They have help me, even after years of dog ownership, with a reactive dog rescue and a new puppy. Using appropriate techniques and methods for the different personalities and needs. What can I say, my 10 year old terrier had been confined to a long line for about 7 years after having no recall, been down every badger set in West Sussex, going missing for days, killed a cat when he jumped the fence one day, and attacked sheep on two occasions, I was told and thought there was nothing I could do, I spent hours on YouTube trying to find a way, but nothing worked until I met Mark and Carly, in a matter of weeks Scruff was a different dog and now has been off the lead everyday since and you can visibly see the difference in how happy he is! Mark and Carly’s approach is brilliant they clearly know dogs and love what they do, the training is so relaxed and natural which puts you an and your dog at ease. I cannot thank them enough for their help and wouldn’t hesitate to send anyone with with recall problems their way.

Carley and Marc at Canine Instincts Dog Training & Behaviour are amazing!! I cannot thank them enough for all their help and support with Dudley (my larger than life Boxer). They have helped us resolve so many issues, from the basics of just how to hold a lead properly! Down to working on and getting amazing recall, loose lead walking and being around other dogs and people calmly. They have completely transformed our relationship and helped give me and Dudley the confidence to go out and enjoy our walks again together. Their passion and knowledge of dogs, not only on the behaviour side, but also in regard to health and nutrition is fantastic and I have learnt so much. Having started my journey with them in utter despair, doing 121 training, they have been so calm and patient with me and I’m so hooked, that I can’t get enough! We join in the Social Responsibility and Group Socialisation classes, something I thought Dudley would never be able to do! The sessions that we attended before moving were brilliant. Frank loved it, he’s a high energy staffie so being challenged both mentally and physically really tested him. Zeus came nto my life from Boxer Rescue, Southern, who Carley and Marc have a great affiliation with, helping new owners with any behavioural or medical issues that might be evident. Zeus was almost perfect when he came to me at the age of 14 months. I did need assistance with recall and separation anxiety, and with guidance from Carley we have come on leaps and bounds. I have also used Csrley's recommendations on his diet and alternative holistic treatments, such as worming, ticks and annual booster treatments instead of expensive and sometimes dangerous vetinary injections. I would 100% recommend the services and advice from Canine Instincts and Dog Training.
