chat about any issues you have. We are definitely more confident owners as a result of the classes and would recommend the classes to anyone who is interested in learning more. Very glad we chose the Nantwich class.

Minnie, my partner and I could not recommend Dog School enough. Our dog has improved massively in 5 weeks and they were able to support us outside of the class with some social issues Minnie was struggling with. Minnie has thoroughly enjoyed the classes (she got new toys from playing with them at the school). As well as learning how to leave, loose lead walk, walk through doors appropriately and is working on not jumping up visitors. She is generally better overall with sit, down, handle, settle etc. The first week I had no hope that our mad pug would ever settle but 5 weeks later she does. We took Minnie on her first holiday and while at a cafe she just lay down and settled. That would have never happened before and I honestly cannot thank the dogs school enough!

Mollie a very reserved anxious rescue Greyhound really enjoyed her time at the Dog School and by the end was relaxed and taking her turn showing her progress. The trainers were great relaxed, informative, caring and friendly, our new long nose will certainly be going soon

Five week course which also includes an additional induction which teaches all about reward based training and can help teach all ages of dogs the basic but life skills.
