Due to Covid our 3 dogs had an extended stay at Oak Ride Farm as we could not return home as planned from a holiday. We are so incredibly grateful for all the love and care that they received over this time. The understanding and kindness went a very long way in making our situation less stressful, and our dogs safety and wellbeing was one less thing to worry about. We are so grateful that our dogs are always so loved and cared for during their stays. Thank you!!!

I’ve been taking my senior Labrador ladies to Oak Ride Farm for Hydrotherapy since 2017. Its a highlight of their week. Weekly sessions have made such a difference to them, its been essential to their well being. Do we recommend Oak Ride Farm? Yes....absolutely! We travel 23 miles to get here. I have been using Oakride for my dog Nell for several years and have always been very pleased with the level of care and attention she receives each and every time. She is always more than happy to jump out of the car when I drop her off and each staff member greets her with genuine enthusiasm and affection - which, being a springer spaniel she returns in full measure! We are immensely grateful to Carolyn, Mandy and Paula for their help with Max, our Basset recovering from surgery for IVDD. They are truly amazing people. Always positive, yet realistic and practical, they helped us through times when things seemed hopeless. We spent many happy mornings there with Max and his best buddy Lou. We can't recommend Oak Ride Hydrotherapy enough.

Oak Ride Farm is a great place to leave your dog! Our Cockerpoo loves it and always has a great time. The staff are very friendly and efficient, try very hard to accommodate last minute changes to our bookings and obviously love dogs!

I have had a long association with Oak Ride kennels and can’t praise them enough. My present dog, a Flatcoated retriever, loves going there, whether it is just for a day of socialising and playing with other dogs, or a longer stay when I go on holiday. He goes in every time, tail wagging and comes back the same. All the staff are brilliant and truly love animals. It is such a relief to have somewhere to leave him knowing that he will be happy and well looked after. The day stay has also been a godsend if I have to leave him or need to keep him out of the way for any reason. I can leave him to play at the kennels instead of him having to be shut indoors for hours. I highly recommend Oak Ride farm as a lovely place to leave your dog.

We have used oak ride for at least 12 years.They really love our dog(s) and the dog is happy on arrival and departure.The kennels are spacious with big runs. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

We have know Carolyn Murphy for years - she was wonderful with our Westies - and they also had happy holidays at the kennels: the quarters and staff are first rate. We have been using this kennel for our two dogs for the last five years and we are very happy with it. Staff is very friendly and helpful and very good with dogs. My dogs are always happy if I bring them, which for me is a sign that they are treated well.

We have tried a few catteries in the are and find Oak Ride to be the best. Always a stressful time taking cats to a cattery but our two are far less stressed now we have found a good one. The ease of dealing with the bookings and all other admin makes it even more of a great find.

Highly recommend. Our Labrador Charlie has been going to Oak Ride Farm Hydrotheraphy for regular rehab sessions following an arthroscopy procedure. Carolyn and Mandy are excellent with him and have achieved great results. Our vet is impressed with the muscle tone and movement, which it is unlikely he would have achieved the same results without hydro. Charlie loves going there (he gets fed sausages and cheese - what dog wouldn’t!) and it’s all down to the nature of the team and how well they connect with the dog. I love how they offer a free trial session so your dog can try it out. Can’t recommend them enough.

Oak Ride Kennels have been brilliant with Tonka. They took him at very short notice and at a difficult time both for them, because it was a peak time, and for us. He clearly enjoyed his time with them as is evidenced by the enthusiasm with which he has greeted staff and gone with them on subsequent occasions.

My cats were looked after very well over the Christmas holidays. Had no problems with me coming to get them early. They accept card payments as well as cash. They seem to offer many different services, not just cat kennels.

Absolutely amazing place, Poppy our four legged youngest child runs off when she comes here for a holiday. Nothing is ever too much trouble. You can tell the staff enjoy their job and Poppy sure loves them.
